SarakiBukola:
I support neither PDP nor APC
( was a former supporter till PMB disappointed...i still prefer them to PDP)
Akpabio is not remotely 1/100 of what Saraki is in terms of influence and likely wealth.
APC would be extremely stupid to make Akpabio, a known Saraki's boy the Senate President.
All these defectors to APC are moles. I hope APC doesn't allow them to destroy them from within Don't mind them. Watch out for part two! PDP is the master strategist |

Even though it's a big lost to the PDP, but you can not compare the gain of a Senate President to that of an ordinary minority leader, talk more of 3 Governors!
So let Akpabio go! |

Politics › Re: ICC Denies Rating Buhari On Integrity by onexile: 7:08am On Aug 03, 2018 |
ivandragon: A lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin in an interview on a national television in July claimed that the ICC invited Buhari as its keynote speaker, because he is the only president, that achieved the highest indices on integrity in a check carried out by security agencies from twenty European countries and the United States of America on both serving and former African leaders.
This message was paraphrased by supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to read ‘Buhari showed me a document he brought back from ICC, Hague. A top-secret Background Check on Global leaders, past and present. He is the only leader rated XXX1 on Integrity, the Highest Rating Globally. That’s why he is the only World Leader on the ICC floor to address them - Abdulmumin Jibrin, APC Kano’.
The post was shared on social media platforms by loyalists of the president, including Lauretta Onochie, Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media.
But ICC spokesperson, Fadi El Abdallah in an email exchange via the Public Affairs unit of the court said “The International Criminal Court (“ICC” or the “Court”) is not involved in any integrity or background check of world leaders,”
He added that it has been standard practice for the ICC to invite Heads of State one at a time for certain high-level events, such as anniversary commemorations but also the opening of the judicial year, adding that “this is because of logistical and protocol reasons involved in hosting dignitaries at that level”.
He also disclosed that other heads of state have been invited and have participated in high level events organised by the Court in the past, stressing that President Buhari was invited as keynote speaker for the commemorations of the 20th anniversary.
El Abdallah said President Buhari was not the only leader invited to the event but that ‘Nigeria was the only State represented by its President’.
He added that more than 30 other States were represented at the level of national Senates and Parliaments chiefs, as well as Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice.
The presidency declined to confirm or refute the claim. ‘Ask the man who told you,’ the spokesman of the president, Femi Adesina said
[b]We have reached out to Jibrin to clarify his claim and tell us his source but no response yet. Onochie has also refused to response to questions about the claim she shared.

Umaru Al-Makura This is contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi, the Secretary to the State Government in Lafia. Abdullahi said the cabinet reshuffle took immediate effect. However, he explained that the decision was to enable the affected persons focus on their political aspirations in the 2019 general elections and for others to pursue their professional/career goals. The statement listed the affected commissioners as Abdulhamid Kwarra of Ministry of Environment and Solid Minerals; Gabriel Aka’Ka, Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development, and Mary Enwongulu of Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. Also affected were Bamaiyi Anagba, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development; Dr Daniel Iya, Health; Yusuf Shehu Usman of Information, Culture and Tourism, as well as Sonny Agassi of Lands and Physical Planning. Others include Mr Mohammed Yahaya of Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport; and Tanko Zubair of Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives. uchelvlink: Well I don't even know how and where to start from. plus I had mixed feelings contemplating how to bring this issue on NL until I summoned the courrage.
Please forgive me I have to practically beg as it stands now so i dont loose my job.
I work in one of the Tecno shops here in Portharcout (name withheld) and I fell victim to a young man who came to buy phone. ***tears**
To cut the story short, he requested for Tecno Camon XPro (78,000) and said he didn't have cash so was going to do a transfer for me which I obliged. So I gave him my number.
in few minutes I recieved the alert of 80,000 cash transfer (extra 2000 on top). I tried to bring his attention to the fact that the cash is in excess but he said I should take the remaining ine as a gift from him and I thanked him.
little did I know it was a customized text message he sent to my phone! **tears**
I never knew! I never suspected! I never thought this could happens! human beings are indeed wicked!
I only got to know it was a fraud after he had gone. I closed work that day and was about doing my account when I decided to check my account balance and behold, the money did not enter. I was shocked! initially I didn't believe it until I visited my bank for a statement of account which I got and it confirmed there were actually no transfer of money on that said date.
presently, the owner of this outlet has given me up until Friday 18th to account for the money or he throw me out. despite all my explanation and plea to him yet he has refused to understand.
Please i genuinely need all the help I can get to repay rhis money! my last month salary has not been paid, it was supposed to be paid on Friday last week but i didnt get an alert so I suspect he deliberately seized my salary. I do not begrudge him anyway.
This thing happened in on Wednesday 9th and time is running out. Please help in any way you can. God bless you in advance!
MOD please I am sorry, you can take this thread to the rightful place if it's supposed to be here I believe you have learned your lessons. BTW if you had told me this would have been a settled matter. lol |
