justwise:Thank you justwise for your prompt reply. She works as a pharmacist but unfortunately she lost her job just some months back. She decided to come stay with me for some months ( we are also planning for our wedding). Also note that the reason why she has been coming to Uk in time past (that was how she got her 5 years visa) is cos she does business by the side along her pharmacy job (infact she was in Uk earlier this year for 1 week)..... She can show eveidence of past receipts of goods she bought in Uk and even Dubai (this year) and even statement of account for her survival when she is coming back (if need be). If you have any more questions, please ask me and I won't hesitate to answer. |
Hi justwise and all the other gurus in the house....fantastic job you guys are doing here. My fiancée is currently in the Uk on a visit visa of 5 years. She intends to go back next year February (by that time she would have spent 5 months and some days in Uk). She then intends to come back again in April and stay for 2 months. is this legally possible? I heard there is a law for visitors visa that says that once you stay for long in the Uk, you cannot come back into the Uk until after 6 months, how true is this? I don't want to do anything that will contravene the law. Thank you. |
seunlayi:you even had to still bring APC into this matter? sighs* you need help urgently. don't bother thanking me...you are welcome. |
salsera:Thanks .... appreciate the response. |
kennycanny:Definitely bro with a smile. Thanks and God bless. |
seyewest:I am a student... i definitely will be praying hard but not a do or die affair .... dosen't really bother me. A little digression for those who would also be applying and probably having fears ....when i got my UK visa, i never thought i had get it cos i finished secondary school in 2004 and applied for visa in 2014...10 years gap doing absolutely nothing (just some menial jobs). The VO did not even bother to ask me why the gap. Just asked about the school and where i would be staying in UK. Point is try and get all your documents intact, be honest and most importantly pray hard and be confident. Don't put all your life on the Visa parol. if it works fine, if it doesn't, life continues. Gracias to evryone...one love. i will definitely come back and share my testimony ![]() |
Beniyoha01:Thanks for taking your time to respond, really appreciate. though i will still try, nothing to loose. Sometimes the impossible happens. More contributions please. |

worry359:Reason why i said so is because i am a student and i am supposed to work just for 20hrs per week (money wey dey my account big gan o) and also what about my ties back here in UK? any suggestions please?other gurus, abeg make una contribute on top my matter o. God bless you Worry359 |
worry359:Thanks worry359...i am a student in the UK, so showing too much money in my account may be a red flag don't you think? how can i also show ties to the uk because my visa expires in August and i will be renewing around July but want to go to USA in June just for about 2 weeks. i was also thinking of showing them a copy of my admission letter for my Top up here in the UK to show my ties here to the Uk? any other suggestions? Please let me also state that my brother his wife and child has been in the UK for almost 6 years now....will that serve has having a strong tie here in uk? i actually have been staying with him for almost 2 years. Thanks for your prompt response. God bless. |
Please i am also thinking of her indicating on her letter that she is the one sponsoring my ticket, feeding expenses and accommodation in the USA and also stating her relationship with me. the reason for going this route is i am trying to avoid using my account in the UK. Please house is this a good option? Please i need suggestions, contributions and even criticisms are welcomed. Thank You. cc just wise, Lady Guinevere, Seyewest and all the other veterans in the house |
Hi all, you guys are doing a fantastic job. I have been following Nairaland for years though i had to register with a new account today. Please i need your advise. I am currently in the UK doing HND (my program will finish in June and my visa expires on August this year). i am a little worried about this but i get faith...nothing dey happen (please note i intend continuing my studies in the UK by doing a Top cup course 1 year and also doing masters...will apply for visa later this year to extend my stay) A little digression ....Just of recent, my uncles wife in the USA just called and asked of me and said she wanted me to come for holidays in USA (she is a nurse with a very good salary). P.S she has been in the US for almost 25 years now and hubby has been in USA for over 30 years(hubby does not work anymore). Infact, anytime they come to naija, they always arrive in our house and all the projects they carried out in the village has always been carried out by my dad on their behalf (they trust my dad so much). she is ready to send me an invite and every necessary stuff needed so i am thinking of applying this month so as to be able to get a letter from school. Please house, are there any other documents i should tell her to send over to me? Please i know all the documents needed but i just want all the elders to help look at my case and probably tell me other things that may be needed. i need response to this urgently cos i will be asking her to send documents from the USA by next week. cc just wise, Lady Guinevere, Seyewest and all the other veterans in the house |
