A foolish man has ended up inflicting injury on himself for life after he severed his own penis because of his wife's unfaithfulness.

37-year-old Bosco Ssebagala of Nakatovu from Uganda chose to show his anger differently after he discovered that his wife was having an affair with another man. He decided to deny his wife use of his manhood forever by cutting it off with a sharp razor blade.

His mother, Zewuliya Nantamu said her son became furious after learning that his wife was seen with another man partying in a bar. Ssebagala ran to the bar to confront his wife, but when he did not find her there, he went to buy a razor blade and cut off his manhood.

He was later taken to the Kayunga Hospital but doctors were unable to reattach his manhood.

Doctors said that Ssebagala, who works as a farmer, will no longer be able to have sex.

Politics / Woman Molested During Sleep On Dubai Flight; "She Enjoyed It" Accused Said by olusegunjacobs(m): 4:10pm On Nov 04, 2015
An American woman during an Emirates flight from Dubai to New York has been molested by a middle-aged man while she was having a much needed sleep.

The woman had fallen into deep sleep after ingesting anti-anxiety medication an hour into the flight. When she woke up, Quraishi, had asked her, “whether she had a good nap.”

She became aware of the assault when she noticed her hand lotion, which she placed in the seat pocket in front of her was missing. She then noticed lotion was “spread on her arms, chest, and up her legs.” She walked to the bathroom and felt sore, and observed “her underwear had been shifted and that lotion was in her vaginal area and on her underwear.”

She immediately reported the incident through tears, to the flight attendants.

42 year old Nadeem Mehmood Quraishi, who sat next to her in Economy class, admitted to touching the lady and brazenly said she “needed it” and “enjoyed it because she did not resist.” He also added, “it happened to him as a child.”

The man was arrested on arrival at JFK – John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, where the case is in federal court.

Politics / New APC Vs. Old APC And Why Buhari Might Lose The 2019 Election, By Femi A. by olusegunjacobs(m): 4:06pm On Sep 30, 2015
Mr. Buhari is largely responsible for this strong dichotomy between the Old and New APC. A political party by its nature is not a democracy even though it must have some sort of internal democratic structure. The leaders of the party must be able to crack the whip and make party members toe a required line. Mr. Buhari is not doing that. He isn’t setting the agenda for his party or openly making deviants toe the party line.

There were three main reasons for the election of Mr. Muhammadu Buhari in April – the horrendously incompetent PDP administration; the presence of a viable alternative in the form of the APC led by an incorruptible Mr. Buhari; and finally the enviable record of the APC governors, especially the administration in Lagos, which most non-partisan Nigerians believed at the time was stellar. There might have been other ancillary issues but the above formed the basis.

Tragically, the above will also spell the end of this APC government in 2019. There is starting to appear a clear distinction across the membership of the APC, between competence and clear incompetence. This distinction is clear when you consider the behaviour and performance of the members of the defunct Action Congress against the behaviour of other members, especially the ones who defected from the PDP to the APC after its formation. Despite all the vitriol recently sent the way of Mr. Bola Tinubu, his AC governors were disciplined and maintained a high level of performance when compared to the hapless PDP governors and politicians which made it really easy to say to the electorate that the performance would be continued under an administration led by Mr. Buhari. This message is getting lost in the battle between what I will call the New APC and the Old APC.

Let me describe the difference between the New and Old APCs.

The New APC is Mr. Olubukola Saraki defying his party and hiding inside a car park so he could sneak into the senate premises and execute the agreement he made with the PDP to seize the post of senate president. The Old APC is former Governor Fashola accepting to support Mr. Ambode, despite having his own candidate for the same post and keeping the quarrel between him and his godfather in-house. The New APC is Governor Jubrila Bindow, who defected from the PDP to the APC, budgeting N700m for prayers against Boko Haram and also appointing a male commissioner for the ministry of women affairs in Adamawa State. The Old APC is Governor Amosun constructing the first flyover bridge in Ijebu Ode. The New APC is when Governor Abubakar Sani who governs Niger State, which was recently bailed out by the Federal government, jets in to the UK for the sole purpose of visiting Stamford Bridge to watch the game between Arsenal and Chelsea. The New APC is Mr. Simon Lalong formerly of the PDP, following a suspended Comptroller General of Immigrations, Mr. Parradang to Aso Rock to beg President Buhari to reinstate him (Mr. Parradang was suspended for unauthorised recruitment into the immigration service, which is shameful considering how many lives were lost last year when the then minister of interior and the same Mr. Parradang messed up the immigration recruitment exercises, leading to the death of many young Nigerians). The New APC is 83 senators, including 35 APC senators, passing a vote of confidence on a senate president currently facing trial for corruption without considering the message that passes to ordinary citizens. The examples of bad behaviour by the New APC are piling up.

