Tips on marriage

1. Marriage flourishes when the couple works together as a team; when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score.
Good marriages don't just happen. They are a product of hard work.

2. Your children are watching you and forming lasting opinions on love, commitment, and marriage based on what they see in you. Give them hope. Make them look forward to marriage.

3. Husbands: The reason why other women look attractive is because someone is taking good care of them. Grass is always green where it is watered. Instead of drooling over the green grass on the other side of the fence, work on yours and water it regularly.
Any man can admire a beautiful woman, but it takes a true gentleman to make a woman admirable and
beautiful.

4. When a husband puts his wife first above everyone and everything except God, it gives his wife the sense of security and honour that every wife hungers for.

5. A Successful marriage doesn't require a big house, a perfect spouse, a million dollars or an expensive car. You can have all the above and still have a miserable marriage. A successful marriage requires honesty, undying commitment, care, sincere feelings and selfless love and God at the center of it all.

6. Pray for your spouse every day; in the morning, in the afternoon and at evening. Don’t wait until there is a problem. Don’t wait until there is an affair. Don’t wait until something bad happens. Don’t wait until your spouse is tempted. Shield your spouse with dua and cover your marriage with the fence and roof of dua.

7. The people you surround yourself with have a lot of
influence on your marriage. Friends can build or break your marriage; choose them wisely.

8. One spouse cannot build a marriage alone when the other spouse is committed to destroying it. Marriage works when both husband and wife work together as a team to build their marriage.

9. Don't take your spouse for granted. Don't take advantage of your spouse's meekness and goodness. Don't mistake your spouse's loyalty for desperation. Don't misuse or abuse yours spouse's trust. You may end up regretting after losing someone that meant so much to you.

10. Beware of marital advice from single people. Regardless of how sincere their advice may be, most of it is theoretical and not derived from real life experiences. If you really need Godly advice, seek it from God-fearing, impartial and prayerful mature couples whose resolve has been tested by time and shaped by trials.

11. Dear wife, Don't underestimate the power of the tongue on your marriage. The tongue has the power to crush your marriage or build it up. Don't let the devil use your tongue to kill your spouse's image, self-confidence and aspirations. Let God use your tongue to build up your marriage and bless and praise your spouse.

12.COMMUNICATION is the KEY to everything.
Talk it out, OWN up to your mistakes
Help others with theirs
Note that it is easier to forgive a wrong doing than a
lie.

13.Let your Spouse be your Best friend,
Marriage without friendship is like a Bird without wings, how will it fly?

14. Remember two wrongs don't make a Right.
Ego is very bad in marriage, Drop the E and go on to be the first to make up. That is called Maturity.
Wishing you HAPPY and BLISSFUL Marital Life! (Especially to some latest couples in town)
Its good to go into marital relationship if u can afford it. honestly they say it's good to be married, they say marriage is sweet there are a lot of benefit in it. May He guide and guard us.

Finally wife submit to your husband (total submission) if you don't submit to your husband at home and you submit to your pastor at the church that is hypocrisy

Religion / Must I Be Poor To Enter Into The Kingdom Of God? by oluwatunde1984(m): 2:36pm On May 22, 2016
Does that mean God wants me to be poor on earth to make heaven?

Bible demonstrates that God cares about the poor and about how they are treated. It is also clear that
Scripture warns of the dangers of wealth and has harsh
things to say about the rich.
To pick just a few examples from the Gospel of Luke, Jesus
tells us: “Blessed are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of
heaven;” “Woe to you who are rich, for you have already
received your comfort;” “Sell everything you have and give
to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven;” “It is
easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than
for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” [1]
Jesus even tells us that in the end, we will be judged on
how we treat those who are poor and powerless (Matt.
26:31-46).
Should we conclude from this that God is on the side of the
poor and opposes the rich? This is a tempting conclusion and one that is endorsed by some very prominent people in the Church, but is it supported by a careful reading of Scripture?

