From what I gathered last night, Sylvia is still a baby,despite her 23yrs of age, but actually doesn't care about what people say about her.

Yesterday Ebi was telling Meriton that Rose keeps borrowing her wigs like she didn't have, only for her to open Rosie's wardrobe to see wigs.
I'm sensing the wig issue is just what broke the camel's back and there might be other things Ebi was angry about before the wigs.
