That is where you get it wrong,HE IS FROM LAGOS STATE.In case you don't know,our constitution recognizes indigenship by birth and marriage,so for a man born and bred in Epe over 50 years ago,he is from Lagos.Let the go and try their luck at the court,Ambode will still and floor them easily pour sand in their mouths like he did in the primaries.They will only make ignorant laughing stock of themselves.

I have lived in Lagos now for over fifteen years and I know I have more more vibrant and active political contributions in Lagos than most of those that keep mouthing Ambode is from Togo,his mother is from Ondo.I don't even want to go into where his mother was from originally or otherwise,but the fact is that Akin Ambode was born in Epe over 50 decades ago,he has lived and worked in Lagos all his life,so he is a bonafide LAGOSIAN and in my opinion,anybody that thinks otherwise has nothing serious or important to say.
Ah ah,for crying out loud,a whole America wey naija women dey run go deliver,the babies dey become yankee citizen,not to talk of small Lagos in small Nigeria that in any case,the constitution says that 10 years unbroken residency and tax payment is all that is required for even me to contest to be governor,na him so peeps dey here dey yan opata about a whole Akinwunmi Ambode,omo Epe gan.

My final opinion is that as long as this man was born in Epe,over 50 years ago and he grew up there,the only time he left Lagos was when he went to secondary school in FGC Waffi and returned to Lagos for Uni educationand he has worked in Lagos all his life,then he is a BONAFIDE CITIZEN of Lagos state and anybody claiming the contrary must be very high on exhaust fumes and excreta fumes as well

there is more to governance than blowing grammar.... if an incumbent who is doing great decides to choose his successor , it should be welcomed . hamzat may perform but it does not mean ambode cannot perform also . whoever emerges , I think they should just work together just as the case of obama and hilary ... it was a tough choice but they still succeeded together.
