Politics › Biafrans Please Help Me Answer These Questions by OlugbengaE(op): 7:06pm On Jun 13, 2017 |
Igbos do not want one Nigeria But they are the most traveled and the most accomplished tribe in Nigeria. They have businesses allover Nigeria, yet they want Biafra. Close to half of igbos live outside the south east region. 1.Do you need to have Biafra before you leave hostile regions MOST ESPECIALLY NORTH? 2.If you have Biafra will they stop killing Igbos in the North? 3 Why are Igbos still in the north despite the fact that they kill them? 4 Why do igbos travel and settle allover the country and still want Biafra. 5 Why are Igbos angry over the call for them to leave the North?
PLS I DO NOT INTEND TO FIGHT ANYBODY |

jayooh: Yes ke. Thought I told you. What's that gotta do? If you are a new driver Uber charges you 10k for psychometric evaluation. This week they deducted N8510 from the 10k because you must have paid 1490 in the previous week. Uber does not roll over the deduction once you have excess in your account. |

You can't just exonerate romeo3. He is either a representative of uber here or an outright fool. We stated from the beginning that this new Uber attitude is anti partners.
He called us names. He abused Taxify and vow never to register on Taxify calling those on Taxify, uber rejects.
Now is it not clear that Uber is greedy and care less about their partners.
People who under normal circumstances will not necessarily invest in transport business did so because of Uber and now uber is ruining their investments.
He made Taxify a no option for newbies and now he's talking about joining Taxify.
In 2015 people bought virtually new cars for Uber now they will compete with 2000 cars.
It's only in Nigeria people dont talk about working hours.Your health is not just about you alone it has effect on others. If you overwork and fatigued, you could sleep off on steering have accident and kill yourself or others.
Its called Health Safety and Environment(HSE) or Occupational Health.
To newbies who still want to go ahead register on all the apps and be online on all of them. Dont listen to Romeo3 sermon about taxify. You can have all the apps running at the same time. Cheers. Olugbenga E |

honmusa: It doesn't worth such investment cos maintance of 2012 corolla will be much more than kia 2003 or corolla 2003 which are readily accepted by uber. It is a bigger risk considering what is obtainable from uber right now. THEY ACCEPT 2000 CARS NOW

it's all about me. if i have to clash uber and taxify and ogataxi and smartride and lyft and all of them, my 150k no go short.
this week i have only made about 32k on uber. the rest has been offline. my target remains the same.
i dont care about uber or taxify. i care about money. by the time you can understand that about me, you will stop stressing yourself over me. confirmed no need to drag with you again as you are now ready to chop your vomit |

OlugbengaE: The era of SUVs are over for Uber/Taxify Nigeria. The profit margin is not that much as such can no longer accommodate such cars. The best cars for Uber are Corolla, civic and prius. UberX in yankee has alot of crossover SUV and fuel is not an issue. Soon Uber will start accepting cars from 1999(pencil light here it comes) from 2003 because they are now competing with kabukabu Orobo Camry 1996 and and 1987 Santana This was my post on 21st of May |

honmusa: sorry to bust your bubble ,engine temperature sensor doesn't control the fan neither the fans are controlled by thermostat. ECU controls the fans .thermostat is purely a mechanic device and works independent .U have alot to learn .
"He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool; avoid him. He who knows not and knows that he knows not is a student; teach him. He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep; wake him. He who knows and knows that he knows is a wise man; follow him."" (Chinese proverb ) You sha wan talk sha. The ecu works by interpreting readings from what? From itself abi. All you said is non of my concerns. No need to digress. All I have to tell you Mr Professor mechanic is offing AC when Engine is hot doesn't mean the fans with die. Shikena. Don't assume you know my car more than me dont assume any Kazeeem has tampered with my car. I believe in romeo3 reasons than yours |

