You know I TTC for over 12yrs. With the record of 3 blighted ovum, So since I missed my period I've been on duphaston twice daily and progesterone injection once in a week as my gynea prescribed. Then I'm taking pregnacare original. I stopped vit by at 7weeks.
Im always on Google because of the fear of no ms, but I get to know that some people are lucky not to have it.
I just decided not to scan this week because I do every week when I go for injection. I even went to another clinic to scan and without asking for my lmp the Dr gave me the exact weeks by my calculation and said my baby is fine. Though 2 days diff in Edd, I was given 26th before but the last one gave me 24th.

Hello sis, please i need your advise. I also had blighted ovum once and two failed ivf. Have been very concious and careful since i missed my pee in April. So on Wednesday i nd hubby went to register for antenatal wit our HMO clinic after all d registration it wz tym for scan and doc said he couldn't find baby, hmmmm my heart skip ooo say wetin dis man dey talk for mouth. I sha reject am immediately. He booked us for next again to re scan.
But before the antenatal registration i had already done a scan with another clinic and baby was seen so i was pondering why this particular doc will say no baby seen.
Hubby and i ve been so worried sinz then oooo. Please make una help me with advise ooo? What shld i do?�� i also did progesterone test immediately i was confirmed preg and result was ok. I also didnt experience ms except for nausea, light headache and light brownish spot. Happy bumping to everyone.

I dont know of any good private hospital in Olodi Apapa but i strongly recommend that you register at Apapa Health Centre. That's was my second antenatal hospital. I register the private clinic (hmo) and Apapa Health Centre because in terms of delivery and specialist they have it there and my twin gave birth to three boys there.

The antenatal is 25000 which includes some scan and test. Antenatal is every Monday while registration is on Tuesdays. You have to be at the clinic on time if you want to leave there early. You know govt hospital and crowd. For the antenatal, you have to be there by 7 or 8am because they have pregnancy class from 8 to 9am or 7am to 8am before they start transferring your files to the doctors office. Normal and cs delivery is not expensive.
I didn't deliver there because hmo paid for it.

I went there for the pregnancy class as they don't usually have it at some private hospitals.

Thanks mama for this info, its quite helpful. I jst told hubby abut the apapa health center and he approves it. So we r also going to register wit his HMO. I appreciate your response ma.

If luth is not far from you, I will advice you use them, you will sure get specialist care.. and if luth is far, get a good Lagos state hospital and not primary health care center oo...

Hello everyone. got my bfp som days back bt im a bit worried. i was on augumentin 1gram twice a day and gentamycin injection twice a day aswell for heavy growth of staphylococcus infection, was on d drugs dor nine days. started dem three days after ovulation. I truly wasn't expecting to get pregnant but God did it. i stopped the drugs immediately i got my bfp, hop d ones i have taken won't affect my baby and im also worried d staph infection isnt completely out. im on pregnance atm nt dont intend going to see a gynea till in two to three months pregnant. i feel very fine save for mild cramps n fatigue. i believe i am well though, my human nature takes control
and vents sometimes. i guess im team January.

See your doctor pls and limit sugar intake. It could be infection
I experienced light brown discharge in first trimester. When I complained at hospital, I was told to be eating cucumber, unsweetened yoghurt garlic and scent leave. It didnt cure it completely until I changed hospital and prescribed antibiotic cream

Greetings to the house and Sabi mamas. Got my BFP few weeks ago but this very mean morning sickness(all day sickness) never let me see road, EDD with LMP is 5th January. Haven't done scan yet to confirm my EDD.

Moved over here frm ttc thread early September when bfp was confirmed for the first time in my life to the glory of God. I was working with an obstetrician already so I had hospital care right from day one. MS hit me at about 6 weeks and it lasted till 3rd trimester but thankfully no spitting or heartburn (even though baby came out with a head full of hair). Then late 2nd trimester I went to complain to my doc that I was feeling dizzy and faint, blood test showed I had slight anemia with low blood platelets so I was monitored monthly for that and thankfully my count later increased. I was told if the numbers decreased, there was a bleeding risk so no option of CS or epidural. God just stepped in because as it turned out, I eventually needed both.

