The progressive decline in viewers' interest and participation in BBNaija would make an excellent project topic.

When BBNaija first launched, it drew a large audience due to its novelty. The promise of exciting moments attracted many viewers.

Over time, as the format and content became maybe familiar, the initial excitement just wore off. Interest plateaued, unfortunately, recent seasons have not significantly attracted more viewers, despite claims to the contrary by MultiChoice though.

Now, many former BBNaija fanatics are essentially boycotting the show. It's quite shocking!

I struggle to keep up with the show myself. The organizers need to reinvent it.

Nigerians value things only when they're new and fresh. Once it manages to last up to five years, they'll abandon it and start finding something. Everyone is now claiming mature. I don't know how not watching a reality show is God's blessing in disguise

Mercy was trying to avoid the hiccup of Pepper Dem + viewers would have claimed she made no growth at all (look at bitter leaf Cynthia). Thanks for supporting her during Pepper Dem

Biggie should have given them this week to settle and get very familiar with their games. I know there's too many of them, but he should have waited. And they need to start extending the show's duration to at least 85 days to avoid premature and king sized evictions. Pepper Dem housemates really flexed even though Avala and Isilomo were the sacrificial lambs of that season

Lilo and Eric. Lilo just chased after him and before u say jack Robinson, both just lost focus 100^.
Wow, I even still follow nini because she's a fine fine girl that a guy followed and lost focus. But Lilo and Eric own, I'm still flabbergasted, despite watching big brother from big brother africa season till date, I have never seen such such a thing. Even in big brother naija season 1, that katung won (because he came in 2 weeks after the start of the show), there was a girl, francisca, lovestruck. Her heart desire was ebuka (una host now) and I was supporting her. But ebuka no play game. And we were waiting for ebuka to come up, and once he did, we evicted him.
And francisca went on to because the 1st runner up. She would have won if not gor katung that was brought in after 2 weeks into the game.
Funny enough I still have the contact I made far then.
Social media was so fun then.

And there was that young girl that lost focus on day 1 and cringed to one promising guy. And both lost focus immediately. I can't even remember their names or picture what they looked like.

Honestly, I think it's her game oooh. Now she's getting talked about and on the screen. She's doing all she can to be relevant and given screen time, surprisingly it's working...compare her to her partner, she's the one giving the pair relevance.

I think she's kinda calculative....which is actually a good thing. Housemates must create awareness for themselves in the first week so they don't get forgotten.
