Chinjo2: Well, only time will tell. A dead body is only a log of wood because it doesn't belong to you. The families of those that have been killed so far will not think like you are thinking right now.
Do you really think Ipob/ESN can defeat the FG? They are just intentionally allowing you guys to destroy your own economy.
...Do you really think IPOB/ESN can defeat FG... They're just intentionally allowing you guys to destroy your own economy " That was your misguided quote.
And you are vacillating over this? Is it a sign of progressive nationhood? When nations are forging ahead to build their nation through inclusivity.
We are not yet serious to build a nascent nation. Otherwise, genesis of these problems will holistically be addressed.
Until FG do the right thing by addressing inherent contradictions in the polity, the country will continue to grope like a ship in the Adriatic sea.
Release KANU and almost all the issues in southeast as per insurgency and criminality is resolved.
pharmagba: In recent times Rufai Oseni have been reckless, partisan, unprofessional and brazenly confrontational both to his guest on Arise TV whenever he perceives a supporter of the Tinubu administration and to Tinubu administration Recent cases abound, all you have to do is to see him on Arise TV. He even concluded the administration is a failure less than 1 year of which it still has remaining 3years! He propagate his personal narratives , enforce his partisan opinion and ever ready to amplify what divides us as a nation to the detriment of the Nigerian nationhood. His utterances and post, I beg to submit are against the basic tenants of journalism. Could it be because of his love for Obi or dislike for Tinubu? Only him could answer!
It's sad anyone who speaks the Truth is anti Tinubu or against the state.
Oseni is a firebrand journalist who says the Truth no matter whose ox is gored. Administration of Tinubu is not getting it right and the country is in serious economic mess. It takes the brave and non partisan to say it. And that what Rufai Oseni of Arise TV is doing.
My salutations to him for his exceptional bravery and professional ism.
Khalling2007: Some Igbo Christians are IPOB terrorists, sympathizers and supporters, deal with them all because they were hailing the IPOB yesterday when they killed the soldiers. By the time Nigeria soldiers deal with you all, then you will remember ICC, UN, NNPC
Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, has recounted his visit to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, at DSS Headquarters Abuja, on 30th of May. Iwuanyawu said he met with Kanu and talked at length. Iwuanyawu said that IPOB has denied involvement in violence, and that whatever insecurity in the East is criminality and not agitation. He said that Nnamdi Kanu is sad and angry that some people may be hiding under agitation to commit criminal acts
He reiterated that Kanu is against the killing of Soldiers, enforcement of sit at home or denying children the opportunity to take exams.
Iwuanyawu said that if IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu were responsible for insecurity in the East, they would not enjoy the widespread support they have today in that area. Iwuanyawu said that Nnamdi Kanu is a manifestation of the discrimination against Igbo people in Nigeria. He reminded the reporters that some Yorubas are asking for Oduduwa Republic, some Ijaws are asking for a seperate country, some Northerners are doing the same, so agitation to leave Nigeria is nothing new. He called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu through a political process
He reiterated that the only way to solve the problem of Nigeria is to restructure the country and give powers back to the federating units so everyone can develop according to their talent. He said that the constitution has given whoever is President of Nigeria too much powers he or she shouldn't have. He ended by saying that if Nigeria refuses to restructure, nothing will change.
Free Nnamdi KANU for sake of peaceful coexistence and national cohesion.
You don't build a stable nation when a segment is fully aggrieved and feel alienated from mainstream administration. Nnamdi KANU represents conscience of Igbo nation and it's imperative you dialogue with him to find what exactly the grievances are. Keeping him in perpetual incarceration will further exacerbate the ill feelings and resentment to Nigerian course.
It's not only Nnamdi KANU. Other separatist agitators across the country should be called to round table meeting for meaningful dialogue and resolution.

anonymous1759: If I become president my first Agenda is to give you ppl Your 5 states. you think I’m happy sharing the same space with hate filled people like you ?
Not too late. You could suggest to the mandate thief to let the people go. He will have your ears.
Khalling2007: Maybe you didn't see the jafar jafar message or you refused to use your glasses that he passed tribal message. Is it only the northern are in alaba rago or what? So because of the northern area in Alaba Rago, the govt should not develop the state, have you ever been to the place before, if you visited you will know the reason why the govt demolished the place for new development.
I have been to Alaba Rago. The market is like any other Nigerian market. So, nothing different.
Demolitions should have human face. Not to put people in trouble and pains. The demolition in Araba Rago has taken its toll. Mrs Sanya, a Rice merchant has lost her life because of the shock arising from the demolition. Her N50 million sales for the week she kept in the shop were brazenly stollen during the demolition. She passed out.
Only three days notice were given to evacuate the place. Why only three days?
Lagos state government should take a second look at the demolitions across the state. The people are getting poorer with this spate of demolitions.
Posterity will not forgive Lagos state government for the demolitions in a most bizarre manner in the state.
toneroforever: Let's not make it a party thing. If the place is too filthy then a responsible govt has to step in and restore sanity. Las las our northern brothers need to ensure there trading environments are hygenic.
So, farmers can go back to farm unscathe, undisturbed by the terrorists.
There's limit to Eye-service. Nigeria is still battling insurgency and Bokoharam scourge. A holistic approach is needed to demystify the scourge. Not empty campaigns and rhetorics.
