It would be nice to see this kind of builds in nigeria where the lifepo4 cells are arranged side by side for this kind of compact design

NSEstudent: Swap with which?
I only have two: 1. ZTE G5F (which I use and won't swap) 2. ZLT X17M with very good IDU. I can swap with this one.
I also have ZLT X17U people say it has long lasting battery. It is not mine. A friend kept it in my apartment since he couldn't get the swapped sim card working. Does your zlt have any cloud based management app for the router? |

NSEstudent:

Nice.
I would like to think that the ODU's wifi 7 capability may not be relevant since it connects via LAN. I stand to be corrected.
Since that G5FA is not well known in terms of specs, I will assume it's WIFI 6. But where that technology matters most is in the IDU.
There won't be much difference between G5F and G5FA. Because I use and like G5F, I would it to get G5FA too. But first, buy that Huawei. If I have the opportunity, I will buy the Huawei to complete the ODU stockpile. Well said The poe delivers 2.5gb and wifi 7 has nothing to do with Ethernet. Both the g5f and g5fa both use the same idu that is just wifi 5, so the wifi 7 doesn't matter for now. The Huawei is the most balanced |

Tover: This odu is one of the best,I wished I can see this one to buy., the 2.8ghz that is not working is affecting me seriously , does it use a big battery or normal one like the zlt .. hw many hours does it use Unfortunately the huawei version is scarce or not even available again. The ups is the same capacity as the zte [5000mah(×2)] I use only the odu on the ups and it lasts for more than 7hrs when fully charged. Then I have a separate ups for the idu |

Ebubemg: Guys of all the idu that comes with airtel odu, which of model is best feature wise The huawei ax3s hands down Wifi 6 and you can also create a wifi 5 network for devices that cant see wifi 6 Consumes just 12w The AI life app can be used to manage both the odu and idu, parental control, guest wifi, regualte the speed limit of each connected device, block users easily, harmonyOs connect( cloud based remote monitoring from anywhere in the world), smart diagnosis etc. |

Obviouslyblunt: Please those very familiar with this router, what model is this? And does it have any advantages over the ZLT? This is the zte the outdoor is better The indoor is wifi 5 But the indoor for zlt is wifi 6 Since the speed is capped to 50/100mbps wifi 5/ wifi 6 doesn't matter |

moremuch1: Sorry I don't understand, how can you be receiving daily data usage when the SIM is not working From my previous posts I stated that network suddenly disappears and to get it back i have to do multiple restarts and factory resets daily. If the Sim was faulty then the network shouldn't be restored right? Once it gets to evening time then it stabilizes and around 10 am the issue starts again. Sometimes when the network is restored only band 8 and 3 would be available and very slow. Note: I have another odu in the same premises and it isn't affected, I even swapped locations and the same thing still occurred after sometime. This issue started when I reached the fup last month and even after renewing my subscription it still persists.

Osyxcel: Then something is wrong with that device.
For me, the only time the statistics reset is when SIM is changed or when I reset the device (Like I inadvertently did a few days ago). Apparently I went through the system log and something like this. But I didn't press the factory reset button Please where's the button located ?

Peterlove11: All are 5G proof....The Huawei ODU/IDU seems the best. Everything changes when 6G shows up. Yes you're right but there are slight differences Huawei(zowee) uses cpe max 6, supports up to 5.4gb/s download and 500mb/s upload and supports wifi 6 and the antenna(11dbi) The zte G5f(G5 max) supports higher download and upload speed (up to 10gb/s), wifi 7 and antenna(13dbi) meaning you can select the direction you want the antenna to face. These are the two I have and I don't know anything about the zlt variants. About 6g, we haven't maximized 4g in Nigeria not to talk of 5g. The highest bandwidth I know of currently in Nigeria is mtns 1gbps which is only on their fiber network. These odu's can't be fully utilized to their limit anytime soon in Nigeria but if they were to, they are not all equal in raw specifications and performance. |

Osyxcel: You’re wrong.
You may not see it on the app, but when you log in to the admin panel, you’ll see clearly on the home page and you can still go to Tools>Statistics to see. Daily my login(on the admin panel)always resets to the default(it would ask for the default password)(it can happen multiple times daily) and when this happens, all my settings(band locks), data usage all reset. This issue has been happening from the first day I got it

Tover: What is your experience using that type of odu, I need a review from you bro, some of my frds got the odu, but the network has been so poor, but after locking to band1 the network is better than b4 Odu performance generally depends on your location( how close you're to a cell tower). The odu of the zte is future proof and overkill since the speed is just limited to 50mb/s. And also when installing any zte odu always use the zte installer app to get a good location. I also use the huawei which i prefer because of the app and can be more stable but it doesn't show your cumulative data usage. |

NSEstudent: Correct. Except if it's different for G5FA, in which case he should look at the backside or any other side of the ODU to get the IP. I also have the same g5fa that's the ip for odu He's using the ip for the indoor unit that's why he cant see the option to lock bands |
