Africans have organisational problems. US is also a diverse country right from independence, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil etc also have diversity so why are they making progress? Proves that diversity is not the issue or an excuse for non development.
All those countries except brazil has one Major ethnicity with other minority. Brazil itself is still a developing nation with high poverty rate and that because it's also has a diversity problem.

Africa's case is different. Nobody wants to be seen as a minority. Every group wants to be at the top. That's why the African continent has major number of civil wars.

That is not an excuse. What of Malaysia and Singapore that have a combination of Malays, Chinese, Indians and other ethnic groups as citizens?
Diversity cannot stop a determined people from development. Nigeria is not a serious nation.
Brother, Diversity is a huge problem and it play a stonge role in development. Have you noticed how Africa, although not the largest continent has the largest number of countries? In each countries, There are different other ethnic group and almost each of these ethnic groups are struggling flto have their own country? and with these, There is no progress anywhere.
PhonesRe: How Can You Rationally Justify Spending N600,00 On A Phone? by OneKinGuy(m): 3:19pm On Sep 29, 2019
GeoAfrikana:
We work hard to earn money, so it's rational for us to spend our money on only products/services that (we believe) will add value to our lives.

Yesterday, I heard of a phone that costs #600k. The first question that came to my mind was:

what will I enjoy from this phone that my Google Pixel won't give?

So I decided to throw this question to the house.

How can you rationally justify spending #600k on a phone?

Thanks.
Look at it this way. You said you use a Google pixel right? I don't know which particular model you use but I can bet that the pixel you use cost nothing less than 150k. I use a phone of 60k and I can never spend more than 80k on a phone. Now, me seeing you spend more than 150k on a phone is the same thing you see on someone who spend about 600k on a phone. So what am saying is thst all is justified as long as you have the money.
