Nigeria is becoming something else right now. Pls nairalanders, take time to read this. On saturday GLO sent a text via 7078 which they consistently use in updating their customers to me which read "Today's special!!! Get 200% free data bonus if you buy data bundle of 500 naira which will give you 150MB for 7 days. Dial *127*57# to purchase now. Njoy am well" To my surprise, i was given only 150MB. I called the customer care and all their agents could say was they don't have such information about bonuses on data and they could not help me. This has happened to 10 people i know and we have all called the customer care with no results. I think the only logical explanation is that Glo sent the messages intentionally to trick people into buying airtime. I am posting this so that you be warned and don't fall victim. |
