I was at the consulate today , I saw the way people were denied , I was shocked.

Mine was a bit different.

The consular didn't ask many questions else he was interested in what I do. He was friendly and we even joked.

He told me congratulations, gave me white paper but said my visa might take up to a week because there was a mark that I've visited the US before for studies which I never did.

He also said it happens but they joke need to do some checks.

He told me congrats again when I was leaving.

What do you think of this ?
You have at least one leg in America, the lady that attended to me was brutal. Through out our conversation she didn't look at me at all, she was forming busy with her computer.

Hello House, I have joy TV, Daarsat and DS** on my qsat 13g+. Yesterday while watching Joy TV the signal just went bad. All I'm seeing in bad signal, I reconnect the cable to no avail. I even reset my decorder all to no avail. I now use connect the cable to the original DSTV decorder to my surprise there was signal but if I connect it to qsat decorder its giving me bad signal. House what could be the problem and possible solution.

Thanks

davodyguy: Lets do some maths here

Dongle purchases
1) Qsat January 2014 N17,000 to expire in December 2014 (3 months to enjoy)
2) Azsky g1 super January 2014 N7000 expired in March 2014
3) A+ February 2014 N7000 expired in March 2014
4) Strong decoder January 2014 N11,500 will never expire on FTA
5) Universal Modern May 2014 N6500 will never expire and can be used on System
6) Speed S1 HD May 2014 N16,000 to expire in May 2015 (9 months to enjoy)
Total investment to date N65,000

D****** premium at 11,600 x 8 months = N92,800

Honestly choice is yours to make

IF one buys Esat again this morning, which will take me closer to what i should have paid to D******

Its not by force but by choice. One could have gone for paytv and but chose what one chose

In the office, I paid N120,000 to D***** for premium 1 year service May 2014 t0 May 2015. In my office its full pay tv

So I've spent almost N200,000 to watch TV for 1 year.

Nigeria is a big Country grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Your calculation is somehow. Are you telling us everybody on this forum pay that much.
I only purchase the Qsat in April and I've since installed Joytv and Daarsat on it, If D*** channels are not working I simply switch to those other FTA and if its time for live match and the D*** stations are down, I just take 100 and head to the nearest viewing center shikena.

sgbola1: how do u do the setting of the Hotspot on BlackBerry Z10 in order for the decoder to detect it and connect to server. Please do help
You will need to purchase a wifi adapter (its like a flash drive) which you will connect to the back of your decorder then put on your hotspots and connect to it from the Ethernet configuration choosing wifi instead of gprs.

PoliticsRe: Unending Reconstruction, Unending Agony On Lagos-Badagry Expressway by omonla5: 5:24pm On Apr 24, 2013
Goddex: You are the one lying.
If they are serious why don't they commence construction at different points at the same time? For a road that started abou four years or so ago with so much hype and propaganda, they have only done Orile - Mile 2. Fashola is more interested to commence tolling. He has completed just about 3% of the road and has mounted 3 giant toll buiildings already. Infact, the toll buildings were the first to be built. Shame on all those crooks in Alausa!!!!
I commend you for your observation on the road but let me correct some of things on that road.
To start with in road construction a long stretch that is more than 20km are always awarded in batches, in engineering its called LOT. The entire road was divided into 3 lots or so. Lot 1 is from Iganmu to 1st gate which is almost completed Lot 2 is from 1st game to Okokomaiko which was just awarded recently while lot 3 is from Okoko to Badagry. So they can't award the whole contract at a go but by bits so that it can be accommodated in the Budget.

On the toll gate issue, truth is the road will be tolled but there's just one tolling point along the 1st Lot which is located at coker bustop the other places that you think are meant for toll gates are actually train stations. And you will find it at orile bustop, ALABA bustop and mile2 bustops.

