If your website is built on PHP, you can use any PHP image libraries, like Spatie or PSLIW for automatically optimizing image size. This library can be installed on the server by cloning the github repository to the server. |
You can create Laravel rest API and connect it with Android to create android app with laravel backend. Here is how you can create such an app: https://www.cloudways.com/blog/connect-android-app-with-laravel-api/ |
I wouldn't recommend cpanel based hosting or shared hosting for hosting symfony or any other PHP based apps. I would recommend you to go with a cloud server, like DigitalOcean. If you don't know how to setup a DO server manually, you can use platform, like Cloudways, for hosting PHP MySQL site on managed servers. With this platform, you can host PHP on Digitalocean server in just one click. There is no need to manage server manually either. |
With the right tutorial, you can also do PHP unit testing for your website easily. However, you must have ssh access on your server to be able to run unit testing. |
Instead of shared hosting, which is known for security and performance issues, I would recommend using Cloudways platform. Using this platform you can host Laravel app (https://www.cloudways.com/en/laravel-hosting.php ) on infrastructure in one-click, no need for ssh. You can then deploy app from sftp or built-in git integration. |
For codeigniter app, I would recommend using Cloudways CodeIgniter hosting. This platform makes the process of launching a server and deploying CodeIgniter website on it quickly and easily. No need to configure the server. Just get started with deployment right away. |
Is it better to create an ecommerce website in laravel from scratch? I thought using packages, like Aimeos, to create an ecommerce website (https://www.cloudways.com/blog/laravel-ecommerce-website-with-aimeos-package/ ) is a much better option as it saves your time and you can do it with minimum coding. |
Free hosting is not a safe option for your PHP website. If it is a personal blog that you want to host, then it is fine. But if you want to host your client's or business's website, then I would suggest you to go for an affordable VPS instead. If you don't know how to setup a VPS and install PHP on it, then you can try out Cloudways PHP hosting platform where you don't need sysadmin skill. |
Are you sure you didn't copied this from the tutorial here: https://magenticians.com/create-module-in-magento-2/ It looks really familiar. |
