Will appreciate a response from my teachers (see signature below) if they are in; otherwise, comments from others will be appreciated.

As the bears are packing their bags and baggage ready for departure to give the bulls a spacious space to do their thing I'm arranging a long gun margin to shoot some stocks listed below:

CONTINSURE
EKOCORP
ROYALEX
NEM
MBENEFIT

All, kindly arrange them in the order in which you would shoot (assuming you were in my shoes) and the weight (in %) you would attach to each.

That is still the (unfortunate) case. There was a thread started for us when Seun shut us down in Dec. Can't seemt to find that thread. SMN's style spoils the "flow" and one is always clicking all over the place to get up to speed.

But wetin we go do na?

Thanks Easi, I did save previous files as gif, could you do a trial run with Mobil? Togun has been trying to upload that.
I concore!

aktopgun:
@easi
does SMN have a general forum where we can talk because last i checked we still had to click on individual stocks to talk on them. undecided undecided
We started one during last shut down, here's the link: http://www.stockmarketnigeria.com/forums/nigerian-stock-exchange/770-nigerian-stock-market-tips-10.html#post13991

Omoba3,

try saving your pics as a "GIF" file if you have a photo editor or power point. It really shrinks the file size. Most GIFs from Nig Sec will run around 75kb
Thanks Easi, I did save previous files as gif, could you do a trial run with Mobil? Togun has been trying to upload that.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Market Views by Omoba3(op): 2:22pm On Mar 24, 2008
Houston we have a problem!!!

Seun has reduced the size of the pic files we are able to upload. Max size allowed is 200kb!! shocked huh cry

This means we can't upload files guys. I just tried using the smallest pic size at Nigerian Securities. No Joy! The smallest size is 540kb. May be someone can find a way to make the file size smaller but still big enough for viewing?

In retropect, Seun's cost must have increased since we strated using charts. Hence he isn't saying we can't upload pics, but they can't be bigger than 200kb.

If we can't use pics here, we might be better of using SMN, where we can upload files. Unless Seun increases the file upload size. sad undecided

Really need to pick up a book and learn the candles. From your last reply its evident I need to look beyond only considering the days closing candle as you have rightly highlighted.

I will begin, sure but steady by .

I have some luggage in Betaglass. So I will use this as another opportunity to improve my reading of the candles:

The volume traded on the previous trading day (Tuesday) before Thursday's trading indicates there were more buyers than sellers, but the Sellers were still able to bid down the price. By Thursday's trading day, there were (equal amounts?) or indecision between buyyers and sellers, hence we have a spinning top. Which would indicate that there will be a reversal of the downward trend either by the next trading day or days?.

MACD is trending negative, so also is RSI going down, but Chaikin Money Flow is trending positive. How have I done so far?? smiley grin

Togun: Thanks for your reply. You are a priceless gem.

Since you are my tutor, occasionally you must to tutor your student, abi ke.

Let's start with the redstar chart above, when do you take the previous days candle into consideration? You have highlighted the last candle as a spinning top which I acknowledge, but do the previous days candles in the same chart add to or make a difference to how the spinning top is deciphered?

Togun: Peace at last! grin

What do you think about Redstar? Considering checking out/taking profit.

As we no longer have access to Stockmarket Tips, may be this can hopefully be the interim solution?

What say you about UBA? I remember you having a dialogue a few posts back about a 'frying pan bottom'? I think UBA is exhibiting the direct opposite of the frying pan i.e the dumpling top reversal.
