goldfish80:
The solution is simple. Put me on to plane to Russia. Na wetin you wan hear abi?
Bants aside, the team needs reinforcement through the spine.
The attack needs to be beefed up.
A solution must be found for Kelechi and Musa's predicament. They must be made to understand they dont have automatic shirt in the team. If they understand this, they will certainly tast their agents to search for solutions for them this winter transfer Window Exactly what I told some guys here No automatic shirt for anyone |

forgiveness: Klose had teared the net with double digit goals for two seasons prior to the WC and started 24 league matches out of 25. In short, injuries hindered his season.
So, no bi because of anything em no play, unlike some players wey dey chop bench unnecessary. Abi ooooo How can one compare Klose to Nacho, such a huge mismatch |

safarigirl: so, what is this?
Just drop the argument before you confuse yourself more than you are already confused Yes he can go to Russia to watch football but if he continues to warm bench and stand he's going to Russia to watch not to play No one is confused here cuz this is a simple fact |

Certitude: Do you really believe Nacho will not be going for the World Cup? Perhaps if he gets injured before then... With the comments here, some of you go get high BP after the final list. Yes if he continues sitting out matches and missing out in the squad No one will get high bp except him if he fails to work harder and pick up the pace |

TheGoodJoe: The best in camp goes. Those in good mental and physical ability should do better than Nacho in camp. If they cannot, Nacho flies to Russia.
Finito. You guys are getting this thing wrong No one is saying he should not go to Russia and he should not wait until he gets to the camp b4 he knows his fate. His game time will go a long way to give him an edge when he gets to the camp except our camp is filled with below average players. Nacho is a bundle of talent but presently he's sliding down the ladder. QED |

jihday: I'll disagree with this your analogy, Klose was neither a starter nor tearing the net in the run up to the 2014 World Cup, but he still attended anyway because he's been part of the setup and one of the coach's most trusted players Nacho is still young can you compare him to Klose of years of experience? He needs game time for mental and physical ability he cannot dwell on past glory he's gradually sliding down and some newbies on this thread think irrespective of his present form he should be handed a shirt cuz he scored a million goals b4 now |

safarigirl: this is such a silly thing to say. Sometimes, people on this thread make some comments that make you want to insult them.
What kind of rubbish talk is that? So, it was only that friendly Kelechi scored in? He doesn't have 8 goals in 14 games for Nigeria? You wiped that from you memory to make some useless point?
And it is me that is taking things personal
Like I said, please, do not watch any of our games during the World Cup because Kelechi is on our team, in that period, you can occupy yourself watching YouTube highlights of Martins games in China since you want to see Martins play so badly.
Internet coach....you love Nacho indeed Unfortunately you are the one making immature silly comments for reasons best known to you So cuz the guy scored 1million goals b4 he should be included in the team even if he's warming bench and fans stand every week? How sensible is this thought of yours? I will not insult you but seem you very saucy and uncultured for all the nonsense you said up there. Some people will lose out on WC and Nacho is on that path except he works harder in his club or move out on loan for game time. Please I did not make my comments so you can say rubbish to me if you are not happy about my opinion please skip it and never insult me in your life! I will not say anything further to you on this matter |

jihday: you talking like our team is littered with players playing for PSG Barcelona and Madrid That's not the point A player that fails to regularly play or named in the squad cannot make any meaningful impact in the WC We don't need players from barca or psg but we need players that are in form which makes tactical work easier for the coach |

AIG07: look, club performance puts players in the spotlight and gives them the necessary recognition.
Have you ever wonder why some players keep getting call ups despite under performing in their clubs? Spain kept inviting Torres even while performing abysmally for Chelsea. Fabregas was always one of the first name on the list despite not having enough playing time with Chelsea. That's one country as an example. Do you know while their coach kept faith with them-it was because he knew that they'll deliver. Marcos Alonso has been phenomenal for Chelsea since last year. Do you know what? He is still hoping for his First invitation.
If I'm too tow your line of proposition, every player that comes to the spot light(is in form) should be invited ba? You can't have a national team by inviting all players base on their club performances alone or else you'll only be having new sets of players to execute each match...
Even Rohr knows this. That's while he has been inviting Musa, Onazi before he moved to Turkey, Moses Simon etc. Onyekuru has been having Stellar performances consistently for his clubs but still he has only been having epileptic call-ups.
To cut the story short, club performance is one thing and replicating it in the national team is another. Please help me tell them, they seem to be oblivious of this simple fact |

safarigirl: Rohr is only concerned with the form his players are in for the team he manages.
You can be in good form and be warming bench, if in doubt, ask Mikel Obi.
It is you who needs to stop being emotional and crying on social media over a decision that isn't yours to make You seem to take this thing too personal Stop the cry and think it through Nacho is losing form so fast by warming the bench and not making the squad and in your all knowing wisdom you think he will be a WC star? I love Nacho but if he fails to keep a place in the first 11 in Leicester not ManU, ManC, Liverpool of Tot then I don't see the magic he can pull to make impact in the WC Oba goal plays week in week out in China and to you Nacho should be selected ahead of him cuz he scored in a friendly Oba was not invited Sis playing week in and out improves you but if you do not you lose form, did you see Ibra today? True the decision is Rohr's but he needs to jettison sentiments in his selections. We need the best legs for the WC not bunch of bench warmers |

safarigirl: na you be the coach wey go drop am before World Cup abi?
If you like don't watch World Cup when he goes to Russia. You cannot be in good form by warming bench and not being named in the squad Rohr should not be sentimental about his choice |

TheGoodJoe: When our players enter camp for the Friendlies, let us see if those who are playing regularly will outperform Nacho in camp. If they do not, then Nacho is heading to Russia. It is about quality at the end. Bro he cannot warm bench and think of a place in WC for that competitive position |

Match preview Did you know? Newcastle United have won only three points from their last 57 available in the Premier League against Manchester City (W0 D3 L16), though their draw last time out ended a run of 12 consecutive defeats against them. Only Manchester United (13 against Wigan Atlhetic) have ever had a longer winning run against the same opponent than Man City’s recent run of 12 v Newcastle. If Manchester City avoid defeat they will set a new club record of 20 unbeaten league matches against a specific opponent. Sergio Aguero has scored in each of his last five PL matches against Newcastle (nine goals in total). He has never scored in six consecutive PL matches against an opponent.
