TravelRe: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by olu101: 10:30am On Apr 19, 2023
Good morning everyone, trust you are good.

Please I need an urgent assistance / advice. My brother applied with his two kids (dependents) - applied for dependent visa.

They got an email yesterday from the home office asking for a valid birth certificate.

Note: they provided birth certificate for both, which was issued 2 months after their birth.

What can they do in this situation to prove the birth certificates are valid?

The wife got her visa already 2weeks ago (Main Applicant)

@advanceDNA and all other people who know about this, pls help.

Hello everyone, pls help...

Bet9ja gave me 3k free sport bonus.

I stake 1k on odds over 120, I didn’t win, stakes another 1k on odd over 100 or so lost again...

Last 1k, I staked and won 90k. Will they allow me withdraw?

Or do I need to stake 3k twice again - win or lose? will they allow me withdraw?

You will get the code when you get vaccinated in cyprus after quarantine.
Thanks so much for you help.

So as it is now...

- Pay 750 tl
- Get my PCR don in Naija
- and fill the Adapass

Right?

Do I need to print anything from the Adapass?
Will I get a bar code after paying 750tl

If you are not vaccinated, pay the quarantine fee of 750 tl and travel with your valid PCR test result. Get proof of payment.

When you are coming to TRNC for the first on the adapass website, it ask you a question if you are visiting Cyprus, when you select YES, fill the entry form that’s enough together with the above.
Okay that’s what I will do as I am not vaccinated, thank you.

But one thing is, if you select YES on the adapass right, while filling the form you will get to a stage you will be asked for vaccine certificate number or code, if you say No.., and yes for PCR test and include pcr code... you won’t get the desired QR code And the confirmation page that will include your name and all information filled to print out as evidence. All you will get is a generic response that you can enter TRNC etc

Okay thanks for your help . Okay I’m not vaccinated that means I do not need the Adapass right. But you further stated that I should fill the Adapass.. that got me confused. Pls clarify this, don’t be offended pls.
In addition, in the FAQ section I got this... I think that’s the reason for it not generating the QR code needed at the last stage for TRNC entrance. Cos one needs to upload the vaccinated certificate aswell as PCR

What do you think

The instructions stated that app should be used not website kindly follow the instructions.

If you have not been vaccinated, you don’t need ada pass code. Adapass code is for those that have been vaccinated.

Fill the Guv app, pay the fee of 750 tl, get payment receipt, fill the adapass. Travel, show them bar code for the payment your tracking will need activated via the app upon arrival at Ercan airport in TRNC.

Download the Guvendel Kal and follow the on screen steps on the app.

If you can be vaccinated before travel that’s fine otherwise you will need the PCR test results that is valid before arrival.
Thank you very much. I appreciate!

My travel date is still on the 20th but my cousin whose travel date is less than 72hrs trying to sort his. He uploaded the PCR but check NO for the vaccine but it won’t generate the QR CODE.

However, we tried to put some random information on the form included a random PCR and vaccine code and it generated QR CODE.

Note: we use the Guvendel Kal website and not the app- it’s easier to use.

Please advice further

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by olu101: 8:24am On Jan 09, 2020
Good morning, my advice to you based on my experience as a frequent traveler who have never abused his VISAS, and this is about the salary you pay yourself. (NOTE: have done the below severally on my visa renewals).

This is it, since you do not have a stable salary right. I will advice you do a brief explanation stating in your cover/introduction letter and the section for additional infor in your form that - you do not have a stable income and the money you pay yourself every month is based on your profit for each financial month.

However, I believe the above advice is reasonable enough and that’s what most self employed people do! In your case, I want to believe that’s what you do every month as your salary is not fixed.

@olu,you are not good to go from a personal experience (my elder brother),all of you including the new born should take a trip together even if its to Rwanda, kenya or Ghana cos that question will arise.my brother, wife and son has good travel history, when they applied(the first time) with their new born(4 months old)they were refused on the ground that, they have not (all) travel as a family, they went Rwanda,(7 days) in May,reapplied again in September and visa was granted one hand.
Thank you for your input, I really do appreciate. Please have you gone through my original post? I'm asking just incase you might have other advice.

Good evening everyone, I trust all is well.

I will like to run my situation with everyone and hoping to get advice.

I am a frequent traveller (Visitor) to the U.K since 2007 - my mum lives there. At some point I went for my masters Degree and also got a post study visa (2yrs work permit). In 2014 I moved back to Nigeria and I got married in 2015. My wife and I applied for US visa and we were denied. Tho her passport carries her dad's surname at the time- not sure that's a reason for the refusal.

Got pregnant in 2017 and we decided she should go give birth in the US , which she applied and was refused.

Fast forward, she travelled with our son (4months old) to Dubai in Jan 2018. I didn't go with them as I was busy with my business. Late 2018 , we all applied for U.K. visitors visa and we were granted. In addition, I have been to SPAIN aswell (I went alone from U.K.).

