What we expect from you instead is clear proof that your thrift app is insured by NDIC and licensed by the CBN. No reasonable person would just deposit money anywhere without proper assurance. |

I do not understand why many people allow emotions to completely override reason whenever situations like this arise. Every time kidnappers release disturbing pictures or videos, the intention is often to create public panic, pressure authorities, and manipulate emotions. Unfortunately, many people react immediately without taking the time to consider the complexities involved. I believe the government and security agencies are working in their own way to secure the release of the captives and return them safely to their families. A direct military assault is not always the best option, especially when innocent victims are being used as human shields by kidnappers. In fact, there have been reports and testimonies suggesting that rescue efforts have been attempted, but such operations are extremely delicate because any mistake could put the lives of the captives at greater risk. Many people fail to appreciate that hostage situations require patience, intelligence gathering, planning, and strategy. Governments cannot simply rush in without carefully assessing the consequences. The ultimate goal is not just to confront the criminals, but to ensure the safe return of those who have been abducted. Furthermore, constantly paying ransom can encourage more kidnappings and strengthen criminal networks. This is why authorities often have to balance immediate public pressure with long-term security considerations. Complex investigations and rescue operations can take months, and in some cases even longer. This is not unique to Nigeria; it happens in many countries around the world. I therefore urge everyone to remain calm and allow the security agencies to do their work. While constructive criticism is important, our anger should be directed primarily at the kidnappers and criminals who created this tragedy in the first place. Let us hold everyone accountable for their actions, support efforts to rescue the victims, and avoid allowing fear, emotion, or propaganda to cloud our judgment. |

Good evening Sir, I hope this message finds you, your family, and your work well. I am writing in regards my need for a personal computer. While I was hopeful that securing my current job would allow me to purchase one by myself, my current financial priorities specifically saving for next year’s rent and managing daily living expenses, have made it difficult to reach that goal as quickly as I planned. As I look toward my professional growth, I am eager to begin my HND-to-BSc top-up lectures and prepare for my upcoming professional examinations. Additionally, I do get opportunities for freelance Microsoft Office projects that would provide a helpful extra income for me, but I lack the necessary equipment to take them on. I am reaching out to see if there is any way you might be able to assist me in acquiring a PC. Having this PC would be a significant turning point for me, allowing me to advance my education and increase my earning potential |
