To meet fiscal spending obligations in 2025, the proposed spending plan for a budget of N49.70trn (36.62% higher than the 2024 plan of N35.05trn) targets N34.82trn revenue, N13.10trn borrowing, and debt service of N15.38trn. And if u think that’s all, the Nigeria Macroeconomic Outlook for 2025 has predicted that the naira could sell for N2000 per dollar in a worst-case scenario, while both currencies may exchange for about N1790 in a best-case scenario!
