Dear Spyderman. I really appreciate these exciting updates. You have done a great job here. Many of us are interested in undertaking this kind of project. It will be great if you can update on the total cost of the building so far. Even an estimate will be okay. Cheers spyder880: Its difficult breaking all electrical current consumed into individual flats, who then pays for the gate man and all the outside lighting. I will tie the current for pumping water with those for outside lighting, I am working this out today. On the doors, I used foreign doors on local frames, then some local doors were done. |

Zonacom: Why must Obiano plaster his picture on all of his projects in Anambra? Its not cool at all. Even roads undergoing minor refilling of potholes normally have a small sign post with the inscription "willy is working" on them. Its embarrassing if you ask me. Is this a problem again? Chiwude: Obiano is doing a wonderful job by diversifying the economy of Anambra. Just like someone said, the completion of the Onitsha mall as well as both the Nnewi and Awka mall will put the state in the circle of world business activities. However, I don't buy the idea of concentrating much development to one zone (Anambra north) as proposed by Obiano. You cannot have a commercial airport, a refinery/petro-chemical hub as well as the Agro belt of the state in close proximity. It may brew conflict of interest. What are u saying man. The airport and the refinery are one and the same project. Anambra refinery will specialize in making aviation kerosene. You don't make aviation kerosene without at least an airfield for planes or tanker jets to land for loading. And you don't expect them to build another airport in addition to the airport attached to the refinery. Don't tell me about pipeline, that will be another project altogether. Anambrarians cannot be tribalism if again in our own state. Saa Anya gi o |

Schematics: ^^Cj, I understand your point but the mall is not for everybody. The quality should not be tampered with. It was designed to be an upscale five star facility and they should maintain the quality so far without compromising. The mall and 5 star hotel around will have a dedicated ipp energy supply. So energy supply is no longer an issue. But you are wrong. Mall is for everybody, not just the rich. Obiano will agree with me |

Pls don't recommend tolling the Benue bridge. It's still Igbos that will pay. Think about that Nedu09: that's remind me...where is the promised Onitsha river port? not even included here? nobody talks about it anymore even your Jona. that Guy is not competent enough. he should at list Fix that project. nobody should celebrate about that bridge cause they will still toll all the billions on us.. why didn't they toll the ones built at Lagos and Benue? besides that's not enough for SE as a whole. don't forget what he did in kogi state as a state surpass all this list.. .reason! the matter. |

spyder880: I bought each of these tanks for N26,000, some fittings and accessories like taps, non return values and elbows were also bought. Things are going up in prices. @Spyder880, you have done a great job, in record time too. I am really impressed by the quality of your work. I took time to read this thread till this 36th page and I must commend your diligence. I really learnt a lot and I believe many people here did as well. Please I realized you didn't detail the budget for this project. It is also not necessary to share the whole details here but I would be grateful if you could give me an idea of the estimated budget for each stage of the building. Say: foundation to casting, block work to decking, decking, upper floor block work, roofing, plastering, fittings, finishings. You don't have to detail a lot, just provide estimates. Cheers |

Hi. Thanks for sharing the pic of the proposed flyover design. Does anyone have the picture of the Aroma one. I have seen that of Kwata and Amawbia online but never Aroma flyover Schematics: The flyovers in Awka are of complex design..designed to suit the already link roads and not just to flyover the city. Just take a look at this one at Amawbia junction. The design was such that it can fit in on the road network and ease traffic.
Below is how the entire place will look like when completed.. |
