Prime fc renamed as Osun united
Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Prime Football Club has officially been renamed Osun United Football Club by owners, the State Government of Osun.
Osun Government takes over the full responsibility of funding and ownership of the team in December 2012, having transitioned the process of change of ownership with former owner Oshogbo Local Government.
It will be recalled Oshogbo LG backed out of the club, due to the huge financial implication involved in running the team.
The club has now been rebranded with a new logo as Osun United.

Former Nigeria Football Federation Secretary General, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, keeps his position as the Chairman of the club alongside other board members.
Ogunjobi explained that the name adjustment was approved by the state governor, Engineer Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, to create community identity, and supporters’ followership.
The team will now be wearing new and refreshing state colour jerseys designed by official kit supplier of team and the leading kit manufacturers in Nigeria, OWU Sportswear Venture.

NPFL side, Rivers United continued their awesome pre-season form as they beat the Villarreal B team side by a lone goal on Wednesday in a friendly game.
Guy Kuemian's solitary strike in the 24th minute was enough to give the "Pride of Rivers" a morale booster.

Rivers United last Sunday had emerged champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 4 in Enugu.
The competition featured three other football clubs that will represent Nigeria in Caf club competitions in 2017; Enugu Rangers, Wikki Tourists and FC Ifeanyiubah (FCIU).

So I was coming back from minna with a friend, when we got to Suleja Niger state we stopped by Ecobank Atm to get some cash, but to my shocking surprise I saw a man looking rough and unkept also on the cue waiting, but that's not the it, the main suprise was another man sitting by the small back wall demarcation smoking, (twas Majek)
I tried my best to take this few shots, anyways the Atm was not dispensing cash anymore so we decided to go inside the bank premises cos that one was outside and, when I entered the bank I turned back only to see them leaving the arm spot and strolling crossing the main road, the guy on dread with him was the one who became the traffic Worden who stopped vehicles for Majek, saw them going till I lost Em, MY question is, what is Majek doing in Suleja??