Causes of poverty
While it is certainly true that poverty can be the result of
injustice or oppression, it is not always. Proverbs, for
example, is full of advice about the importance of diligence
in our work, and warns that laziness leads to poverty.
The Bible also warns about the danger of some temptations
that are particularly important for the poor. The most
obvious of these is theft to get food. This can be extended
very easily to other types of criminal behavior motivated by
the need or desire for money, including gang related
activities, drug dealing, etc.
This in turn points to the reality of 1 Tim. 6:9-10: “But
those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a
snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge
people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a
root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that
some have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves
with many pangs.”
The root of evil
These verses are frequently associated with those who are
already rich , but that is not the group being addressed. It
is those who desire wealth, and specifically those who are
not yet rich, that are being cautioned here. This is an
important reminder that greed and worship of money is not
a vice peculiar to the rich. In fact, the people I know who
are most obsessed with money are not the wealthy but those who have to struggle to get by.
Envy of the rich is another sin that Scripture warns
against (e.g. Ps. 73). This ties in directly to the tenth
commandment against coveting your neighbor’s possessions.
The classical definition of envy is the desire to tear down
anyone who is ahead of you, to take away what is theirs
because they have more than you. Whether you cloak this in
the language of “fairness” or “income redistribution,” envy and covetousness remain sins.
The point is that poverty is not intrinsically virtuous, and
that there are some sins to which the poor are particularly
susceptible.
Blessed are the poor – and the rich
So why are the poor described as blessed? The issue isn’t
poverty per se, but rather the attitude of humility and
reliance on God that it can produce in us, which is why
Matthew’s version of the beatitude isn’t just “Blessed are
the poor,” but “Blessed are the poor in spirit .” Reliance on
personal wealth or government help (Ps. 146, esp. vs. 3-4,
7-10) for security is foolish, because they do not last.
Rather, we need to place our hope in God alone.
What about the rich? Although Scripture has some very
harsh things to say about the wealthy, this does not mean
that all of them are evil or under divine judgment.
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Job were rich and yet were also
approved by God. Just as poverty doesn’t guarantee virtue,
wealth does not guarantee vice.
Scripture also tells us that God gives us the power to make
wealth, and that he delights in the prosperity of his
servants (Ps. 35:27)—which includes material prosperity
(Deut. 28:11-13). So it is clear that wealth is not
necessarily evil.
Why, then, the condemnations of the rich in Scripture?
God’s real concern
The issue isn’t really wealth or poverty. Lev. 19:15 tells us
“You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial
to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall
you judge your neighbor.” God’s concern is for
righteousness and justice , but notice that justice does not
mean being partial to the poor, contrary to what many
social justice advocates argue. Justice means judging fairly according to the Law and on the basis of truth without regard to social class.
And this is precisely why the rich are so often condemned in
Scripture. In a fallen world, the rich and powerful have
historically taken advantage of their position to increase
their privileges at the expense of the poor and weak—the
widows, orphans and foreigners that are under special
protection in the Law because of their vulnerability.
A careful reading of the texts attacking the rich
demonstrates that the condemnations are almost inevitably connected to one of two things: first, either how they made their wealth, for example by defrauding their workers of their pay (e.g. James 5:4), denying justice to the poor (e.g. Amos 2:6-7), or taking the property of the powerless (e.g. Matt. 23:14); or second, how they use their wealth, for example by giving themselves over to luxurious living and ignoring the needs of the poor (e.g. Amos 6:1-7, Luke 16:19-31, James 5:5).
To put it differently, the rich are not always oppressors,
but oppressors are almost always rich . And that is why they incur the condemnations they do in Scripture.
The rich can also fall into other traps, particularly by
relying on wealth for their security rather than on God
(e.g. Ps. 52:7), which in turn leads very easily to
presumption, as if they were in control of their destiny
rather than God (Luke 12:16-21). This is exactly the
opposite attitude of the poor in spirit, whom Jesus blesses.
And, of course, the rich can be just as greedy and enslaved
to money as anyone else.
Money doesn’t create these problems. Rather, it reveals
what’s inside us and magnifies our character for good or
for ill. And for too many in our fallen world, it’s for ill.
To whom much is given, much is required. God expects those
He enables to make wealth to use it appropriately and in
particular to share with those in need. At the same time,
however, Scripture also gives important instructions on how we should discharge our responsibilities to the poor.

So in conclusion God wants us to be rich and wealthy and it has nothing to do with heaven, you can be rich and make heaven, just that Jesus said it's very hard for a rich man to enter into heaven
Religion / Abortion Abortion Abortion by oluwatunde1984(m): 12:38am On May 22, 2016
Question: "What does the Bible say about abortion?"

