If Coldstone has actually becomes the rich men menu, it simply mean Nigeria is finished. No be ice cream 🍨

You think someone who only has N450k to spend per month for a family of three can afford Coldstone every week? grin grin grin grin grin grin

It seems you are in a different Nigeria.

And Obi may likely not win it, because nearly all the votes would be sold in dollars. Same way Tinubu bought the last primary against Prof Yemi Osinbajo. Until the primary election voters share the same spirit, pains and concerns of average Nigerians, we will still miss it comes 2027

EducationRe: Should I Travel To UK For Msc Or Start A Business In Nigeria? by Oluwomonext212(m): 12:28pm On Feb 09
My brother use your money for that business. UK no longer worth it cuz of their immigration rules, certificate of sponsorship will humble you plus new 10 or 15 yrs proposed ILR rule. If you must travel, pls look into other Schengen countries with lesser school fees and softer immigration rules

Naya261:
I am planning of travelling to the UK for my Msc programme. My main purpose of travelling is as a means of jakpa not that I really need the Msc. I sold the land i bought in Asaba in 2018 for N22m. I plan to use the money for the tuition fee deposit ( £5,000) and other travel expenses. The complete tuition fee is £15,330. I will study and work in other to pay the remaining balance.

My plan is to remain in the UK and work after my study. Please I need your advice.
PoliticsRe: Fubara Is The Leader Of APC In Rivers, That's The President's Position - Bwala by Oluwomonext212(m): 9:56pm On Jan 22
When you chases two rats at the same time, expect to lose both. Wike doesn’t want to leave PDP as that is his will power to gain Tinubu loyalty, being an intruder in the party structure. Yet wanted to be a force to reckon with when it comes to APC. If he ever knew Fubara would cross from PDP bet he would have done it first. But I love the suspenseful shock Fubara gifted him, it will serve as a life time lesson to him and his incoming political son that greediness has its own consequence.

It’s so unfortunate that nobody can help you out of any addiction better than yourself. People can only talk to you, the responsibilities to take action or repent all lean on your shoulders. When you are ready to put a stop to anything you don’t like, nobody can stop you 👌

Even if they are worth trillions, it's the least of my p..na the media wey dey force their story on us be my problem
You only think they are forcing it because you see their news everywhere right ? Don’t be deceived that those guys pay a lot of money to push their activities across social medial…. The algorithm doesn’t just work, someone somewhere is paid to push the advert. Mean while, that’s exactly what they need to remain relevant and get their pay. From the lads doing skits and online streaming to the guys helping push their relevances online, all of them are hustling for the money. Just imagine two adult debating on their matter, even when they don’t even have a clue of who we are grin grin grin If they haven’t put their story on Nairaland this morning, how do you even think about them huh That’s their own strategy. It’s left for us to watch or ignore, either way it will never stop popping up 🤣🤣🤣

Bro, if you aren’t stealing, yet found a way to make millions in this present Nigeria, isn’t that enough to be grateful for ? We the OG still lives in disbelief of what the GenZ can achieve with the same internet we used just to send email and browse pages like Nairaland. These days, all over the world, those young blood are making an unbelievable amount of dollars just streaming, doing skit and even playing computer games. My 12 year old son is already going on live games to win coin, when me as his dad could hardly control PS pad. Baba just leave those young lads jaree. Nothing is going down in history, they are making the money, all they need is good management of it.

What is it about chores and finances noise in marriages all over the social medias. If you as a woman or a man still go online to seek validation on who pay the bills and who do the chores and what percentage must each party contribute, it means you both are still teenagers who meant to be in their parents houses. All the money they spend defending the naira isn’t up to what the UK govt spend giving their citizens weekly or monthly benefits…. When defending the naira your 100k could give you a descent life, that was the only benefit you get from the Nigeria Govt. Now that naira has been devalued, what’s ur benefit? Can 300k rent u a descent room and a palor ? Did it stop corruption and embezzlement? Do you have access to credit card, mortgage and car finance ? Most of us didn’t know our benefits had been stripped off the moment subsidy was taken away and naira got devalued, in a country where the government doesn’t give a damn about ur papa

FamilyRe: My Marriage Is Shaking: I Settle All Bills Abroad by Oluwomonext212(m): 11:01am On Jun 27, 2025
Where do you live, abroad or Nigeria ? If Nigeria I wouldn’t hold you for your comment because u may actually not in full understanding of how abroad life works… But if you are abroad yet saying this, I would say you are a selfish human being as the said wife.

