Anyone who directly experienced GRINGORI back then, as an appointee, would be wondering if it's the same man with whom they worked the Mob has been talking about. Gringori was a catastrophe as a governor but these people think they would use heavy makeup 💄 to remake him into a different character. I don't want to reference tribe but the truth s, a particular people are most notorious for this behaviour in Nigeria. They do not hate or have exception to any vice or wrongdoing for the very nature of it, rather, their disapproval and criticism are based on the identity of the individuals involved. This is why Gringori's wife can be given a pass but not Buhari's or any other person involved with the APC. It is for the same reason their region can give a tribesman 100 percent of their votes but anyone else is forbidden from giving their own half of that. It is why a water fountain built by the government in Aba can be celebrated, whereas a train station in Abuja should never be because it is the government's duty to build such. It is why Gringori can give fifty million naira in donations to a hospital but if the president's wife does the same it amounts to bribery. The list is endless.
