Talking about life being better in the 70s and 80s is not all about modernisation, it's about mentality as well. People could sleep outside their houses without bothering about getting robbed. You could send kids on errands without worrying about kidnapping. It was a cohesive society, not the selfish one we have today.

Considering his age & level in life, FIRS is not the place to go. He should be eyeing places like NCC, NSIA, NIMASA (UK posting), BOI, NNPC, NDIC, NAHCON, NUPRC, MOFI; places he can get x2-3 extra of his annum. DSA is like a sister to NASRDA. A decent place to work. They enjoy some allowances though. A very organised government agency maybe because it's under the Ministry of Defence. Salary is 250k for starters but like I said they have some allowances aside this Salary

3 most of them are on transfer to other countries for assignment

Generally salaries in US are usually far higher than other countries.

You’re very correct on the family abroad part. A friend’s wife and kids are in Canada while he’s here in Naija (PH to be precise, working in oil and gas) and goes to Canada every two months for his off breaks.

Assuming faac sharing doesn't affect salaries why has salary not been paid to any parasatatal or agency of fg ? If any has been paid then your right , this is 30 th and no alert yet anywhere...if so faac sharing affects salaries and salaries might just come late .
