I was with officers today at immigration office and they never discuss anything like that, rather, they were congratulating us and telling us how the training will be like. If there's anything like cancellation the media houses would have rained it to nigerians and not from your secondary school cert immigration staff.

Please be mindful of what you say because not all whom you think applied for NIS jobs with SSCE are just ordinary secondary school certificate immigration staff like you thought. The condition of jobs today in Nigeria has made a lot of people to use SSCE in search of job. Please be very mindful of your words. That God has favoured you does not mean you should mock at others who do not carry same grace as you.

go and find out. Like I said, an immigration officer called from Asaba and gave me the information. I've also tried to reached several persons who said is true. Why don't you try and fine out before you start all these insults? We should learn to address issues when people bring them up for clarification.

The whole NIS process has been cancelled. Senate has refused to sign the appointment letter. I got this information from an immigration office early this morning. Kindly find out if this information is true. Thank you.

please don't cause confusion in the house. The names written in capital letters were written in capital letters in the name of those shortlisted for CBT. Those same names are also written in capital letter for those who qualified for the interview. What it simply means is that during the process of applying, they filled their forms in block letters. To be sure, copy some of those names written in capital letters for the CBT and check for those whose name is written in capital letters that went for the interview. Its the same. Be careful house you pass info here please

Yes. There is a JSSCE certificate. Go to your secondary school and inquire

Get some little info about customs, civil defence, prisons, know who the minister of internal affairs is, ... Especially, the names of their bosses and when they were formed. Like police for instance was formed 1930, immigration 1958 from the police, customs I think is 1891 not too sure but please check to confirm the date. NDLEA boss is Amadu Giade... Kindly look these up. They might help.

If you are so sure your height wasn't up to? Why spend so much time and energy applying and going through the CBT and all that? Anyways, I advice you give it a try

Be optimistic. Have faith in God and ensure your have the right requirements. This is going to be different and I'm so sure of it. Don't panic. Just relax and be yourself. Don't allow tension to come in at all and never allow any one to intimidate you. Be firm but very calculative. Say only what you are sure off. God bless you.

I feel they are going to take height measurement, chest measurement, checking your original credentials to see if they match that which you submitted online. Just ensure that you have all the right documents at hand. Do not forget to go with photocopies of your credentials and a recent passport photograph just in case they demand for it.

Who have a clue of how many people were shortlisted for the interview?...it seems everyone that wrote the test got the invite.

Not every one got the invite. More than half the number that took the CBT didn't get an invite.

Once you have your local government of origin you are covered. Its one and the same thing.