In Nigeria you could be earning 5M yearly while your rent, feeding, gas and all is just 2M for the whole year. With that you are comfortable enough to take care of your family without stressing ur wife, cuz u still have something in the bank to keep life going.. But abroad, ur monthly income might be exactly your monthly bills, hence the reason you need your wife who’s also working and earning almost or even above ur own salary to support you, this way both of you can have something left in savings for ur future.

If he’s there alone, very easy to share a room with a buddy to cut his expenses and have some savings, but as a married man they need a flat to themselves for privacy and comfortability. So should this come at the detriment of only one person, when the other party keep their own money to themself huh

Adaumunocha:
Because of sharing of money worked for, you divorce ya wife? Why didn't he divorce her when she was a full housewife contributing nothing back in Nigeria?
FamilyRe: My Marriage Is Shaking: I Settle All Bills Abroad by Oluwomonext212(m): 10:51am On Jun 27, 2025
Sorry as I’m going to be blunt ! If you can read this, I make bold to say your wife is one of the most selfish being that ever walk this earth, as well pathetic and unreasonable. Who the hell does that abroad ! our bill is almost the same as yours, we both work for the same company, knows what comes in for individual every month. No argument, we split it 50:50, then make our monthly contribution and keep whatever remain to ourselves individually. Whatever you do with ur remaining balance is ur own business, send to your parents, siblings and friends that’s ur choice.

We both understand we are here to better our lives, not just mine or hers, so no one is expected to keep all their earnings to his or herself while the other party foot the bills with their own. If you guys continue that way u will end up frustrated, broke, depress and probably waste ur time abroad with nothing to write home about, while your wife thrives and build her own life at ur own detriment.

Liazz:
Am I being unreasonable being mad at my wife?
We relocated abroad 3 years ago but she isn't helping to settle any of the bills.

We both are gainfully employed though I earn much than she does. Our monthly expenditure is about £2000 and she doesn't care to help in any way. I foot all bills making me struggle to save while she keeps all she earns to herself. We also had a loan of over 10 thousand pounds to settle when we relocated, she didn't help with a dime till I paid all bits by bits which took me almost 2 years.

Despite this, I still help with house chores like taking care of our kids, home cleaning and even washing dishes though she does all the cooking.
I've expressed my displeasure several times but she keeps insisting I can't force her to financially assist, it's my job as I'm the husband. She seems convinced she isn't doing any wrong and no sign of remorse whatsoever.

I financed our relocation 100% without her contributing a dime.

This is causing a strain in the marriage and I am thinking if I am unreasonable in my demand, am I?
Your comments are highly welcome.
TravelRe: ''There Is No Life In UK!'' - Nigerians In UK Warn Their Countrymen. by Oluwomonext212(m): 4:03pm On Jun 02, 2025
UK is not easy they all say, yes is not easy ! But my wife dey do 1k pounds thrift monthly…. She complain of stress almost everyday but the money won’t let her go home….. Let nobody deceive you, life no dey UK but u can gift yourself a life there, then return to naija for a biz

CoronaVirusPro:
Don’t let anyone lie to you! If there is no life in the UK, why are they still there?

The best thing one can do in Nigeria now is to quit your job, sell your house and all other assets and move to the UK. If you can sell everything in a short time frame and make it to the UK, just know you have made it. They will never tell you that, the UK government will give you €10,000/month for 6 months when you arrive UK.

A country where with 6 months of hard work as a nurse or truck driver, you can be able to afford a mansion in Banana Island.

Don’t listen to naysayers, they don’t want you to come. If you lucky to be wealthy or have parents who are wealthy, start selling anything you can lay your hands on and come to the UK.

Too many jobs in the country and you can never go broke. You can build a 3 story triplex yearly in Nigeria if you hardworking
