This is not a good idea. The dog might get aggressive when hungry.
Just make sure you feed him well eveeyday and trust me, it will get to know you very soon.

It's just a matter of time. Just keep giving it food. That's all and don't be afraid.
I bought a dog of 3 years. It took me almost 2 weeks to go close to it but now I'm enjoying it. And it's also a boerboel breed.
Don't rush it
Just give it time
