but let me take a little pain explaining to you, even though it's futile trying to share bible wisdom with a mooooooslim fanatic.

the old testament is not totally written off but it was modified when Christ came. such commandments as "love your neighbor as yourself", "worship only the True God and no one else", "keep the sabbath day holy" and a few others are still observed. the only parts modified were the need to offer animal sacrifices to atone for sin (under Christ, genuine repentance and praying in Jesus name is all that is required).

as for tithing, it's a standard practice. the money is meant for church maintenance though some criminal pastors now see it as a means of extorting the congregation.

Jesus Himself approved tithing but he condemned the neglect of the more important things deserving of a true follower, which are "justice, mercy and faith".



but paying tithes alone does not make a good Christian. it's not the amount of money you donated but the motive! see what Jesus observed and taught his disciples on another occasion:

There are verses in most holy books that call for retaliation and violence in assumed slight but there is something very disturbing about Islam.

Islam is, arguably, the only religion where unrestrained violence and destruction, is either at best, permissible or at worst, encouraged. One needs to criticize deeply why Islam serves as a reference for violent acts and terrorism. How many people of other faith or no faith are executing and exhibiting terrorist tendencies in the name of religion? If the excuse is that these people are not true muslims (no true scotman fallacy), why is it that over 90% of these terrorists find their refuge in Islam.

The world won't tolerate these vices for ever.

For a while now I have been using Etisalat 1GB for N200 package as I'v found it to be the cheapest of all the data plans among the major 4 networks. Even cheaper than Glo. Its 3 days validity but normally I use more than 1GB in 3 days so I just keep renewing once it's exhausted. Data can be accumulated but validity can't. Even if I do 1GB daily that's 30GB for N6000.

I don't download heavily anymore for now so this plan is perfect for my daily use both on PC and mobile.

Who is deceiving who if not you. I read comments on this forum and I can deduce were this person is coming from. The way a Muslim will post is different from that of an atheist. I have read good articles by reasonable Muslims who made use of their medulla. Very few of them reason well on nairaland. Many of them do not reason well hence they argue unnecessary.
