Romance / Re: Is Snoring Enough To End A Relationship? by olola4(m): 10:28pm On Jun 20
It’s enough reason, all this people shouting he should buy something to block the nose or stuff so that she won’t snore…lol…u think it’s easy, those things makes someone feel so uncomfortable, even a lot of us to put on ordinary cloth on when we want to sleep sef we find it’s uncomfortable not to talk of attaching something to our body.

The best thing is for a snoring guy to find a snoring lady, case closed😀

Please don't talk too much. Let them travel and see... Their body go tell them. For all those using fake block accounts to cheat the system and get visa, all you eyes go soon clear!!

Anybody that comes into the UK this 2024 should be given a royal welcome 😀

Please guys manage your expectations o, we that are already here are the ones that can tell you how it is, don't let anybody Bobo you that they got job within so so so days of coming to the UK…the fact is that does it sort out their expense and is the job even regular

The funniest thing is that the Britons who pay lower school fees than us can not even afford it in a year! can you imagine? Their government have to support them with loans which they start paying when they start working.

So with this era of no form a/mad exchange rate how do you that is coming from a 3rd world West Africa country think you want to make that money in a year without breaking rules and over stressing yourself.

It is well…if you are coming to Hull you can send a PM I can give you some tips for soft landing and help you with some links when you are here

Bro, don't borrow money to come to UK most doesn't end well, except from family who can easily understand ur plight and who will be patient, the grass is not always green at the other side.

Travel / Re: Japa Or Stay In Nigeria by olola4(m): 8:43pm On Jan 15

I'm in need of such, though I'm not going to UK but Romania. Check ProConnect Education or EduFin Micro Finance Bank

Romania ke...Nigeria is better than Romania or almost the same, most Romania are here in the UK doing warehouse and factory work.

Travel / Re: With The Current Rate Of Japa, Is Poverty Rate Exaggerated In Nigeria? by olola4(m): 1:03pm On Nov 26, 2023
Keep decieving yourself grin
When you're done decieving yourself you go go sleep grin

An average Nigerians cannot afford 3 square meal daily
An average Nigerians cannot afford a bag of rice presently
An average Nigerians doesn't have a car which ought to be a necessity
An average Nigerians doesn't have access to quality healthcare
An average Nigerians doesn't have access to clean water
An average Nigerians children below 7 are malnourished
Take this to the bank

Nigeria has a very large population that’s why the average ones as you have said are overshadowing others but I will tell you also for a fact that there are rich and comfortable people in Nigeria compared to other country.

This is a very big argument and I can say that proverty rate is really exaggerated.

The rate at which people are making millions in Nigeria is mind blowing and no where in the world do people make such money in savings even in UK, Canada and US.

Visa Alert!!! 🥂🥂🥂

Its being a really longggggggggg way coming. A little back story...
Initially for Jan 23 Admission
Application in August 22
Unconditional admission - Sept 22
Tuition deposit - Oct 22
Nov 22 - School said my payment came late so no more CAS
School gave me option to defer admission or ask for refund. Decided to defer to Sept (seemed like a long wait😞)

Fastforward to 2023
POF - 18th May to 15th June (29days)

Application 16th June - The day Oanda rate shoot up unexpectedly - I was so confused & wished I paid exactly when POF was 28 days matured. Luckily I had other accounts which met the UKVI requirements and decided to use it alongside.

Bio (MA and Dep.) - 20th June (VI TLS, Standard, Flexi appointment)

Received by DMC (MA and Dep.) - 21st June

Empty NSF (MA only) - 21st June

1 Paid mail done, response was application awaiting decision

Moved to VAC (MA and Dep.) - 4th July

Received by VAC (MA and Dep.) - 4th July

Collection Mail (MA and Dep.) - 4th July

BRP mail (MA and Dep.) - 5th July

Passport received today - 5th July

Documents submitted
*TB Test
*WAEC and First Degree (As stated on CAS)
* 3 SOA, same name - NGN, USD and GBP, thanks to Oanda Fluctuations
*CV, NYSC cert., Employment letters, Reference letter (8 years study gap)
*Passport Biodata Page

*TB test
*Consent to use MA POF
*Marriage Cert. & (One Pdf containing about 40 pictures ranging from wedding pictures to few chat screenshot to transfer receipt)
*Passport Biodata page

Some lessons learnt
* I was trying to use Form A to process my tuition deposit when I was running against time, I rushed to use BM at last minute but couldn't meet up the session admission. Pls do what you have to do on time and dont delay.
* Do your TB test when you are sure you will get CAS, or have gotten CAS
* While Building your POF, have some backup account that can be presented just in case
* Someone was advising me to wait for 29 days maturity of POF before applying, Ideally its not necessary, UKVI requirement is 28days. SOA can be more than 28 days, but visa application can be immediately after 28 days matured.

In all, I'm glad we are here! I learnt a lot from this platform ehn! cool
You'll definitely have all the information here to apply and without using any agent. I did DIY.

To all prospective UK students. Congratulations in Advance.
This testimony will go round.
Thanks to everyone committed to answering questions here. @duchess90, @mimilyrics et al.
Special thanks to olola4, it's time to share coke for everyone! 😀

I have been given a conditional offer at the university of hull. And I have been asked to submit my student transcript and waec result and scratch card

1. Can I upload my student copy of my transcript or do I have to ask my school to send it to them
2. I only have online printing of waec result can I submit that or do I have to apply for the waec certificate

1. You can upload your student copy
2. You can use your online printout with the scratch card to get your unconditional offer but prepare to present the original O'Level result (the one your secondary school will present to you) for visa application.

Please I mean Lagos here, can some tell me a genuine bureau de change. Thank you

Go inside the airport (MMIA @ Ikeja), most especially the arrival, you will be able to exchange your FX at the Bureau de change stand.

The security might not want to allow you in but tell them you want to exchange Fx , they will allow you and you will get it at a good rate.

NB: It might be risky patronizing those guys that loiter around the airport, so it’s best to go straight to their stand inside the airport building.

Since the UK Embassy verified the POF, what then happens if one has lesser amount that what was on the acct statement used for the application? I mean refunding money to source after printing statement of acct.

The money should be in your account until a decision has been made on your application.
