Does anyone know if University of Wolverhampton has started receiving applications for September intake?I tried applying for mres Public Health but I'm seeing application closed.

I have some questions,

1.Here are 2 profiles(Couples)

Male;
Veterinary Doctor
4 years experience
Above 30years

Female;
Medical Doctor
Fresh out of School
29years

Who amongst the two has a better chance in the express entry pool?

2.Which ECA evaluates Veterinary medicine degree?

3.Can they apply separately as Main Applicants?In other words,can each of them open separate profiles and apply as Main applicants?

Clearly, there was an error in the visa officer's submission. Did your sister state that she intends to spend GBP 12,000 on her trip?

Also, with a balance of 4M, it was unlikely she would get the visa. She will need at least 3million for her trip - which will technically wipe out the majority of the money in her account.

I suggest she goes back to the drawing board and start building her account for at least 6 months.

If she can travel to another Country, that would help with travel history.

Thanks for the response.The 12,000usd was the liquidated fixed deposit which she planned to augment the 4million naira for the trip.She planned to travel with her 2kids.

I booked appointment immediately after the payment was successful. In other words, the approval email came after I had booked an appointment for enrollment. I chose the Ikoyi office for enrollment

I'm confused...thought you can only book an appointment after getting an approval mail. I'm quite sure about this because I did 2 applications on the 29th,1 for myself and boy.My boy got his approval mail a week after and it was after he got the approval mail that I chose an appointment date.

I applied for renewal of my passport on the 30th of August to beat the price hike which would take effect on September 1. I uploaded the documents required which does not include application letter and immediately proceeded to book a date for enrollment. I got my approval email exactly a week afterwards.

Did you get the approval mail before booking for appointment? What state did you apply from?

Receive approval mail before the biometric. Approval mail enables you to proceed to book appointment for biometric.
Check your spam folder.

I have checked my spam folder but there's no approval mail,actually,i applied for passport renewal but didn't upload an application letter as I didn't see where it was required..I was only required to upload data page of my expired passport... Could this be the reason for the delay?

Based on the upward review of the fees for the Nigerian passport effective from 1st September 2024, 32-page Passport booklet with 5 year validity previously charged at thirty-five thousand naira (₦35,000) is now fifty thousand naira (₦50,000) only; while 64-page passport booklet with 10 year validity which was seventy thousand naira (N70,000) is now one hundred thousand naira (N100,000) only.

Well done Ekitimanalways....I made payment for my passport renewal on 29th August and submitted same day., I'm yet to go for capturing....please how long does it take to be given an appointment....

Hi. My sis and her kids did biometrics on the 8th of August and they were all granted their visas yesterday the 30th. I did invite her. They will be staying with me so I wrote a letter of invitation stating they will be staying with me. She will be sponsoring their trip but I will be supporting with £1,000 in addition to the accommodation and feeding which I mentioned in the letter.
As regards cover letter. She wrote only one detailed covered letter introducing herself and explaining the job she does (lawyer). She also explained that she can do private practice while employed under her principal. The income from the private practice serves as additional income that we also included in the application. On her bank statement, she highlighted her salary in one colour and income from her private practice in another colour with lots of evidence backing it up e.g receipts and copies of agreements etc.
other things she submitted that may be useful to your sisters application are:
Letter of consent from the children’s father, and his passport data page
Kids school results and letter of introduction from their school
My own birth certificate plus hers. and lots of pictures that we took together to show relationship.
Note: They are first time applicants

Every explanation should be included in the applicant's Cover Letter. In addition to that, she can reiterate the financial explanations in the extra space provided at the end of the application.

If the applicant is getting an Invitation Letter from her sister, she should be sure to include her birthday certificate and/or pictures for proof of relationship.

If she's visiting a family member in the UK for vacation and she plans to stay with that family member, then I believe it will be better for her to get an invitation letter from that family member so she can use that to support her visa application.

If she knows that her financial situation will not be easily understood by a third party, then it will be wise for her to explain it in the application or through a letter.

@cashmadam,Ashirioluwa....Please,my sister is planning to travel to the UK to visit our younger sister...she plans to travel with her kids.I want to ask if she needs an invitation letter from her sister in the UK even though she's sponsoring herself.
Secondly,does she need to write a separate letter explaining her financial details(Statements of accounts) as she has a registered business .

Wait a bit more for the approval mail to be received by you. Technical glitch is one of the reasons why approval mail takes time...