honmusa: lol , bros fans are not designed to worked perpetually if the AC has not been been switched on ,the fan will only come on at a certain temperature threshold eg for Toyota ,the fan come on at 96 degree and will subsequently goes off after the temperature has been reduced to 90 degree and this circle continue. But the reason you see fans of average Nigerian working continuously is due to crude work of illiterate Nigerian rewire that has ignorantly tampering with the wiring system becos they feel that is a cure for overheating which is not so . The effect a continuous runing fan will have on your engine are listed below ; 1.Higher fuel consumption cos engine temperature will fall short of manufacture operating temperature standard 2.Engine will soon start to emitting white smoke from tailpipe this is due to the fact that oil lubrication has been compromised causing tear and wear within the engine moving part . 3.Alternator will soon fry up sooner than expected as the continuous working fan will always be demanding much more current from the alternator 24/7 which can eventually destroy it. 4.Runing temperature lower than desired standard will damage the catalystic converter as the car is running rich ,more carbon will be dumped into the catalystic converter corrupting the expensive material. If you fan is working 24/7,try to get it corrected to manufacturer standard to avoid all these issue above, most importantly your engine is at risk .check below for further discussion on this same subject.
https://www.nairaland.com/712502/there-advantage-disconnecting-car-engine#8747272
https://www.nairaland.com/3729134/let-discuss-cooling-system-overheating. Did you read what I said at all? Because you don't need all this epistle. If you drive around your fan will come on and off. whether you put ac on or not. Dont assume everybody is a novice. I never said fan running continously. I said everything depends on temperature. My cars fans are controlled by thermostat which reads the engine temperature and it has not been tampered by any Kazeem. Basically what I was saying is if your engine temperature is high and thermostat kicks in switching off the AC will not stop the fans. Some might reduce from high speed to low speed.. Chikena. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by OlugbengaE: 5:05am On Jun 04, 2017 |
honmusa: It is more about the electrical systems, ignition etc.Driving tru a pool of water while the AC is on can cause the working AC fan to splash water onto the electricals system and cause short-circuit. Your engine can also well shutdown due to ignition issue. Hence putting off the AC at that time will safe you against such disaster as your fan will be off. But fans work whether AC is on or not na, everything depends on the temperature |

but right now i do 10 trips at a stretch because the next trip is always waiting for me.
the people talking nonsense about uber right now on this thread are people who have never driven undervthe new system.
the are calculator pressing specialists... they will sit behind a calculator and dream up numbers and permutate what they think would happen.
they will never speak from experience.
you should pay them no heed. Ok. you are right. Uber did well reducing the fare by 40%. Now romeo3 makes more money. |

nitigriti: Just so we know, the Math in this youtube video doean't add up. Figures can be manipulated in any way to tell any story. Here's another set of figures I happen to be conversant about. This dude in my estate started out on Uber with a Toyota Yaris, hire purchase - #1.2 million. He paid up fully in 10 months; sold the Yaris for #1.4 million and bought a 2009 Camry which he uses now. Let's not forget that he was also able to pay his bills in those 10 months. So how do we cast this true story in the light of this youtube math? My point is this - if you really understand what you are doing, you can be well ahead in this Uber business ... trust me Pls ask that guy in your compound how market now after the 40 % drop. |

cheers Lol I am only doing you a favor. Since you dont know your worth. When people went on strike you called them lazy because they rejected exploitation. Someone who was grossing 180k per week is now lazy because he rejected Uber Exploitation. If we didnt have people like you on the surface of the earth Uber would have adjusted there fares. |

Romeo3: To those of you uber drivers who think you can talk to uber riders any how and cancel their trip for a cancellation fee of 750, one of you has just been suspended for 3 months.
now he will be joining the other uber rejects on taxify and making life even harder for taxify and it's platform with over populated drivers. What is your problem with people on Taxify and Taxify. You think if everybody is on Uber you will make the sweat money you make. You just like to talk with your anus. Go and take immodium for your mouth diarrhea. A bad driver is a bad driver. And i was really looking forward to this You can make more than that if you work like romeo3 ie accpet all trip and work about 14 hrs every day |

Etfash: Truthfully, so many may have planned to either drive on or put a car on Uber. Your comments and those of many will greatly deter those set of people. Romeo3 has been doing exactly the opposite with valid evidence. Now, pointing out the weak and not-so-good aspects is good, as it will help one manage one's expectations; but, you shouldn't shield real knowledge of the other from being made known. Get it clearly. Uber used to be very profitable but it's not anymore. Let us say before, if you drive for 10 hrs you make 25k now to make 25k you need to drive for 18hrs. You still make money but.... most people who started when Uber first came have pulled out of Uber. See a friend of mine needed a nanny. Her budget was 35k she got 4,but all them were saying 45k to 50k they were determined not to take less she had to pay 45k. Uber reduced fares alot of people were against it. Uber should have found a common ground with their partners but because we had no common voice. Nothing was achieved If you have cash problems, Uber is for you. |
