Police on Wednesday dismissed reports that some police women are being held by Boko Haram terrorists.
The Force, however, added that two of its personnel – Insp Fatsuma Sale and Cpl Abubakar Haruna – are missing.The Spokesman of the Borno State police command, Isuku Victor said in a statement

“The attention of Borno State police command has been drawn to media reports over the attack by Boko Haram terrorists on military and police escorted convoy at Abari/Dalwa village Maiduguri/Damboa highway on June 20, 2017 at about 1130hrsAccording to one of the reports, ’16 female passengers in the bus trailing the ambulance carrying late Sgt Rahila’s corpse were police women and wives of policemen asked to accompany the burial party and all of them were taken away by Boko Haram.
“In another recently released video on You-Tube where Boko Haram claims responsibility for the attack on military convoy, its leader Abubakar Shekau, claims to have women police personnel and wives of senior police officers in the custody of the Boko Haram.
“For avoidance of doubts and to put records straight, there are no police women under Boko Haram terrorist’s captivity as claimed by the sect leader.
“The Command wishes to reiterate as contained in an earlier press briefing by the Commissioner of Police, CP Damian A. Chukwu, on 20/06/2017 that police lorry with Reg. No. NPF 2677 D was carted away.
“Occupants comprise personnel, relations and burial party for late Sgt Rahila Antikirya. The Driver of the police lorry, Sgt Kubura Mwada, was shot and injured on his back, he was able to jump down from the lorry and escaped.
“Personnel missing are Insp. Fatsuma Sale and Cpl. Abubakar Haruna and there is no evidence in the video clip indicating that they are in the captivity of the sect.”

Her experience as anintern in an emergency room took the scale off her eyes and encouraged her to explore life. According to her, relationships are important in developing one’s personal career. In the same vein, she noted that one should not solely rely on relationships and connections as they could fail. Outside her professional path, there is more to Morin Oluwole. She speaks five languages and has lived on three out of the seven continents in the world. Oluwole manages brands like American Express, Michael Kors and other world’s successful brands.

She steers the wheels of Daily by Morin, her personal project which focuses on life and style. The fashion portal has over twenty five thousand followers.

The intelligent lady has her background in human biology and sociology. Her goal in life is to be part of something great’ to work with the head of global advertising in ensuring that the best business and sales organization is developed. Having a clear understanding of the kind of impact she wants to make in the society has helped her go this far.

Karanja’s hope for life was renewed when he met the love of his life after giving his life to Christ. “Many people thought I could not get a wife due to my face, even now I talk t people and see the fright on their faces. Despite all this, God is always deserving for all he has done for me,” he said.

The internet has been buzzing with comments and mixed reactions after photos of a billionaire educationist's burial emerged on social media showing the astonishing number of his children.

A 71-year-old popular Ugandan billionaire educationist and founder of St Lawrence schools, Prof Lawrence Mukiibi, was laid to rest on Friday, June 1st in his ancestral home at Katenden, but one thing that left mourners in shock, was the number of his children, whom he had outside wedlock as he had no official wife.

According to multiple online reports, eyewitnesses in attendance at the funeral, counted over 30 children of the deceased, some of them as young as few months, as the late billionaire reportedly fathered more than 80 kids from his students.

While speaking in an interview with NBS Television, in April 2016, Prof. Mukiibi was asked the number of his children, he said: "It is a taboo to ask an African man how many children he has, especially a man of my age. But I have children, I keep adopting."

The New Vision reports that his family is planning to conduct DNA tests to confirm the paternity of the children, and several pregnant women have also come forward to claim that the late educationist was responsible for their pregnancies.

Keti Nandi, the officer in charge of child and family affairs in Kampala Metropolitan East, have advised the family of Mukiibi to continue providing assistance to the expectant mothers up to birth. Then after that, they can carry out DNA tests to ascertain the paternity of the children.

"My appeal is that whoever is pregnant should not be undermined because of that. Even if you (family) denied the pregnancy, the responsibility is upon you people to make sure that these women are catered for until they give birth,. It will be after birth that the DNA will take over," Nandi said.

A Nigerian man has found himself in serious trouble after taking too many pills of Tramadol known to be used by many youths as s*x enhancer.

The unnamed young man was said to have been affected by the effect of the drug. He was found lying half-n*ked on the ground as his friends poured him cold water to revive him.

A social media user, Abdul who shared the photos said that the victim's friends mocked him hard over the incident.