The buck stops at Mr. Buhari’s table. As he announces his ministerial list, it is imperative that he understands that if his political associates are misbehaving, his ministers can absolutely not and they must show the same efficiency previously displayed by the AC governors to destroy the increasingly strong belief that APC and PDP are really the two sides of the same coin. Either he does that or the people will sack him in 2019.

There was a sense of unity under the defunct AC. All its governors focused on high profile/high impact governmental priorities (roads construction, infrastructural development, traffic management, revenue collection, security reinforcement). The governors projected an image of efficiency. All governors and other office holders spoke with one voice on all matters in the political space. It was the combination of all these factors that made the AC such a compelling story for voters. While all governors had their distinct character, they were similar with regards to a drive for performance, a usage of technocrats to drive that performance and a collective platform for engaging with the nation. The new APC is a clear manifestation of the tower of babble, neither showing cohesion nor showing performance to make voters see it as a natural successor to the old AC. It’s obvious that the citizens of Nigeria will soon be able to see that what was promised is not what is being delivered.

Sports / Ronaldo: I Miss Playing With Rooney by olusegunjacobs(m): 1:10pm On Sep 29, 2015
The forward hopes to play alongside his former team-mate again before they hang up their boots...
Cristiano Ronaldo says he misses playing alongside former Manchester United team-mate Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo moved to United as an 18-year-old from Sporting Lisbon in 2003, while Rooney left Everton for Old Trafford a year later.

The pair went on to win three Premier League titles, the Champions League and one FA Cup together, before the Portugal captain joined Real Madrid in 2009.

Ronaldo admits it's a shame he no longer shares the same dressing room as the man he refers to as "pitbull" and hopes they're reunited in the future.

"I miss playing with Rooney. Maybe we can play again together some day," he said.

"He was the kid of England. Everybody loved him. He was so powerful I was calling him pitbull. The power of Wayne Rooney is his mentality and strength and he never stops.

"He's a fantastic team player and he scores! He's a fantastic boy and he helped me a lot when he came to join us in Manchester."
Politics / I Won't Tolerate Extortion Of Money From Unemployed Nigerians In Police......... by olusegunjacobs(m): 6:01pm On Aug 20, 2015
I WON'T TOLERATE EXTORTION OF MONEY FROM UNEMPLOYED NIGERIANS IN POLICE RECRUITMENT - BUHARI WARNS

President Muhammadu Buhari warned Thursday in Abuja that he will not tolerate any irregularities or extortion of money from unemployed Nigerians in the coming recruitment into the police.
At a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Police Affairs and the Police Service Commission in the Presidential Villa, President Buhari sad that applicants having to pay bribes before being accepted into the police in the past was totally unacceptable.
The President told the officials that those in charge of recruitment and training in the Police must be above board and eschew every form of extortion and underhand dealing.
"You must ensure that the recruitment process is transparent. Those who will conduct the recruitment must be above board. It should not be heard that they receive gratification or extort money from those who want to enlist in the police," President Buhari cautioned.
The President also directed the Inspector-General of Police to prune down the number of policemen attached to dignitaries, and redeploy all policemen withdrawn from that role to regular police duties.
On the stagnation of policemen on a rank for many years, the President counselled the Police Service Commission to review the current structure of the police, and make recommendations on how the problem can be solved to boost the morale of serving policemen.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr James Obiegbu had, in his briefing of the President, listed inadequate police personnel, dwindling finances and non-rehabilitation of police training schools as some of the challenges facing the police.
The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Sir Mike Okiro said that the country needed to have more than the 305,579 policemen and women which it has at present for effective policing.
He thanked President Buhari for approving the recruitment of 10,000 additional policemen and women earlier this week.

Politics / War Against Corruption: Houses Where Only Money “live” Discovered By Operatives by olusegunjacobs(m): 4:23pm On Aug 06, 2015
In the aftermath of the war against corruption being waged by the Buhari administration, there are strong indications that it’s beginning to yield fruits as revelations of how a former Nigerian leader used fortified mansions and in-built safes constructed by major Nigerian construction companies to stash away hundreds of millions of foreign and local currencies are now emerging.
It was learnt that the slush funds are in various denominations of US DOLLARS, Euro, Pounds sterling, CFA and Naira.

