My people, I wish to confirm that I and my family members were granted skilled select permanent 189 visa this night. I called my case officer to enquire about my application status and he told me he would go through my documents and get back to me. when I parleyed with them, I went to no end to explain svp to them, but nothing you say ever makes sense to those mofos, they insist on doing things their own way and that is level 3.
well I went and did it myself, svp and the rest is history.

Yea, been pretty unsure where to apply to yet. Intend applying to TAFE NSW Graduate Diploma IT, also a private provider in Sydney ~Australian institute of technology. Medical will be done in two weeks time.

Yes,please do that but ensure both sign each of theirs. I mean their sponsorship letters, if you can secure affidavit of support, that will be the icing on the cake.

thanks ferdi, my problem now is sponsor's account statement. People don't like giving out such details. But is it allowed to use two sponsors with different account statements? Just incase I can't find one person with such an ammont in one account.

I pray this continues so that we can help those coming after us. I got an offer from TAFE NSW to study nursing in February. I intend to pay my fees next week.

DIBP don come again ooo!!! Go and read their new release... www.immi.gov.au/students/whats_new.htm ... Assessment level 3 applicants can't afford the pleasure of non family members providing fund for them again.. Your fund must be provided by a close relative.... O di kwa very risky... but that's not a bad news for self sponsored applicants or applicants funded by genuine family member cos the financial evidence required has been reduced from 18 months to 12 months. Read for yourself...

Honestly it's going to be tight. you have a few options, either work in the aged care as a carer when you study and maybe they might consider sponsoring you, without sponsorship you do not stand a chance except the rules change.

Like I said earlier, the assurance one has of PR is 2 years of study without that there is no guarantee to be honest. Unless you study for 2 years or if a facility is willing to sponsor you, you might not stand a chance.

It's Sydney a very big and busy city with a lot of nurses there with experience they can choose from.

you might be lucky enough to get sponsored but I'm just being honest here