The contract for that road was awarded to Julius Berger while the rail track was sublet by Julius Berger to CCECC but I dont know what happen along the line that make JB give the entire project to CCECC but my understanding is that JB opt out because of the misunderstanding on who will foot the bill between the FG and LASG and if you look at the fact that the LASG is still depending on the FG refund some money to it on some road. Its a complicated issue.

pheesayor: FERMA already tod they've awarded contracts for those portions you mentioned, sincere9gerian simply shot himself in the by trying to condemn Fashola
I can testify to the above statement, some portion of th. Road after Agbara are undergoing repair (patching) both sides of the road.
PoliticsRe: Unending Reconstruction, Unending Agony On Lagos-Badagry Expressway by omonla5: 1:41pm On Apr 24, 2013
As a civil engineer that has worked with both state and federal government. Though I've not seen the BEME for this project but I can authoritatively inform you that part of the contact when an existing road is to be reconstructed is for the contractor to first make the bad portions motorable in order to allow for free flow of traffic. The contractor on that project is doing its best but its not just good enough it might be due to lack of fund I don't know. Its unfortunate that the correspondent limited his findings to iyana iba. The road is better to just after barracks. From after barracks to volks turning is an eye sore. After Volkswagen you have a good ride to after Agbara. After oko áfo heading towards mowo, aradagun, barracks, limca up to badagry roundabout is a nightmare. What I found interesting is that the road from badagry roundabout to semester border is in top shape.
All in all Lagos state government is trying but the Lagos Badagry expressway is in bad shape.
I praise those still driving on that road.

Nairaland GeneralMy Shirts… My Vanity, Our Economic Prosperity By by omonla5(op): 10:54pm On Nov 21, 2012
I have noticed with pleasure the fact that many of my friends like my dressing and dress-sense. I get a sense of satisfaction and yes, sometimes I show off a bit. Nothing wrong in a little vanity from time to time. I am proud of my dressing and even prouder about 2 facts: 1. my clothes are made in Nigeria and more particularly in Aba and 2. they are made by my own brother and friend, Chukwuemeka Nwachukwu (Towill Creations) a member of this group. I admit I might be doing a bit of marketing for him but then, if we dont promote our own, who will?

Let me tell us about Emeka a bit… at just about 30 years old, Emeka a few years back went to Libya to seek his fortune. After several troubles and turmoil, he came back home to Aba and started making shirts at market road. and with a steady rise, he has carved a niche for himself in impeccable tailoring. Emeka I am aware makes at least 4 shirts everyday (sometimes more). But taking just 4 shirts as a theoretical case point, a shirt commands about N5,000 a piece. thats a gross of N20,000 a day or N6 Million in 300 days almost single-handedly. And at a 30% profit, he pockets a tidy N1.8million a year or more directly N150,000 a month. Does these figures arouse your interest? Then wait, the best jist is yet to come.

What if Government got involved? How? Small Cottage industry cluster for 100 tailors. with 2,000 square meters of floor space and provision for ancillary services, just 30 hectares of land will be required to create this cluster. Now numbers… with industrialized tailoring, production can actually jump to 100 shirts a day. and even with a reduced selling price due to large scale production and improved margin of production, gross becomes N300,000 a day and N90 Million in 300 days. For the 100 tailors its a gross of N9 Billion in gross per annum. Do I have your interest now? Good! Each tailor pockets a mouthwatering N27 Million per annum in profits alone not to mention the exposure it affords these tailors.

We are all aware that most of the best made cloths worn in Nigeria are sewn in Aba. but what has the Government done to improve on this? Nothing! While 100 cloths a day is just the lowest limit to what tailoring can generate, This in an industry when fully harnessed can place Aba on the map as the Milan of Africa and generate at least 5 times the projections contained herein… thats N45 Billion per annum in simple English: with at least 30% of this amount being retained by Government. Employment for at least 2,000 youths will be guaranteed and there will be boundless opportunities to grow and expand. Tailors around the country will come to Aba to seek Gold. Complimetary cottage industries can grow as a result (Button makers, thread makers). The real demand for textile mills will be created since a minimum of 40% of N45Billion will be spent on fabrics alone (N18 Billion).

And all these are realizable with just Government direct involvement in the form of equipment, infrastructure, the enhancement of trade opportunities for the tailors and the creation of these industries. Well, with the knowledge thus shared, I think its time to go and look good… my vanity, someone’s success!

I've been playing this game on my laptop for a week now, the graphic is good, the commentary is better than PES and the atmosphere is good but I just don't understand the moves at all.
Difficult to dribble pass player
Your player can tackle the opponent (will just be dancing in front of the opponent)
The shooting are so tame and when you press it harder na over the bar.

Maybe its cos am new to it but for now I will continue with my PES 13 till I get accustomed to FIFA
