His Royal Highness (HRH) Patrick Igbinidu, the Iyase of Udo, in Ovia South West Local Government Area, yesterday, endorsed the reelection of Governor Obaseki, promising to mobilise his subjects to vote for Him and His deputy, Rt. Hon. Comr. Philip Shaibu.

Receiving the Governor and other members of the Edo Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council, HRH affirmed that they have done well for Edo people in his first term and will be reelected to continue with the developmental strides.

The Iyase commended the Governor's administration for the laudable projects executed across the length and breadth of Udo Ward, and the ongoing revamp of College of Agriculture, Iguoriakhi.

The monarch also criticized those against Governor Obaseki reelection and assured the team that the over 70 chiefs and 45 Odionweres (village heads) under him were all behind His and would continue to pray for his success in the coming election.

Today, the People Governor Godwin Obaseki led other members of the Edo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign train to Eguaholor Community in Uhunmwode Local Government Area.

While addressing party faithful during th campaign rally in Eguaholor Ward 7, the Governor promised to scale up developmental projects in the area and across the state, which would improve the wellbeing of Edo people.

He assured the people that construction work on the Eguaholor access road would commence in the dry season and that His administration would initiate agricultural programmes in their area upon my reelection.

The Governor reelection also got a major boost as the campaign team received the Ward 7 Chairman of an opposition party, Mr. Naguda Osaretin, who decamped to the PDP with many of his supporters.

Addressing the crowd of mostly women and youths, The Governor thanked organizers of the campaign rally, the Edo Voters Volunteers Assembly (EVVA), for mobilizing my supporters from across the 12 wards in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State.

He further appealed to the supporters not to partake in any act of criminality in the build up to the election but to report such to the authorities, using a dedicated phone number.

He also promised that upon His reelection, my government would perform better than in his first term, as we would have succeeded in liberating Edo people from those who wish to take us back to ills of our past.

Today, it was a harvest of defectors in Dagbala Town, located in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, as the campaign trail of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), received a colourful reception of supporters and former members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Leader of the decampees and former leader in the APC, Moses Dada Promise, hailed my administration's landmark achievements in all sectors of the state and declared their support for my re-election. Dada assured that the people of Dagbala will, on September 19, 2020, vote en masse to ensure we continue with our developmental strides across Edo State, by voting for the PDP.

I promised the people of Dagbala that the Ojirami Dam built by the late Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia will work again.

Ojirami Dam was built by late Samuel Ogbemudia many years ago and I am worried that the dam is not working; I want to make it work again.

I have brought engineers to help us with designs for the dam. The Ugboha Dam is already functional and supplying water to the people of that locality. The engineer that worked on it is already working to ensure we revive the Ojirami Dam.

I also promised to open up the area with link roads and solve the power problem by linking the community to Okpella, so that the people can pump water from the Ojirami Dam to their homes.