To my main question, now we have another baby and we all plan to apply for US visa again, do you think we have a good history now to get the US visa?

However, my wife sells Fashion wears - men, women and kids and I am into Media and Entertainment Business. Though I didn't apply with this business when I first applied, I used a business electronic business (which I stopped few years ago to focus on on my media and entertainment business).

This is my story, please advice and also suggest which way to go.

Thank you everyone!

Hello, I have not been on here for awhile.

Thank you so much for your advice. God bless.

Adiahabasi:
No harm in trying, give it your best shot. Be honest and sraightforward. Being denied a US visa doesn't automatically mean you'll be denied a Canadian visa, just show your strong ties to Naija and be honest.
Seems the paper route currently has a faster processing time.

Good morning everyone.

Please i need advice based on my family application.

I am a frequent traveller to the UK (currently have 2yrs visa) and my wife and child (a year old) have 6months UK visa which is still a virgin. We plan travelling before Dec tho.

However, we intend applying for Canada tourist visa after we return from our UK trip.

My question, CAN WE DO A PAPER ROUTE OR ONLINE ROUTE? WHICH IS BETTER FOT OUR STORY?

Also, my wife and I once applied for US visa 3 yrs ago before the birth of our child(We were refusef) and she applied for child birth visa term as medical (she was refused). Hearing Canada and America are sister country, I HOPE BEING REFUSED AN AMERICAN VISA WONT AFFECT OUR CHANCE OF GETTING THE CANADIAN VISA?

Thank you and I look forward for your advice, God bless.

Hello, has she scheduled an appointment already?

Option 1: If yes, I think she has to go with the hotel accommodation she booked

Option 2: if no, then she can re-fill another form entirely with the information she intend using and let go of the first one.

Option 3: However, I also *Think* one can cancel an appointment after one is made, this is if you have made one then re-fill the form and book another appointment. (You have to confirm this option 3 from someone else as I am not too sure)

I hope this helps.
Cheers

Thank you KaptainAfrika... in response to your questions:
1: 2015 was out first application to the US and we didn't use an agent in the applications we've made
2: I have a wife and i have a media (Tv content developer) and entertainment business and registered - which is doing well (however that was not the business I was doing in 2015 when I applied)
3: Yes I understand your point
4: I only use my uncle as contact in our application in 2015 only. To be sincere, I am not sure how he got into the US. There is no way to even ask him now as we are not in good terms.

Please advice more.... Thank you so much.

KaptainAfrika:
1. Have you or you wife apply before October 2015? and if so, did you use an agent in filling your form? if you did, did you ensure that information was truthful?
2. What are your ties to Nigeria? Do a self-assessment.
3. No one looks at your documents.
4. If you included your uncle as a contact in your form, do you know how he got into the US?

Good Afternoon Everyone.

Trust we are all having a good day!

I need an advice... I applied for US visiting visa with my wife in Oct 2015 and we were refused. Then my uncle invited us.

Fastward to this year. My wife applied alone for Medical visa (to give birth) in June and was refused.

My question...
I have travelled to the UK and currently have a valid visa, I have been to Spain, Ghana, Togo and Benin Rep.

I intend applying alone now cos my wife is heavily pregnant.

I have some family issue with my uncle so he won't be inviting me this time... so I am thinking of getting my friend to invite me or book an hotel accomodatoon.

*Will it be a problem if he is not the one inviting me this time? If it won't be a problem, .can i book hotel accommodation or get my friend to invite me.

Note
My my uncle lives in Maryland and my friend lives in Arizona.

Please advice. Thank you everyone and God bless.

Hello @AbujaNIV,

I trust you are well.

I only have my Surname and First name on my appointment confirmation sheet (that's what the system requested in the form) - Should i be worried about this?

However, i have my first name, middle name and surname in my passport as well as my DS 160 form and my GTB Receipt for visa fee.

Thank you.

Good Morning House,

I trust everyone is good.

MY CONCERN:
I only have my Surname and First name on my appointment confirmation sheet - is that a problem?? I didn't put my middle name....However, I think the section only state first name (not "given names"wink and Surname alone when filling it out.

Please do anyone know if that section is first name or given names (which however include middle name?)

Please i want to know if this wont be a problem at the embassy or was i right with the information provided?

I look forward to your answers.

Thank you and God bless.

Also, when i am ready to apply, what visa category should i apply for?

Yes, where it says "what type of visa are you applying for?", choose B, then it shows you further option of B1 or B2, medical is B2. Then of course, for contact in the US, put in the hospital address.
Thank you so much... Please, can you advice me on this aswell. my wife and i will be applying at different date. She is going before me (childbirth) and I will be going later after a month cos am in Benin for business.
After she create her own account and apply, can I register my own details and apply through her own portal or I need to create my own account separately?
