Well I believe it is up to him but however I see behind these words. He certainly knows the current level of systemic decay in the various sectors and level of corruption and insecurity and with the coalition he is going into, the different interests he will need to carry along and percify, what can he possibly do in that 4 years. I just want to lend my 10cents to the resent events in the country regarding the just concluded and released JAMB result and it's aftermath.

I agree quite well with the digitization process of the admission matriculation examinations, surfice it that at this present age and time the requisite exams for admission into tertiary institutions of learning in the country be still conducted manually. The gains that JAMB has made over the years particularly in the reduction of "miracle centers" are worthy of emulation by other standardised exam certification bodies.

However, the incident of the 2025 JAMB exams leaves so much questions for our attention as this shows the lapses for improvement. Firstly the need for a thorough in-house analysis of computer based data outputs by qualified certified data analyst. There would have been an obvious glear of this glitch had a set of analysts ran through the results in comparison with previous years output. This analysis would have suggest an anomal in the result trend which could easily have been dictected. The office of the statistican general of the federation should be involved in this regards. As a matter of national urgency data management for all examination results at exit classes should be undertaken and properly analysed before release to help uphold the public's confidence in the body.

If my memory serves well there has never been a JAMB resit in this country before so for someone who might have studied hard and given a failed result occasioned by error via a glitch to have committed suicide tells much about the mental state of most of our students. As such maybe a resit clause be enshrined in JAMB examination law.

This suicide case underscores the need for parents guardians and teachers alike to be very sensitive to issues pertaining to mental health and its indicators for proactive preventive measures.
