In reality, most of Nigeria's soil is low fertility or low productivity soil. Over 60% of the country's soils fall into the very low productivity to low productivity brackets. All the talk about Nigeria's fertile land is to put it bluntly, a myth.

Nigeria's weather is also...not quite perfect. It varies widely (from the hot, highly humid weather of most of Southern Nigeria) to the very hot, relatively lower humidity of large parts of Northern Nigeria. The high humidity and searing heat do eventually take their toll on people, livestock and even machines.

Are you insane!! A country described as rich by its colonialists with an economy that was dependent solely on agriculture before the oil boom?? A simple test of soil fertility is the presence of earthworms. Where in Nigeria is this organism not found??

One thread has a govt official telling us how poor we are as a country, and yet another telling us that this same poor country must purchase a new jet for its president with borrowed money, whether they like or not! They bought a yacht that he has never set sail on, luxury cars that he has never sat in, all with borrowed funds. Yet the over 112 million living below the poverty line in the same country should not talk, because his slaves want to normalize silence in the face of oppression.

This is a very big fat lie that is recently being propagated by the poor excuses we have for political elites. Nigeria is not a poor country by any means. A country with large commercial quantities of gas reserves, crude oil, coal, gold, natural resources & mineral deposits, large tracts of very fertile arable lands, perfect weather and abundant human capital, can only be poor by choice and not by fate. Even with our humongous debts, this country still has the economic potential to pull at least 5 million people out of poverty each year. The combined wealth of Nigeria’s five richest men - $29.9 billion - could end extreme poverty at a national level yet millions face hunger everyday. More than 112 million people are living in poverty in Nigeria, yet the country’s richest man would have to spend $1 million a day for 42 years to exhaust his fortune. And all this money was made off the Nigerian economy! Poverty and inequality in Nigeria are not due to a lack of resources, but to the ill-use, misallocation and misappropriation of resources. At the root is a culture of corruption combined with a political elite out of touch with the daily struggles of average Nigerians. They want you to believe Nigeria is a poor country, yet our lowest politicians earn far above presidents of richer nations! Ndi ala!!!

Not in this century! Let them do their thing and we’ll see who it’s going to be. But it certainly isn’t going to be that name unless they’ve sold their slot to the GOP!😂
