What is the procedures when documents needed for person to sell their house is missing, stolen, or destroyed?
I think that documents can be obtained from local government but need to be sure on what are the procedures so can stay away from scammers.

Montero is as reliable as pathfinder or 4runner. What can kill a vehicle is lack of proper maintenance and bad fuel in Naija. I will suggest going for yr 2000 and up montero. I know a friend who has 2000 montero sports with 260k miles and it still performs well. Good maintenance is the key to any vehicle.
