EducationTeach, Inspire Leave A Legacy by Ololadetobby(op): 4:27pm On Jun 24, 2025
Teach. Inspire. Leave a Legacy.”

Dear Teacher,

I know it’s not easy being a teacher.
It’s a calling that demands your time, your energy, and sometimes, your personal resources. The truth is, the pay is often low, and in some cases, school owners may owe salaries or delay payments. The appreciation we truly deserve doesn’t always come. Yes, it can be frustrating. It can feel thankless. But still don’t lose sight of the legacy you are building.

Teaching is more than a job; it’s a ministry, a mission, a molding process. Every lesson you teach, every word of encouragement you give, and every child you correct with love is a seed planted. These seeds may not grow in your presence, but they will blossom years later, in places you might never reach.

So while you are still in the classroom, build a legacy.
Make impact your goal.
Show up with excellence, not just for your school, but for the children whose lives you are shaping. Let your name echo in the stories of students who rise because of your influence.

Don’t wait for the perfect school or perfect salary to give your best. Give it now. Because what remains at the end of your teaching journey is not the pay slip, but the people you touched, taught, and transformed.

And years from now, when one of your students becomes a doctor, a leader, a world-changer, and they say, “It all began with my teacher…”then you’ll know: you didn’t just teach.
You built a legacy.

Stay strong. Stay committed. Stay impactful.
The future is shaped by people like you.

With admiration,
A Fellow Educator Who Understands

Dearie, some families don't earn up to what you are earning but they are living very fine.

It's all about cash management.

Cut your coat according to your size sir, don't live above your budget. Plan yourself very well. Adjust to the new change. Above all learn money management skills. The amount for your rent still amaze me.