Answer: The Bible never specifically addresses the issue of
abortion. However, there are numerous teachings in Scripture that make it abundantly clear what God’s view of abortion is.
Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God knows us before He forms us in the womb. Psalm 139:13-16 speaks of God’s active role in our creation and formation in the womb. Exodus 21:22-25 prescribes the same penalty—death—for someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb as for someone who commits murder. This clearly indicates that God considers a baby in the womb to be as human as a full-grown adult.
For the Christian, abortion is not a matter of a woman’s right to choose. It is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27 ; 9:6 ).
The first argument that always arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about cases of rape and/or incest?” As horrible as it would be to become pregnant as a result of rape and/or incest, is the murder of a baby the answer? Two wrongs do not make a right. The child who is a result of rape/incest could be given in adoption to a loving family unable to have children on their own, or the child could be raised by its mother. Again, the baby is completely innocent and should not be punished for the evil acts of its father.
The second argument that usually arises against the Christian stance on abortion is “What about when the life of the mother is at risk?” Honestly, this is the most difficult question to answer on the issue of abortion. First, let’s remember that this situation is the reason behind less than one-tenth of one percent of the abortions done in the world today. Far more women have an abortion for convenience than women who have an abortion to save their own lives. Second, let’s remember that God is a God of miracles. He can preserve the life of a mother and a child despite all the medical odds being against it. Ultimately, though, this question can only be decided between a husband, wife, and God. Any couple facing this extremely difficult situation should pray to the Lord for wisdom (James 1:5 ) as to what He would have them to do.
Over 95 percent of the abortions performed today involve women who simply do not want to have a baby. Less than 5 percent of abortions are for the reasons of rape, incest, or the mother's health at risk. Even in the more difficult 5 percent of instances, abortion should never be the first option. The life of a human being in the womb is worth every effort to allow the child to be born.
For those who have had an abortion, remember that the sin of abortion is no less forgivable than any other sin. Through faith in Christ, all sins can be forgiven (John 3:16 ; Romans 8:1 ;
Colossians 1:14 ). A woman who has had an abortion, a man who has encouraged an abortion, or even a doctor who has performed one—can all be forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.

God is not happy with whoever destroy His work,, that child that is coming is the work of God
Religion / Forbidden Fruit by oluwatunde1984(m): 12:13am On May 22, 2016
Why did God created the "Forbidden Fruit"?

This question is a good one because it is easy to wonder why a perfectly holy God who hates sin and does not want us to sin (sin of disobedience) would put us in circumstances in which, as an all-knowing Being, He already knows that we will sin. If God knew that Adam and Eve would eat from the tree, why give them the opportunity? To get to the root of the matter, one might ask the general question of why God would allow any of us to be in circumstances in which He knows we will sin. For example, why would God allow a married man who has been faithful to his wife for years to meet a certain woman in certain circumstances that would ultimately result in the man giving into the temptation of having an affair with her?
To begin to answer this, we must first remember that God made us “in His image” (Gen 1:26) and did this for a reason. Being made in God’s image does not mean that we physically look like God, as God is a non-physical Being and does not have a body (John 4:24; Col 1:15). The term also does not mean that we have God’s perfections; rather, being in the image of God means that we are to some degree in the likeness of God. One way that we are in God’s likeness is that we are rational beings with freedom of the will. God created us to be moral creatures with genuine moral freedom. God did not want us to be robots or puppets, lacking the ability to make significant moral choices. God could have easily “programmed” us so that we would automatically always do the right thing, but then we would not be moral creatures. We would lack free will, and we could not genuinely choose to love God. Love is a choice that cannot be forced, and being moral creatures requires that we have the choice to obey God and do what is right or reject God and do what is wrong. In order for us to make this choice, God must both give us free will and put us in circumstances in which we have to make the choice of obeying Him or disobeying Him by choosing to sin. All of this suggests why God would create us with the ability to choose right and wrong.
However, a further question is this: is God responsible for tempting us when He allows us to be placed into circumstances in which He knows that we will sin? Not at all. The Bible says that God does not tempt us, and we alone are responsible for giving into our temptations. A good passage that discusses this is James 1:12-15, and it is worth quoting it at length:
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God’; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.
From James, we can see that God wants us to learn to persevere when we face trials and temptations; moreover,
the process of temptation begins within us . Temptation begins when we allow ourselves to dwell on something that we should not have, and it ultimately leads to sin. God gives us free will and allows circumstances in which we fall into temptation, but God Himself does not tempt us. When we ponder this, it does not seem very likely that God could always prevent us from entering into circumstances in which we will choose to sin. All of mankind is fallen and sinful (Rom 3:9-20). We are bound to sin in various ways no matter what circumstances come into our lives. The man who commits adultery is responsible for His own choice, and so were Adam and Eve. God cannot block us from every circumstance in which we allow ourselves to be tempted because we are utterly fallen and allow ourselves to be tempted all the time. More than that, even if God could block every circumstance that would allow us to be tempted, it is possible that God has very good reasons for allowing us to make bad choices and sin. A good parent disciplines his children and allows them to experience the consequences of their mistakes. God does the same thing (Heb 12:6-11). Sometimes it is only through making mistakes that we learn from these mistakes, experience moral growth, and strive to be the righteous people that God desires.
God only gave Adam and Eve one command. The command was not a temptation for them. God’s law was good (to keep them from death) and was meant to guide them, but they allowed themselves to be tempted and to sin. No doubt Adam and Eve were bound to sin just as all humans (other than Jesus) are, and God did foreknow this . That is why God has planned from all of eternity—even before creating the world—to send Jesus and rescue Adam, Eve, and all of us from the sin He knew we would commit (Eph 1:4; 2 Tim 1:9; 1 Pe 1:20). Romans 7 beautifully summarizes why God gives us commands that He knows we will break and what God, in His grace, does for us. God’s laws are good for us because they help us to know what sin is (Rom 7:7-12). When we sin, we take God’s good laws and rebel against them, an offense which leads to death (Rom 7:13). Even when we know that God’s law is good and we want to obey it, we humans will go against God’s law and miss the mark (Rom 7:14-20). Being a slave to sin in this way means that we need to be rescued from our sin (Rom 7:21-24). Fortunately for us, God in His grace and mercy had planned all along to send Jesus to be our rescuer and free us from our sinful condition. As Paul concludes in Rom 7:25, “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!”