Nigeria is still in anomie and under Bokoharam insurgency.
Okwyjesus: Am honestly disappointed at this nation and how we look the other side on issues of national concern.
Call the lgbos to dialogue table and address their issue . Igbos need Nigeria, Nigeria need lgbos. How can govt pretend but they have time to debate Anthem and pass it to law and no time to discuss lgbos issue, give Kanu state pardon, step up plans for lgbo presidency and WATCH AGITATION DIE NATURAL DEATH.
Thumb up! You have Said it all. The hypocrisy of a nation 😭
fnep2smooth: people are passing, also hailing them. that shows that the people are in support of them.
This is a strong message , the government need to dialogue with this guys. if the people can be seen moving freely what do you think if all the masses pick up guns to start fighting the government.
You are right. Government should dialogue with them. And not gunboat diplomacy.
Nwamazi8: Several soldiers were killed or ran away while their patrol vans were burnt as seem from the video. A lone surviving Nigerian soldier could be seen trying to hide from the rampaging Biafran gunmen.
For heaven's sake, Let federal government resolve this issue once and for all.
Tinubu should apply executive Fiat as a President and release Nnamdi KANU to Eastern Leaders under strict instructions that he will be of good behavior.
Such magnanimity should be extended to other separatist agitators across the country. This is necessary to ensure peaceful polity. Without peace there can't be progress.
Insecurity in the Land could be attributed to injustices. This needs to be addressed.
I pray there's no implosion in the Land because within the military architecture there are personnel in solidarity with dissident forces who feels aggrieved about leadership of the country.
Khalling2007: So because the market was dominated by the northern, the Lagos state govt should not develop the state.
Go back to your state and continue your nuisance there. Have you ever seen Yoruba commit a nuisance in the north or anywhere in the country, I beg, let's hear the word.
The only thing you can do is to block all foodstuff that enters the southwest. You can't do anything with the election because your only northern vote will never produce the presidency in this country, if I'm lying, ask Buhari.
Why so tribal.
Your rant is uncalled for and unwarranted. Address issues on ground without bringing ethnic sentiment and primordial considerations.
Watianoengineer: Did Peter Obi not demolish northerners business when he was governor? The Lagos government just followed the footsteps of Obi. The northerners are right to complain but they should channel their anger towards Obi who started with the trend
Lazy and slowpoke who failed to answer questions about Araba Rago market demolitions but pin it to Obi who has no business with the demolitions of the market.
You won’t hear things like misplaced priority, These set of people condemning government acts are showing their true reflection of how they’ll treat other tribes when they’ve power ! Everything will centered and be good in their region but bad in other’s.
what a myopic representation!
If you don't trust people who are part of the warped federalism, you call for referendum to determine their suitability or otherwise to be in the Union.
The people wants to go. And you are the one holding them back to stay.
beerfraud: Can they ever be grateful Some uninformed people below shouting that it is a private aviation school if it was not approved by Tinubu it won’t have seen the light of the day
Everything ibos own in Lagos are not up 3% of Dangote refinery in monetary values
Wh told you that. Igbos own over 30% businesses in Lagos. Find out.
Do you notice property sales and investments in Lagos is nosediving because of Lagos state government nebulous philosophy on investments? Almost taking shape of Warri.
Ezmans: omonile, baale, oba, area boys, lga, state, taske force, pollution, health hazard, water contamination we have all these levies & still want investors to come
Businessman Ayiri Emami reveals Ajayi Crowther student beaten to death is a Prince in Uvwie and Warri kingdom
Businessman, Ayiri Emami, has revealed that the 200-level student of the Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) in Oyo State, identified as Alex Timileyin, who was allegedly beaten to death by a group of students for allegedly stealing a mobile phone, is a prince in Uvwie and Warri kingdoms in Delta state.
It was earlier reported that the late Timileyin was beaten to his death in his hostel known as Shepherd Inn on the school premises on Saturday, May 25, 2024. A video posted online showed the deceased rolling on the floor while other students were beating him with sticks. The school authorities have since expelled the indicted students and handed them over to the police.
The incident has sparked widespread condemnation with many calling for the prosecution of the students.
In a video he recorded on Sunday, Ayiri mentioned that the deceased is a Prince in both Uvwie and Warri kingdom and called on the Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, to ensure that the matter is not swept under the carpet.
Investigations show that the Late Timileyin was the son of Princess Antonia Emiko, daughter of Olu Erejuwa II (1951-1986), and an aunt of the current Olu of Warri. He was also a first cousin of His Majesty, Ogíamè Atuwatsé III CFR, the Olú of Warri Kingdom.
AAyiri Emami should be careful not to exacerbate the situation. His threat can't bring Alex back to life. Peaceful resolution is the answer.
We sympathise with the family for losing a loved one. But threats of retaliation is not the answer. And can never be the answer.
But if Ayiri wants to cry more than the bereaved,he will be dealt with in a professional and incisive skill. He should remember how he was dealt with by Tompolo Boys in 1996 Ijaw/Itshekiri crisis.
JagabanB: And Obi's lines are full of what? You have any idea about my ethnic background? All the points I raised, did it mention anything about ethnic affiliation or you want to project your mindset on people?
You can dialogue with the marines.
You're full of hate. Not broad-minded. So,I won't engage you further.