The revelations are being made by two former trusted aides of the former president who decided to spill the beans following the failure of the former Nigerian leader to fulfill his promise to appoint them in very lucrative federal government parastatals.

In their disclosures to the new Buhari administration which has commenced investigation, the funds are being hidden in various mansions scattered across the country like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Bayelsa state. In Abuja for example, three of the houses where the monies are stashed are in Maitama District, while two are in the Asokoro district of the capital territory.

In Bayelsa state for instance, two of such houses in Yenogoa are also stashed with huge sums of money, while one house in one of the remote villages is also used for the same purpose. In Lagos, three of such mansions are also used in housing the monies with one of the houses each in Ikoyi and Victoria Island, while the next is located in Lekki Phase 1. There are also three of such houses in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

It was reliably learnt that these slush funds are being kept in the safe custody of the former leader's concubines who had children for him, and for whom he bought mansions in major cities of the country, USA, Europe, Caribbean and United Kingdom.
Already the two trusted aides of the former president have given the addresses of the mansions to security agents who have commenced discreet surveillance and investigations.

It was also learnt that some of the concubines, an Igbo lady and another one from the South South geo political zone, who owns a private school in Abuja and has children for him are keeping the largest chunk of the money, while the wife of the former leader and some of his relations are partakers in keeping custody of the money estimated to run into over one billion dollars.
Already, the federal government has got the wind of the brazen manner with which such huge sums of money was being hidden, and are presently waiting for the courts to resume from vacation before swinging into full investigation towards recovering the huge funds.
In fact the sources (names withheld) disclosed that plans are underway to recover not only the monies but the houses in which they are being kept as they are considered proceeds of corruption.
Already, the president has directed the security agencies, EFCC, Police and others to ensure full recovery of the stolen funds. Police authorities are now making frantic efforts to locate the houses where the funds are being kept. So far, only one of the houses has been discovered, and efforts are being intensified to arrest the culprits and recover all the looted funds.
Information available to us disclosed that some of the houses belong to him, his wife and concubines and they are fully furnished, except that some only money “lives” in them. The furnishing is meant to deceive the unsuspecting public.
The good news is that the two trusted former aides have decided to work with the Buhari administration to ensure that all the looted funds are recovered.

Ahmed Musa was the hero for CSKA Moscow who came from two goals down to defeat hosts Sparta Prague 3-2 in the second leg third qualifying round of the Uefa Champions League.

Leonid Slutsky’s men had played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Arena Khimki – and needed a win away to secure a spot to the next round of the qualifying stage.

Ladislav Krejci put the hosts ahead in the sixth minute before Kehinde Fatai added the second for Sparta ten minutes later.

With the odds against CSKA to progress, Musa was on ground to reduce the deficit in the 34th minute as he put his team back on level terms six minutes after the restart of the second half before Alan Dzagoev sealed the win for the Russians.

Politics / Segun Agbaje, The GMD Of GTB Vs FBI… by olusegunjacobs(m): 6:54pm On Jul 30, 2015
Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has been able to build a reputation over the year that has helped to lift the banking industry to a new height under the able leadership of Late Tayo Aderinokun. He brought stability to the bank which gave it the huge customer base it has continued to enjoy up till today. May his soul rest in peace.
It would be seen that Tayo died with these qualities leaving the bank on the negative side in terms of customer satisfaction since Segun Agbaje’s leadership. Who has subjected customers to some very painful and ridiculous charges for services not rendered as proven in the suit instituted by Innoson Group.
This must be one of the reasons the founding Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank, Mr. Fola Adeola objected to Segun Agbaje as the bank’s Managing Director after the death of former MD, Mr. Tayo Aderinokun.
Most of the bank’s employees are said to be against his emergence as the MD due to his high-handedness and arrogant nature when he was the Deputy Managing Director (DMD). Talented and hardworking individuals have been frustrated out of the bank due to his attitude and he has also sacked over 150 employees within his short period as acting MD in 2011.

Segun’s strength lies on the edict of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) that favours his ascension to the position and his connection to the Oba of Lagos through his politician brother, Jimi Agbaje the PDP Gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State.
Segun Agbaje is said to be on the trail of the FBI for looting and money laundering in the tune of $1.2 billon believed to be depositor’s money which he has dubiously starched in his private bank accounts and other family member.
GTBank is advised to act fast before he runs the bank to bankruptcy for his own personal gains.
