Princedapace: But why arent northerners found many in stuff like this? Like what is really the problem? U rarely will find them making such news even in developed countries, u rarely will find them in tech startups, educational news such as these are usually dominated by southern Nigeria, mainly Igbos and yorubas. It is even crazy that an ethnic group like Igbos who lost everything in civil war, started afresh, extremely maginalized, still rose to this level in human development, this beats my imagination for an ethnic group from the northern part of Nigeria to not become very competitive after ruling and dominating the entire politics of this country. I really think if u remove north from Nigeria, the country may really grow for real judging from verse human development they have attained in the field of merit and competency. What is really the issue with Northern Nigeria when it comes to the field of competency, merit driven society? The situation in the North is very complex, and none of the leaders has had the courage to challenge the rotten system. |

naptu2: There are people who don't know the meaning of the word bigotry. They believe that bigotry means that you don't agree with them.
Ask them to provide evidence that you are a bigot and they'll run away like that guy.
Yet if you go through their posts you'll find that they regularly attack entire ethnic groups, races and religions and they use all kinds of slurs.
Don't take them seriously because they are not serious people. Thanks |

How many of those churches burnt in the north have been compensated? I've seen churches burnt during post election violence, yet nothing was done. The church members had to contribute money and rebuilt their church.

givedemwotowoto: This is not necessary. They pay taxes and employ people.
Start companies that will compete with them. As long as these companies match or exceed their quality, employees and revenues eventually flow from company SA to company NG. Nigerians will patronize who offers better quality and will naturally prefer NG products that match the quality of SA products. Let things remain capitalist and competitive.
Introduce additional taxation if their headquarters are in SA and they pay most of their taxes abroad.
If the SA owners send most of their personal income back to SA which means they’re not reinvesting profits on the country where they earned the money, that’s capital flight, tax them more. Good one bro |

AMINDA: The truth is that an Atiku presidency will assemble the best minds to administer this country. Under the Obasanjo presidency, he and Obasanjo had a young and formidable team comprising of Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Nasir El-Rufai, Oby Ezekwesili and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the engine room of their presidency. Even Nuhu Ribadu was later scouted and brought in to run the newly created EFCC. Many of us thought a Tinubu presidency will replicate that given the team he put together in Lagos but it ended up being an all-Lagos affair with politics and cronyism taking the place of competence and capacity. Nothing will change with Atiku, they are all the same |
