It always surprises me when i hear people say that the NFF/Government has neglected the Ex-professional. What do they want them to do ? To be paying them pension? Afterall many of them were professional footballers who played for clubs and were payed for it. Also they were given bonuses and appearance fees for playing for Nigeria. Wetin them use all the money do? Most of them spent all the money and did nothing to improve themselves. Take a look at the Most players that retired from the English national teams. They are either football pundits or coaches. You dont hear any of them complaining about government taking care of them. What makes footballers different from normal workers that government should pay them special attention? Make them park well joor!!!!

All of una wey dey hail keshi say im carry homecase, oya talk nau... The mohammed gambo guy is just a waste of a slot. I said it when the list first came out.... All the strikers are not half as good as martins, or uche. Anyway sha, we are coming home, cause even if we manage to beat spain, all uraguary needs is to score 6 goals in their last game which is very possible.... If only our players were not wasteful in the first game..

In the midfield, i would pick Lukman Haruna. He was in fine form this last season defends and passes well, he also packs a mean shot in his right foot, someone in the mold of Lampard, I would also pick Martins ahead of the Gambo dude. He brings something else to the team. Most of the strikers in the team are similar. There is not really a fighter in the mold of Martins, Emenike and Odemwinge.
