Gbawe:
Thanks Alhaji. There are actually 3 Yorubas on the list. The guy you quoted is an anti-Yoruba bigot well known for his prejudiced utterances here, See as he rushed in to proclaim Otitotu as "middle belt" when she is Yoruba and is even famous for fusing the Yoruba 'aso oke' into her designs. It is obvious ethnicity matters to this guy above merit or anything else.

Naturally he could not stand that Yorubas were in the majority on the list so he had to do 'ojoro' to undercount them, claim a Yoruba as "middle belt" and and then have a dig at Northerners while at it. So much innate prejudice and ethnocentric malice. I swear, most Nigerian youths are worthless in comparison to their peers worldwide. This is why Nigeria is going nowhere lately even with our large population that should give us immense manpower advantage.
Some people are just a threat to the society they live and should be put to sleep before they morph into full blown terrorists!! How could someone turn something as simple as a list of names of entrepreneurs into something to denigrate a tribe or region?? Some post just make me sick to my guts.

One Yoruba one igbo and one middlebelt(otitoju).
So all our northern brothers are almajiri and politician sucking our oil money.
You are the most useless person I've come across since I registered on this forum.

The Richest man in Nigeria and the Whole of Africa happens to be your "northern brother" whose c¤ck you and your household have been sucking since you were born.

Useless SOB.

Thieves. I'm buying none of it. What I see is politicians granting themselves leaves to pay Nigeria N20billion! Who's not aware the managers of these companies are fronting for political bigwigs in the PDP??
Politics › Re: Amaechi Replies Presidency, You Cannot Threaten Me by omenka(m): 6:23am On Oct 28, 2014
The crowd at the Mega Rally sent an enormous shock wave through the presidency and they are yet to recover from it, simple. Even the president himself knows he can scarcely pull such a crowd anywhere in this country.

When the Chisos of Okrika was busy riding roughshod on the governor the president never thought it necessary to call her to order, so why is he pretending to be someone with regards for decorum now??

The unpalatable fate that awaits him in February is as real as sunrise and sunset, and it shall definitely come to pass!!

And when the opposition cautioned that we be wary of the ceasefire and the return of the girls, the saTAN ambassadors wanted to chop their heads off calling them terrorists sponsors who don't mean well for Nigeria!!! Now look at this; they claim a ceasefire is in place yet fighting rages on with casualties on both sides and more innocent men, women and children abducted. They say the girls will be released last week wednesday, we saw no one, they shifted it to monday, yet again, Nada!!!

This government is an embarrassment to the citizens of this country!!

Is Baba now apc member?
No he's a passionate Nigerian who desires to see the country pulled back from the brink of socio-economic catastrophe occasioned by Jonathan's misrule, a task that can be executed by no other party but APC. The rot is just too much and the system can hardly accommodate more shockwaves.

Oil prices are about to hit rock bottom (watched on CNN yesterday where some analyst were predicting $70 per barrel) yet Jonathan and the Gang keep looting with reckless abandon!!

There needs to be a complete turn around in governance and Buhari no doubt is the man for the Job!!
Politics › Re: Fashola For President In 2019? by omenka(m): 6:51am On Oct 27, 2014
JosephsDestiny:
Going to the Senate in 2015 and then coming out to contest the presidential election in 2019 may be possible but still an herculean task. The shortest route to the Presidency and the wisest political move by Fashola and the APC should be him serving as the Vice President with Gen. Buhari as President, that is if they win the 2015 election. Then will he be able to tender a credential that is superior to any other candidate in 2019 because he most certainly will be the de facto President for the 4 years Buhari will serve as President, considering the age and intellectual depth of Gen. Buhari. It's still a long shot though, but I believe Fashola would be a great President if given a chance. What is needed is for various interests and power blocs within the APC and beyond to contain and set aside their interests for the collective interest. All in all, it should be a case of putting forward your best 'hand and brain' and I think Buhari and Fashola fit perfectly into these category respectively.
It is my utmost desire to see a Buhari-Fashola presidential ticket come to fruition, but anyone who takes the advice of Baba for granted is really not doing himself any good. Much as I don't think he's the kind of leader we desire, Baba's got vast experience within and without the Nigerian politcosphere and his input is always a nourishment to wisdom.

So, I think the Progressives, most likely due to Baba's caution, will shop for another vice for Buhari while it won't be bad having someone of Fshola's mould doing push-ups at the Senate.
