Hello abujaniv,

Please i will like to know if its a crime to stay in the US beyond my visa expiry date even when i was stamped in to stay for 6months, for instance visa expires jan 30th but was stamped in till april 30th. Will it be a crime to leave in february when visa expired in january?

Hello great people,

Been a silent reader on this wonderful thread and so it's time to give back. Arrived jfk on sunday afternoon using wheel chair service infact the wheel chair was used all the way from paris so that helped to save a lot of energy.

Time for the miraculous poe experience at jfk;

Cbp:hello ma'am
Me:Goodafternoon
Cbp:so why are you here?
Me: on vacation and to have my baby
Cbp:how much do you have?
Me: $8200
Cbp: does that cover your bills
Me: yes it does
Cbp:ok make sure you pay your bills,place ur fingers on the scanner.

Didn't send me for any other screening. while I was waiting for some guy to help pick up my luggages,their dog walked up to my bag and started barking,that was how I landed in agriculture. Checked but nothing removed! Off to chicago today!

I appreciate you all for your wonderful contributions and comments, they helped a lot!

@dkingsgirl,

Please which hospital are you using in chicago?

Your story is almost as mine if not same. I had already gotten my visa appointment for 29th June before I stumbled on the thread, since then I followed through made some research, went for the appointment was successful. Travelled 11 Sep with AF to Chicago. Point of entry same story as yours only that I dropped most of my documentation with him. I was called back like an hour later and given my passport. Told to ensure I get a my receipts as I will be needing them if I am returning.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed meaningfully to this thread. It has really helped, am sure there are a lot other silent followers. Thanks![/quote]
