I want to whole heartedly congratulate his Excellency, the former governor of Lagos state, my home state, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the supreme court yesterday. It's a victory well bought and I pray he succeeds in moving Nigeria forward.

A better Nigeria is all we want and time will tell if Tinubu will guarantee us that soonest.

Well, the judgement in favor of Tinubu and APC against the overwhelming evidence of perjury and forgery which should automatically disqualify Tinubu is a verdict on Nigeria.With what that happened today, Nigeria's fate is sealed as a failed nation devoid of morals or dignity.

Tinubu's win at the supreme court is a boost for criminality and everything bad in Nigeria.Students can now proceed to forge academic records without any consequences. Politicians vying for political office can present forged documents to INEC and win election without any consequences.

Tinubu's victory at the supreme court is the final nail to the death of our constitution and what is left of our moral compass as a nation.

In what appears to be a reaction to the verdict of the supreme court over the electoral litigations of the last presidential election, supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour party, popular known as Obidients, have been heard calling for the total destruction of Nigeria.

The call was made in a Space held on the micro blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, by the Obidients.

The video clip of the Space was shared by the estranged friend of the Obidient movement and former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri on his verified Instagram handle.

In the clip, one of the participants was heard practically scolding the rest of the participants saying:

do not invest in Nigeria. Don't let your Dollar or Euro see the light of day in Nigeria. If you wanna give anything, there are multiple apps you can use to change the hard currency into Naira. Let them drown in excess Naira. Let the economy flop, let everything be destroyed!! We can not allow this to go on. We can not be taken for granted. Nothing is working in Nigeria and you think I'm here to play pity party with you. I'm talking to Obidient Biafrans.

Observers like the Op was taken aback, especially with mention of "Obidient Biafrans" as this allegation of the movement being fueled by tribal sentiments has always been denied by the Obidients.

Pray tell, how does the calls for the destruction of the country do any favour to the millions of Nigerians who voted the preferred candidate of the movement? How does it do justice to them? Or are they going to be insulated from the carnage that could ensue from the "destruction of the economy"?

Is this what the LP and it's supporters who claim to love Nigeria and wishes her the best just months ago stand for? Are the cats finally coming out the bags?
