I actually sent it ‘cos the I noticed that it was the same day they requested the “explanation” that the BRP letter was issued. So they might actually need it for record purpose. Who knows!

Do you advice I still send the “explanation letter” they requested for the child? I also did affidavit then will support with other docs to proof wife’s name.

Hi bro, deadline never reach, 4days more or so. We are picking up the passports tomorrow. Collection emails dropped this evening.

We were about submitting the requested explanation letter and affidavit, then we decided to track the application with the other child without additional document requests.

Boom! We saw application transferred to VAC without sending additional documents requested. Note Father and Mother got their visa already.


Question is, can we proceed to submit the documents (letter to explain) as requested with the affidavit that we did?

I also think the Prefix to the name is not all that matters… as her second name wasn’t included in the birth certificate.

Do you get my point? The SECOND CHILD didn’t get email for additional docs. So I think they are cool with the prefix OLUWA. it’s the second name that wasn’t included is what I think they wanted explanation for.

What do you think?

Though both will be addressed in the affidavit?

U need cover note....to explain that tobi na just short form of oluwatobi...and sometimes people write it when they need to fit names into small spaces...which is also the reason the second name (mariam was not added)

Sworn afidavit from an High cour. that she's one and same person....state both names

Tobi mariam johnson

And u might need to get another birth certificate from NPC that reads tobi mariam johnson...

I think it's best for them to get and submit a new NPC birth certificate that would reflect the name on the visa application form but you have to do something about the issue date oo

Birth certificate was submitted at first.. check their response in my previous post.

They only asked for “EXPLANATION” as to why the variation in names. Doing what you suggested will complicate things, my opinion.

Plus the other child has the full mother’s name on his birth certificate. It’s just this one child that the mothers second name wasn’t included.

I was the one that came for advice about my brother’s (dependent partner) children who sent a photocopy of birth certificate for his 2 children.

We sent the colored birth certificate on Wednesday. My brother’s BRP dropped today but surprisingly they requested for additional documentation from one of the kids.

Find attached what they asked….

The mother’s second name is not on the birth certificate for this one child but it’s on the second child, guess that’s why they didn’t ask additional documentation for him.

Note:

Name as appeared on Intl Passport and VAF (Visa application Form): TOBI MARIAM JOHNSON

Name as appeared on Birth Certificate: OLUWATOBI JOHNSON

I know you are trying to be careful and that's why you now know exactly what to do but you are still looking for the answer in A..B..C.
I have told you to scan the coloured and then attach it with that Court Affidavit and a cover NOTE. Chikina!! W go click.

In that Note, simply tell them why you get the cert 2months after. (Apply Occam's Razor) no too talk

Scan or snap the original....
If he can get hospital records and school record thats great.......it will add credibility to it....especially if the birth certificates were recently collected at a date significantly far from when the children were born

Yeah. I just checked mine now. The top left side logo of my child npc which was uploaded for ukvi was Green which points to the fact that it was original that was uploaded. And this time. Rescan the colored copy and also include the hospital birth cert that ure given . I believe those two details will help sort out ur case. And goodnews follow by God grace.

Use camscanner app to scan all your documents . It's really great. And better than those bizness center scanner sef .

They are two, one has hospital birth certificate and the other don’t. I think I should just submit the scanned NPC birth certificate for both to avoid unnecessary questions as to why not submit hospital for the other.

I now understand what u are experiencing. It always afrect those who get a npc cert that is not really issued at the exact day of birth or after few months. Ukvi always question such as to the reason why such a child was born in January and u got an npc cert of maybe November or some years lag. They need you to prove more evidence that truly the cild was yours. I used same for my baby aswell and no nsf email cos the npc cert was issued the same month she was given birth to. And my wife sef, nah court affidavit she submitted for a her birth cert. And no nsf mail.

The birth certificate was issued two month after birth. I think the mistake here is , which’ @advanceDNA pointed out. A photocopy was submitted instead of a scanned copy. I attached the copy that was submitted snd the letter sent.

Now I want to know if a scanned copy should be submitted alone.

I only submit affidavit, I don't have Birth Certificate at all.

If they have doubts, they shouldn't doubt Court Oat.

The one sent to you on here was the exact one that was presented (scanned as sent to you in black and white).

Yes it has green circle at the middle and national population council commission water mark on it as green.

So do you suggest a colored copy should be sent to them?

.if u its newly collected...pple usually back it up with birth certificates from hospitals, local goverment, or other maternity homes where the child was born......

If u are in doubt...can u post the birth certificate and color out the vital information. So we can be sure which one u have

You know what? There is NPC on the birth certificate he got from the local government. That’s why I said NPC birth certificate.

At this point....u can only resubmit it perhaps the ECO ddnt see it in the attachment....

Add hospital records if u have them..

..then do a cover note stating that u have already submitted the birth certificates with tge TLS attachment.... that they should further clarify the request.

I have attached the letter from the home office. The birth certificate be submitted was the one from Local government.

As for the hospital records, he can’t find any but he can get the immunization docs

Did u submit certificates from national population council ?? If not, go and get NPC birth certificates.
..if u can get other documents like hospital records where they birthed ......please do so..

. school records can also help... kids starts kindergarten as early as 2 years...this can also help give ceredible reference to when they were born....

the uk is tightening conditions for minor travel now cos of the pple trafficking their house maids and using them as free child minders...
