You need to prove your ties to the UK right now your visa expires.Cos the time you want to travel you would have concluded your program
Else they will tell you to apply in Nigeria.

If you want to apply do it when you have gotten visa approval for the masters.

I think you need to be tactical about your chances
1) Do you work in the U.K? if it's legal get a letter of employment and also permission to go on leave at that time.
2) Are you married or single? If single you need to work on your travel history....
3) I think it will be better if she can send the funds for flight and hotel so that it will reflect in your account that is if they ask to see your bank statement
4) Pray hard

As it stands you really can't show considerable ties to the UK neither to Nigeria. I really don't wanna burst your bubble but your chances are below average.

Too much money! That's unusual.

As long as you can show where the money came from, or it has been there a long time then should be no problem.
What they do not like is an account suddenly boosted with large sums.

Reason why i said so is because i am a student and i am supposed to work just for 20hrs per week (money wey dey my account big gan o) and also what about my ties back here in UK? any suggestions please?

If SHE sends a letter saying what expenses she will cover that is good for your budget.
An invitation letter on it's own does not count for much with a USA visa.
The very most important thing will be your ties to prove that you will return home after your visit.
Then your budget and available money.
