The dude overplayed himself thinking he's that big. Baba no know say na Barca fanbase even dey hype am sef. As our fanbase don rest on him matter who dey head am for news again?

jpmoriarti: Yet deemed surplus to requirement by Guardiola.
I like him too but I feel Chelsea as a club, due to their level right now, may not be the best indicator for talent and achievement.
I will like him to do it in a club where there is bigger pressure to win. He wasn't though. The news was that he wanted guarantees... Cole Palmer is absolutely brilliant and intelligent. His technique and how he does things reminds me of Denis Bergkamp. Most fans will always hype thier players to high heavens but you see Palmer, he deserves all the hype. He's good! |

Sportsweb: Like this like this, na Foden be the one season wonder.
He is not even a starter with Pep favoring Savinho and Doku/Grealish as wingers He's currently not in form, yeah but in no world is Phil Foden a one season wonder unless you don't understand the meaning "of that term" When he starts playing ahead of the aforementined and eventually win something substantial again, the excuse will that he's a system player and that his achievements is because of Pep which could be true. He's better than Doku and especially Savninho who's currently a bench piece at City. Point is, Foden is not a one season wonder, nope, he's not! |

drisham: Nico Williams and Bellingham have been quiet this season though Nico was never really prolific but he's not been really fit this season. In and out of the team due to injuries. Don't expect much from him with Bilbao colours. They don't have enough quality for him to shine. But for ESP, he'll always cook because he's surrounded by better players there. Bellingham was almost a striker last season and scored a lot of goals. This season, with Mbape in the team, he's back in midfield and doing "real midfield work". He's just coming back from injury and was solid before that. |

Ijustwantto: he made his debut against young boys and I didn't even notice. La masia, who be dis again 😂😂 Person wey them bully like thief. He nearly gave away a pen sef after being bullied and beaten for pace. I think Flick wanted to test his 3rd choice after Dominiquez failed his own audition. I think for rotation, kounde will always go in the CB position while Fort takes over the RB position. It's clear that Cuenca isn't ready and it's not a problem. This applies to Dominiquez as well. Both are kids and will improve with time. Not everyone can "Curbasi" it When you watch these guys; Eric, Martin, Dominiquez and Cuenca, you just have to really, really appreciate Curbasi. He's 17 and playing like a veteran! |

abduleez1: I think say na only me see this thing.
There's no amount of premium football De Jong wants to play in remaining years in FCB that will move me anymore. Even if he does well under Flick, I'll be all too happy to ship him off the club the earliest chance I get. Dejong is a net negative in that midfield. I just hope United can pay 20milion and take him because he's leaving for free in 2026. Either that or they'll renew him on lower wages but I hope not! |

Never seen any shot he saved. Ones you shoot at his goal, you'll definitely score.
He doesn't possess any instinct of a goalkeeper. All his body languages are wrong.
Tuehhh Inaki Pena is operating at Segunda level. He'll relegate a lot of teams after his Barca departure. Jordi Masip is better than him Nd that's something. Woshek can't come quick enough! |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Na Osasuna we play for last game. Didn't watch the game but I'm not surprised hearing about Ferran uselessness, it has now become the new normal coming from a 65m investment I know it was Osasuna but the left winger that roasted us and took advantage of the high line is known as Brayan Zaragoza. Ferran is beyond redemption and I'm not hating. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by oliverano: 10:15pm On Oct 01, 2024 |
Kilishihunter: I agree with some of your points but you see that high line, it's used for catching opposition forwards on the offside trap but then again with smart wingers it could turn ugly if not we'll perfected, that's probably the reason why Flick set us up to score as much as possible Fati has lost his speed but let's see if he has lost his shooting too, if it's still there we can convert him to an inside forward or a second striker just like gnabry back then under Flick We desperately need a LW, despite all that happened I'm still in favor of us going back for Nico, if it doesn't materialize let's just try for moleiro Moleiro the Pedri look alike, that'll be awesome and he's a very good player. Just like Brayn Zaragoza. I'll still take Nico, why not! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by oliverano: 10:10pm On Oct 01, 2024 |
FirstbornWds: This high line isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Right now, I'm more concerned with with us scoring and taking our chances.
I'm definitely not just clamoring that Fati is done after one match. What he lacks is proper match fitness. His knee isn't bad.
DeJong will have to learn to adapt with players. I no send him papa but then even Pedri can be a ball hugger when in possession until his creative part sets up. FDJ will be fine.
Cuenca didn't do badly abeg. He was bullied and even Pau could face similar fate. I'd like to see another cameo before we conclude. He showed an excellent reading of the offside trap and that counts as something. I hope so but the difference between Dejong and Pedri is night and day. Dejong is so defensive unaware and we lost our defensive shape immediately after his introduction. High line is going nowhere for sure but I hope we could tweak it abit. Was way too high at times. I trust Flick 💪 |

When you watch players like Cuenca, Eric Garcia, Dominiquez and Martin, you'll just appreciate Cubarsi at 17.
My observations so far.
1. Fati is done, his knees are gone and he can't run, reminds me of the latter years of Umtiti.
2. Ferran remains net negative and will cost us games yet again.
3. We don't have a goal keeper
4. We still need a left winger.
5. The return of Dejong the ball hugger could hamper our performance. He didn't change. Same hugger with zero defensive awareness.
6. The line is too high. Top wingers like Vini, Mbape, Gnabry will feast. We saw how Zaragoza roasted us last game.
7. Raphinha is a beast
Good win though 💯 |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by oliverano: 7:15pm On Oct 01, 2024 |
Kilishihunter: When i say he's a beast i mean he's far better there compared to his defensive capabilities, that's the context of what I'm talking about, i didn't watch him at levante sha but i at least followed him through pre season and watched some of his past lamasia clips, he sometimes almost played like a wing back, he also has two assists for Celtic in under 110 mins despite being a non starter Yeah balde is still our best LB by miles but for him to be a top 3 in the world he must improve more lot attacking wise especially on the final ball since he's already good in defense Yeah, fairs..... But what's it with Farran starting again? Hmm |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by oliverano: 5:31pm On Sep 30, 2024 |
Kilishihunter: Likely for defensive reasons reason why martin was chosen, being skinned against leao in our last pre season game also didn't help his case, it's the offensive part he's a beast even better than balde, i hope he stays with us next season cause this martin guy isn't looking like it at the moment 🙏 🙏 🙏 Beast is a stretch and Balde as a comparison is a very low mark. You're making it sound like Valle was killing it as an attacking LB like them Grimaldo, Alba etc but he wasn't really. He was just alright. He started good at Levante, lost his place in the team and became a bench player. At Celtic this season, he'll not bench Greig Tailor and will return to Barca. Joining Celtic was a wrong move. He should have gone to a team where he'll play week in week out. Valle is incredibly weak as a defender and alright in the attacking third. He's not a beast in anything but better than Martin. Again another very low mark. Balde is fine but he must improved massively especially up the pitch if not he'll force the coach to make a decision but not with Martin though. Martin is like Jaime, very average and will continue as backup untill sold. |
