The awakening taking place in Northern Nigeria is heart warming. Tinubu has succeeded in uniting the northern Christians and Muslims with bad Governance and mismanagement of the economy, they have now realised that bad leadership affects everyone irrespective of their faith.
Gone are the days when Northerners are deceived in the name of religion by their religious and political leaders and told to support candidates on religious grounds. Northern Muslims have become increasingly vocal about elections not being an Islamic principle but a manipulative concept that keeps them impoverished.

Yes, he said it because he did it as Governor and when he became minister, the two key components of power generation and distribution had been privatized by the previous Administration with encumbrances in the contracts making it extremely difficult to terminate.
