However, does anyone know how we can match our qualification to the corresponding job from shell website?

Thanks.

ok guys, i just received the email tonight

The position you applied for 2015 Graduate Field Engineer - Gabon - 1423785 is no longer available.

We will retain your candidate file in our database and may inform you of job openings that match your profile if you selected this option. We also invite you to visit the Baker Hughes Career Section at www.bakerhughes.com/careers.

We thank you for your interest in Baker Hughes.

Best regards,

the game is over, have a good one

Hi, I am from Gabon as well and I have come here to confirm that I received the same email.
In my case, I was on the verge of attending the BHE, we were 10 selected for the event.
We filled tge the fibal form with passport photos and updated cv.
The email I received today said that the Graduate Field engineer position for Gabon, which I applied for has been "CANCELLED".
I wrote 'CANCELLED" in capital letters to emphasize on the fact that I passed succesfully every stage of the recruitment process which would imply that Bakerhughes has cancelled every graduate field engineer position all over the world.

Let's be strong and move on!!!!!

This forum has been great!!!

The forum is dead at this moment and we all know why . However, I hope that those with fresh informations will keep others informed, as there are still people with the "Evaluation in progress" notification.

Cheers to everybody!!!!

From what is being said by fellow nairalanders, now it can be said with certainty the process has not been stopped and that we just have to be patient...

Hi all! I applied a little over 4 months ago and last i heard from them was regarding my english test couple of days ago. Considering I am from a non-English speaking country, I sat the assigned test within the 5 day frame.

Having passed it, i have yet to hear back from them regarding BHE. From scrolling thru most posts in glassdoor, whirlpool au and ofcourse Nairaland, I feel that the process will take a bit more time than one would hope for. Therefore, my sincere advice is that: Don't lose hope and if any of us make it, it'd be pretty cool to make connections with future BH employees from around the globe! In the mean time, look at other prospects or temporary engagements.

if any of you hear back from BH, please keep this part of the forum alive.

Regards,
Ice1990

Where are you from? And when exactly (month) did you write the english test?

Hey fellas,
After consulting my account today, I just observed that a new section "for emails sent to you by BH" has been added, where you can have access to emails sent you so far.Which could mean that they had a look at our accounts.I know for sure that that section for emails was not there before (last week).
However, who can confirm this observation?
Sorry, I know that is not you want to hear....but keep hope...

Cheers

Hi Nykster,

Congratulation for being a BH employee. However thanks for your information. I will update the forum if I hear anything from my recruiter (so far no news from them though sad )

Hi Nykster,
Have you attended BHE first? What country are you from?

I was offered a job with Baker Hughes, yet when I log onto my profile (on a computer), it says "Declined". On a cellphone "Complete". I would hazard a guess and say it isn't an issue. But rather contact your recruiter and find out whether your application is still under consideration.
When did it happened? Did you attend BHE first?

Are you American? I'm not too sure how valid "Interview In Progress" is. Have you tried contacting BH office where you are?
Interview in progress or evaluation in progress, just means that your file is still being considered for the job.

Same thing here. Only difference is when I check on my cellphone it says "Completed", computer "Declined". I don't think it's anything to worry about on account of it being "Inactive". Do you have American citizenship?

No I don't have American citizenship.

I received this email on November 23. I am from India. I applied for North America.

Dear Abedin:

Congratulations, you have successfully passed the initial interview for the 2015 Graduate Field Engineer - 1423540 position. At this time you are eligible but not guaranteed an opportunity to attend a Baker Hughes Experience. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for these unique events.

If you are extended an invite to a Baker Hughes Experience, it will be sent to the e-mail address within your profile at www.bakerhughes.com/graduate.

Thank you for your interest in Baker Hughes.

As you are originally from India, I think you should have applied for Field Engineer India 2015
..You are being considered for the country Iin which you are eligible to work without restriction. Which where no work permit or visa will required to you.

Hi,

I am Abedin from Las Vegas,USA. I am new in this forum. Whatever, I applied for BH Graduate Field Engineer 2015 position in USA on October, 2014. I passed the video interview last month, and on November 23 received emails from Baker Hughes saying that to wait for the BHE test. But I just checked my status in the online application system, it is showing 'Application declined by Baker Hughes'. Also the job status is showing as Inactive. Guys, do anyone have any idea what's going on? please share. Thanks
When did you receive the email saying you should wait for the BHE? Where are you from originally? And what country did you apply for?
