AliEzeOlu: The thing dey shock me too walahi. What's the big deal when this is a faceless forum? Abi them think say if we see the salary, we go go their haiz to k1dn@p them or what?
Funny enough, just like you said, they display the name of the owner of the letter, which ironically, they are more supposed to hide, and conceal the salary (which they're supposed to reveal), considering the name of this thread.
Nigerians and their funny ways Sha.
Anyways, we move ✊✌️ As in, it makes no sense to me. |

erad: Which kine ignorant statement be this?
Do you expect people who leave villages to go to cities not to return to develop their villages one way or another?
Talking about life being better in the 70s and 80s is not all about modernisation, it's about mentality as well. People could sleep outside their houses without bothering about getting robbed. You could send kids on errands without worrying about kidnapping. It was a cohesive society, not the selfish one we have today. Exactly. I smh when I read his comment. |

AntiChristian: There's a thin line of difference barely noticeable economically!
Culturally, i think we were fairly better then!
Everybody dey OYO now than back then! Hmmm, my late Dad was the Accounts Manager at Thomas Wyatt, makers of Apex Mill exercise books. Memories!! |

ClassicEvilSpir: nostalgia at play. Everyone would express fond memories about the past. Same way people look back at 2014, 2010 fondly as if nonsense weren't happening then. You clearly have no inkling about what is being discussed here. |

dreamxhaser: Bro the person that post it is not being truthful.
No one on earth will leave 30 million monthly to join the military. In fact no one will leave 5 million monthly to join the military.
Kaiii, 30 million monthly is not small ooo, even in America guy.
Mind you, i am not saying you are the lier, since you mentioned it was posted in a group. But the person that post it is not telling the truth.
Don’t believe everything people say online.
Also, some people especially those in the military, health, and Nigerians Abroad will say anything just to make themselves feel good about their life decisions.
Which i am not saying their life decisions are bad, but these set of people have a sense of pride that makes them do things like this.
Edited In fact if we are to go by 2 million daily, that is 60 million monthly. Almost 40k dollars bro😁 The thing tire me o, I just dey wonder. |

LamineF: Considering his age & level in life, FIRS is not the place to go. He should be eyeing places like NCC, NSIA, NIMASA (UK posting), BOI, NNPC, NDIC, NAHCON, NUPRC, MOFI; places he can get x2-3 extra of his annum. He can as well Find a Ministry work that they'll post him to Projects with huge fundings; 2yrs is enough to power him. My candid advise Considering level, I agree, but age ?? I disagree; he said he’s close to 40 not 60. |

smartkester: DSA is like a sister to NASRDA. A decent place to work. They enjoy some allowances though. A very organised government agency maybe because it's under the Ministry of Defence. Salary is 250k for starters but like I said they have some allowances aside this Salary It’s not up to 250 for starters. |

KingClown: Lmao na small piking still dey worry you.
Most MDA's run on ss & mss scale, but for clarity sake & ease of conveyance of my message I used the level 8 SS6 is equivalent to level 8, some organisations it's even ss4.
Back to the matter to the matter at hand, like I said na small piking dey worry you.
With $70-100k you can easily passport In one of the islands.
Small children are earning cool cash legitimately, you're talking of stealing. The person I saw with the salary no pass 26yr
If you see anybody resigning from ioc to japa the person falls In these categories
1 na nepo baby 2 has worked long enough to be financially free from 9-5 and wants to do other things 3 most of them are on transfer to other countries for assignment
If you don't even know its better for you to work In IOC here than IOC in Europe. salary is the same rate. It's only US that has far higher salaries. Generally salaries in US are usually far higher than other countries. Cost of living here is very cheap. Although growth here is mixed with politics.
*Go and check many guys with families abroad, the main bread winner is here in nigeria.*
It's your japa cry that is rather overhyped. You’re very correct on the family abroad part. A friend’s wife and kids are in Canada while he’s here in Naija (PH to be precise, working in oil and gas) and goes to Canada every two months for his off breaks. |

If any has been paid then your right , this is 30 th and no alert yet anywhere...if so faac sharing affects salaries and salaries might just come late . my brother, knowledge is progressive o! In my 11 plus years working with the FG, we’ve had months where salaries were paid before faac allocation meeting o! Well, only those that know, know. I won’t reply you on this again. Peace. |

Omoluwabi4real: it just want to bring it the notice of every one, please stop asking for the salary get the job first ,if you don't like the place you turn it down is not by force.Idea of asking how much do they pay is not what you need .Get the offer first . No!! That’s your opinion! Wanting to know the salary of a place before even applying is as valid as valid can be. Pls, nobody should be shut up from asking. Ask, if we have info we will tell. That’s one basic reason why this thread was created in the first place. Period!! |