In addition to the helpful considerations given above, I like to phrase this question even more generally: “Why did God choose to create the world as He did—including the forbidden fruit—knowing in advance that humans would eventually eat from it and disobey Him, bringing both spiritual and physical death to humanity”? In my view, one important consideration is unfortunately not thought about much in this connection: the possible relevance that non-human powers may play in the reason for God creating the physical universe as He did. It seems clear from various biblical passages that there was, and is, a major “cosmic conflict” between God and Satan and his evil forces (Is 14:12-15; Lk 10:17-18; Rev 12:3-4,7-17; 2 Pet 2:4; Jude 6; Eph 2:2; 6:12). If such a “cosmic war” was in place before the creation of this physical universe, I think it’s reasonable to infer that God created this universe as He did—including the forbidden fruit—as a major part of His strategy to resolve this war for the rest of eternity . Now it may be pretty speculative as to what this strategy is, but I personally find it encouraging (and helpful) to think that all of this creation is actually a part of an even bigger story: God is demonstrating His righteousness as well as His mercy, not only to us, but to all created beings, both earthly and heavenly (Rom 1:17; 3:24-26; 5:8; 9:17; 1 Pet 3:18-20; Col 2:15; Eph 3:8-10). This basic idea suggests that God granted human freedom and allowed the existence of evil in this world, and He had good reasons for doing so.