So at 39 weeks plus, last Friday, I was ready for birth but no sign. I saw on baby centre where a lady said she crawled and it brought up labour. As funny as it sounds, I decided to go on all fours and crawl around the bed (floor is too hard). Next day, I woke up with contractions. Was mild so I was able to still cook and go about daily activities. Got a bit intense at night but managed to sleep in between them. Sunday morning, went to the hospital and was checked at the labour assessment unit, I was only 2cm, doc did membrane sweep and sent me home to return later. Contractions intensified eventually but I told DH we should wait till after Game of thrones which was to begin at 9pm. I’d been seeing bloody show all day. After the program, got to the hospital and was at 5cm. Got moved to labour and delivery unit and into a room for the rest of the labour. Got plugged to monitors to check baby’s heart rate, my contractions and my bp. A nurse was with me all through. Doc came to check and broke my water only to find baby had pooped already which made her heart rate jump to about 170bpm. They put me on IV to regulate her heart rate. The pain was so much but I was determined not shout to as to save my strength for pushing. Nurse and DH kept giving me ice water and juice. I asked for laughing gas for pain relief, I didn’t find it effective, one strong contraction hit and I flung the thing. At this point, I had labored for about 5-7hrs at the hospital and was still 5cm, no progress. They gave me pitocin and I asked for an epidural even though I had planned for none initially. That thing worked like magic as all the pain disappeared even though I was still contracting badly. I only felt the pressure, no pain. I was able to sleep till about 11am Monday morning thinking I will wake up and be 10cm ready to push.
NO PROGRESS STILL! It was frustrating but at least I wasn’t in pains. Pitocin dosage was increased, still nothing. Doc said if no progress, we’d have to opt for a Csection.
At around 2ish at noon, doc came in and we agreed to the Csection as my pelvic bone wasn’t wide enough for the baby to descend. Got wheeled into the theatre and within 30-40mins, baby was out weighing over 7lbs. I cried as I heard my princess’ voice. She was cleaned and brought to me. DH carried her too and we took pics. Got stitched while she was taken away to check her vitals etc.
Oh did I tell you guys the drama my mother acted in the labour room? When she heard we might do csection, she started crying. Me that was experiencing the labour started laughing at her. The most important thing is mother and baby alive.

Thank God for everything, can’t thank him enough.

Good evening everyone. It's really good to be back here again after i miscarried 3yrs ago. Being trying since then but nothing, went back to hospital and was told my tube were blocked��� the doctors even couldnt explain how come, he only advise we try IVF which we tired for two cycles but all failed. I was broken and depressed tried other drugs and herbal but still nothing. I just kukuma stop everything and handed my situation to God.
A friend later invited me to MfM prayer city for 1wk prayers and fasting in dec 2018 after that i kept believing and hoping on God. I never stopped praying and attending our church programmes for expectant mothers
In April i felt sick and hubny took me to hospital after d tests i was confirmed pregnant after 7yrs of waiting and believing in God becos he alone has the final say. He choose to-do it at it own time.
Boom God just did it witout me taking anytin apart from folic acid. I return all Glory to Him for He alone deserve my Praises.
I pray to have a stress free nine month and deliver like the hebrew women In Jesus Name Amen.
My story long ooooo shey na in law's wahala own i wan talk because my home was at the verge of breaking but i just thank God for restoration. May God remember all GTC mothers here too IJN.

Noticed hubby has been moody for d past 3days now and I keep asking wt d prob is, he will jst say nothing. This mrng woke him up to dress for church instead he said he wasn't going, I left him and went to church! when I came back I decided dat we must talk cos I knw all is nt right with him
After much persuasion, he told me he wz tired of evrytin dat I shld giv him some space, he is tired of praying, going to church etc he just want a child. that after my mc in Feb last year am supose to ve taken in again, I don't knw d way men reason atimes are my God
