Oh OK. Thanks
I plan to use form A.
I think I should just initiate the transaction already.

Meanwhile, I dropped a message for you at the other end.

I have replied

I also used Form A but initiated it through Flywire as my school doesn't accept payment through Form A directly.

If you are planning to use Form A, the best time to initiate the transaction was yesterday to meet up; today is still not bad, but please don't wait till tomorrow so that you won't have to wait for a long time before you are debited, as the waiting period is now something else.

NB: The 3 months I gave you before was because I taught you had already applied; if you have not, it might be longer, as most banks have yet to debit those who applied since January.

Hi
I'm eager for this response too.
How long after initiation do you think processing and debit will be done? for UBA

You know it is in different stages, the last stage that is when you will be debited might take up to three months, also if u are using flywire you might wait for additional 2weeks after you have been debited for the funds to get to Flywire and Flywire credit your school.

Hello everyone.
Please I want to initiate form A to pay the first instalment of my school fees on time.
Can I initiate form A even if I don’t have the money in my account right now?

And please can someone help me with a sample of letter of authorisation to debit?
Thank you.

1. Yes, you can initiate the transaction if you don’t have money in account yet but make preparation to get the money in as soon as possible and also there are also charges that will be deducted before the real money you want to pay, make that one available in your account so that the process can continue even if the money is not in your account yet.

2. It depends on the bank o, visit the bank branch you want to initiate the transaction they will give you.

But it’s not a LETTER in quote, for most banks, it’s like a form with the heading “AUTHORITY TO DEBIT AND REMIT FUNDS” which will be given to you by your bank to fill and you will sign, submit for the processing.

Ohh. Thanks for your feedback.

1) Is it possible to remove the lamination? Can I attach a waec scratch card for online verification?

2) Be it self service or assisted service, the documents uploaded, would the original hard copies be submitted to UKVI or they would only work with the uploaded documents?

3) Any major advantage using assisted service over self service? What are the differences or is it the scan quality or do they help you select/choose what to send or what not to?

1. You don’t need to stress yourself by removing the lamination, snap the result and convert the jpeg to pdf and upload yourself. It’s very simple and straightforward.

2. They will only work on the uploaded ones, only your international passport will be submitted.

3. No major difference. Most people I saw using assisted service are elderly people who are not familiar with computer , if you feel you are not good with computer you can go for assisted service but if you understand the basic of snapping, converting to pdf and basic uploading of documents then I don’t see any reason why you need an assisted service.

Just make sure you upload all the required documents and it’s clear enough.

Hello guys, i initiated Form A with zenith bank in December, I am paying through flywire. All the cbn charges have been withdrawn but I'm yet to be debited. I got a mail from flywire that my payment link can no longer be tracked since it's been more than 90 days since i created my payment ID and i was told to create another payment ID. Is there a way to replace the old invoice with( payment ID) on tradesystem portal with the new one I'm about to create?

Hmm...I initiated my Form A with Zenith Bank Jan 5 and I have been debited since Feb 24, even I had those who initiated in Feb have started getting debited.

You might need to visit the branch u initiated ur Form A to know what exactly is happening.

For the FlyWire u should have called them to re-activate ur link before the time elapse, they can elongate it as much as you want, but u have to tell them like 3 days before the time elapse since u are yet to be debited. Now that the time has elapsed and link expired I am not sure if they can still help, call their Nigeria customer service no to know what can be done.

So the benefit of receiving CAS early is basically early visa approval and early booking of flight, right?

Yes!

So that you can start your processing “BEFORE THE RUSH”

Hi guys,

Pls Is it possible for those who have received CAS ahead of September intake to travel once visa is approved? If their visa is approved in May, can they travel in June?

No! You can only travel one month before your course start date.

That should be around August 20 for most schools, you can check your own start date.

I still need opinions on these issues please fam.

I was in your shoes at some point, and I stayed back, but guess what? The school fees were increased, and I have to use my additional savings to cover the additional fee, which made my waiting next to nothing.

So if you keep on waiting, you might have to keep on using your savings to match up with increments, and together with this inflation, which will make your staying back next to nothing unless you are expecting a big contract. Also remember that policy might change at any time which might make the processing more difficult.

Let me give you some tips that might help you....

First of all, you have to find a very affordable school with a good payment plan. If you have a 9, 10+ pounds balance after your deposit and a bad payment plan, you might not be able to meet up.

Secondly, find a student to tell you how strict the school is in terms of payment deadlines. There are a lot of schools that are very fair and there are schools that will give you high blood pressure if you are yet to complete your school fees payment, but you have to know before you jump into it.

Also, plan to get to the UK early. Getting in early will let you get a job before the rush, and you will be able to get budget-friendly accommodation before the rush, also you can work as long as you want before school resumes and you know what that means to sorting your bills. Before leaving Naija be sure that you have been able to get the maximum amount of money you can get (from relatives, sale of properties and the likes)

In addition, someone said if you have your wife as a dependent, she can help. 😂😂😂 Bro, if you are a guy and you want to go to school and your wife will work, believe me, it will be a traumatic experience for both of you (not in all cases though). My university roommate who is in the UK and schooling while the wife works said the wife cries every night that she wants to go back to Nigeria as the pressure is too much. Imagine someone who wants to leave a soft life and you now want her to carry the major responsibility, unless you will make her school while you work don't have it as a plan to make your wife work to cover your school fees payment, pay bills and at the same time do the wife role.

Lastly, as a tech guy it will be best to have a high-paying remote job with you even if the payment is in naira while in the UK, it will help to sort out bills and cover up some expenses while you also do your student job to earn in pounds, most especially when you are still trying to settle down.

Cheers