Religion / Was Jesus Sinless ? by oluwatunde1984(m): 7:52pm On May 15, 2016
Question: "Was Jesus sinless?"
Answer: Yes, Jesus was sinless, and it is because Jesus was sinless that we have hope of an eternity in heaven. If Jesus were not sinless, there would be no sacrifice for sin. Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden ushered sin into this world (Genesis 3:6 ). With their sin came death, just as God had warned (Genesis 2:17 ). As a result, mankind is now born with a sin nature (Romans 5:12–19 ), and it is with us from the time we are conceived (Psalm 51:5 ). The Bible makes it clear, however, that Jesus Christ, though tempted in every way just as we are (Hebrews 4:15 ), never committed a sin (2 Corinthians 5:21 ; 1 John 3:5 ). The apostle Peter stated it clearly: “He committed no sin and no deceit was found in His mouth” (1 Peter 2:22 ). Indeed, as Jesus Christ is God, He has no capacity to sin. In addition to putting a barrier between us and our Creator, our inherited sinful nature subjected all of us to physical and eternal death because “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23 ). Now, to be reconciled with God there needed to be forgiveness, and “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22 ). After Adam and Eve sinned, God clothed them with “garments of skin” (Genesis 3:21 ) by shedding the blood of an animal. However, the many subsequent animal sacrifices, although perfectly illustrating that sin requires death, provided only a temporary covering of sins, as the blood of those animals could never completely take away sin (Hebrews 10:4 , 11 ). The Old Testament sacrifices were a foreshadowing of the perfect, “once for all” sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 7:27 ; 10:10 ). The only way we could be reconciled to a holy and perfect God was with a holy and perfect offering, which we would not have had if Jesus Christ was not without sin. As Peter declared, “For you know that it is not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed . . . but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect” (1 Peter 1:18–19 ). Indeed, it was the sinless blood of Christ alone that was able to bring peace between God and mankind (Colossians 1:20 ). And with this reconciliation, we can be “holy in [God’s] sight, without blemish and free from accusation” (Colossians 1:22 ). The sinless Christ’s death on the cross at Calvary paid the full penalty for the sin of all who believe in Him. Thus, what was lost at the fall was given back at the cross. Just as sin entered the world through one man (Adam), God was able to redeem the world through one man— the sinless Jesus Christ.
Religion / Why Did Jesus Say No One Is Good But God Alone (and He Is God 0) by oluwatunde1984(m): 7:32pm On May 15, 2016
Why did Jesus say, 'No one is good but God alone' if He is God?
Mark 10:17-31 records Jesus' interaction with a rich young ruler. The man said to Jesus, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" ( Mark 10:17). Jesus started His response with, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone" ( Mark 10:18). Was Jesus denying that He is God? Why would He say this if He is God? It is clear from the rest of His conversation with this man that Jesus' response was used to point out the true condition of the man's heart and the reality that Jesus is divine. Jesus went on to say that to have eternal life, the man had to obey the commandments. The man told Jesus that he had kept all of these commands since childhood. Jesus had slowed the man down before, asking him to think through the implications of "good." Yet the man still seemed to believe himself righteous. The third statement of Jesus surfaced the hard truth. Jesus told him, "You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me" (Mark 10:21). In response, the man left sadly, unable to give up his possessions to follow Christ. Jesus goes on to explain to His disciples the difficulty those with wealth have in accepting Christ. When we believe all our needs are met—materially or that we are "good" people or that we can follow a law or a formula to gain eternal life—we fail to recognize our need for a Savior and come to Jesus. This passage as a whole was not about Jesus making some false distinction between Himself and God, but rather about pointing out some of the barriers that keep people from becoming followers of Christ. The quote "No one is good except God alone" also likely alluded to Psalm 14:3 where it is written, "there is none who does good, not even one." This shows that Jesus used Scripture to answer the man's first question from Psalms as well as from the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20). The man sought to receive eternal life from the Law; Jesus called the man to faith in Himself for salvation. The apostles would emphasize this contrast between the law and salvation by faith repeatedly in the New Testament. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." John 1:17 teaches, "For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."

GRUDGES NOT GOOD FOR YOU AS CHRISTIAN

Grudges are not acceptable before God. He tells us as early as Leviticus 19:18, “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord” (emphasis added throughout). As if that were not emphatic enough, the apostle Paul later says in Ephesians 4:26-27, “'Be angry, and do not sin': do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.” The command to not let the sun go down on our wrath is another way of saying, “Don't hold on to what makes you angry.” But why? What's wrong with stewing over the frustrating things others have done to us? God forbids grudges because they foster nothing but bitterness and eventually destruction. We read in Hebrews 12:14-15, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.” Beside, as Paul said, they can give the devil a foothold ( Ephesians 4:27, New International Version). Grudges destroy relationships. It is impossible to build or repair any relationship when one side will not let go of something the other has done. And beyond that, grudges destroy us from the inside. When we hold onto grudges, they weigh us down and tear us apart—and the sick irony is that grudges only have the power to do that because we give it to them. Instead of holding on to grudges and becoming bitter, frustrated individuals, God has called us to a higher standard—that of forgiveness. We need to forgive those who have wronged us as soon as possible, giving up our right for revenge and to hold a grudge. Jesus tells us, “Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him” ( Mark 11:25). Why? Well, for the reasons previously mentioned, but Christ continues His admonition to its sobering conclusion: “…that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses” (verses 25-26). Forgiving others and giving up grudges is for our own good!

I speak victory into every area of your life.

The God of heaven will enlarge your coast; in your work, business, academic area, and all you do, your promotion will manifest and your breakthrough shall be accelerated. In your home, marriage, and your health, there shall be peace like a river.

Do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed, for the battle is not yours but God’s. The Lord shall restore you to the original design for your life; your fruitless labor shall come to an end, and all that has been lost in your life shall be restored in multiple folds. Go forth and prosper in Jesus mighty name.
