Don't mind them. Nigerians can believe anything.

One man meat is another man's poison. If you can't eat another man's food, appreciate his courage or different taste and move on. Don't call them names cos of their choices.

You ban something same day you are implementing the ban.

Do you know traders have such goods worth hundreds of millions of naira in their possesion? They should burn their goods abi?

The best solution is to work with the manufacturing companies so they can switch to producing paper takeaway packs.
The enduser is not your problem.

Wow. I am impressed.

Finally...

I thought this guy would be another Pep Guardiola, but he later turned out to opposite of Pep Guardiola.

Even as a Chelsea and Madrid fan, I feared Barca before, but not anymore.

Barca is just like the new Tottenham.

Nothing lasts forever.

Good Luck Xavi Hernandez, one of the best players in the history of football and also one of the worst Coaches.

Worst coach? Won the league in his first season? With those crop of players?

The problem of Barcelona is finances. There's nothing worse about Xavi.

I just dey look you. Venture into poultry farming and see if it's easy. Or don't you know life happens to someone sometimes?? Don't you know how much you will spend before your layers start laying eggs?? (And that's if all of them will lay the eggs be that because not all of them lay eggs).

You guys just think everyone here is inexperienced and or underaged.

BennyDGreat:

There's insecurity as well in the South.
Many of them are unreported. If it wasn't for Sunday Igboho who made noise back then, many people won't know what was happening in the South West.

Beyond that, there's need for serious research institutes to proffer real time solutions to issues in the agricultural sector. This costs a lot. If government cannot fund it, let them woo private individuals and give them guarantee that their final results won't be stolen and ensure they make profit from their work.

Another thing is knowledge gap. How many young people today know about farming?
There has to be a lot of incentives put in place to make young people want to venture into farming.

Another thing is funding. It cost good money to run a farm that can feed even a local government.
When many consider the cost, they just japa.

Agricultural activities were majorly neglected because government, the major driver left the driving wheels

Very laudable points you have there. I think our mindset is just tailored towards consumption. Look critically into every sector and you will realise how deep this problem is.

Once an average Nigerian sees 3m, he thinks of either land, car or house...very rare for you to see them think of putting that money in a profitable venture to multiply the money. We need reorientation walahi.

I met an engineer months ago who was lamenting about tools to manufacture some saleable stuffs. When I asked him about the amount for the tools, he was mentioning around 8m or so...but to shock you, this man lives in his house (of over 10 in value)...comfortably seating on what can employ him, his community and his children.

Go check the spending pattern of the poultry farmers and you will discover that most of them lost their business as a result of them spending their money in a course not related to the farms...you buy feed and sell eggs - it's that simple! Or is it that people aren't buying eggs? Here in my community, you see egg to buy by chance. @150 per egg.

Our idea of acquisition is the root cause of this whole mess of debt, unemployment, lack of productivity and the rest.
Agriculture / Re: Over 50% Of Poultry Farms In Nigeria Shut Down In 2023: PAN by olisefom: 8:09am On Jan 26
I was complaining about this with a retailer in my neighbourhood yesterday.

The man was explaining to me that they always have to "book" (a week earlier - with money) before they can get specified supply (rationed offcourse).

Why are we having shortages of farm products in a country (south) of vast land and resources like Nigeria.
If insecurity is ravaging the North, what's happening in the south?

Nigerians are heading south because of our neglect of agricultural activities (majorly in the south) ...everything nobe government. But let's blame government so we can be fine.

Monie point made their system so efficient that you hardly have reason to call customer service. Now that they have started consumer banking, they will have no choice but to have a responsive customer service

Yes you are right. There's no always need to call, but what happens if there's need? I process around 2,000 trnxs per day, and there's this fear of what if?

On the later part, the provision for BOS is supposed to be different from that of customers in the consumer banking brackets.

With Pos, you should be talking about
Network
Dispute resolution
Customer service
Product variety
Value added services
And interoperability
Durability should be the least of your concern.
With that being said, I will advice you go for the Linus Pos of OPay or the android pos of monie point because of the ease of use(button and touch screen)
For Mpos I advise OPay or Nomba device.
In Conclusion, Monie point is the champion of Agency banking and Merchant while OPay is the champion when you talk of personal accounts and card issuance.
Happy new year

This is the summary. My only problem with moniepoint is them not having designated customer service lines for agents to contact them directly. Contacting BRMs for issue resolution is never going to work. BRMs are hustlers. They don't have time for BOS problems.

Photographers and videographers are next.

With the advent of AI, graphics designers too have a formidable competition.

Cashless policy will erode pos services.

Electronic cars will render PMS and most of the service stations useless.

Only time will tell.

The only save haven for now is agriculture.

She thought that her waist beads a.k.a. ileke idi will work on the oyinbo man like it does on the Nigerian men whose destinies have been locked in prisons in the marine kingdom.

In the past, waist beads was common among Northerners, villagers or local girls, and aṣewo. Almost all women of all culture, tribe and status now wear waist beads. It was not so before. Even sophisticated Christian women, Yoruba and Ibo women now wear it.

It has become so rampant nowadays that about 18 out of 20 women have it on their waist.

Men/boys will say "I cannot marry or date or have sex with a lady that is not wearing waist beads"...

But those who understand the times and seasons will know that this trend they call fashion is not ordinary. It is from the marine kingdom!

To all Nigerian men who have slept with waistbead wearing women, surrender your lives to Jesus Christ and be saved.

This generalisation/submission is wrong.

Marine for all waistbeed, common!

A self acclaimed pastor once accused me of being ogboni because I use wrist beed. I be like, of everything in this world, na juju remain?

The Bible is enough guide. Not these fixed mindset that makes one war with everything.
