The Arrival of Orunmila

Commander Orunmila and his 3 female companions were excited about returning to Earth.

Before their departure from Palm Tree Planet they had consulted the Oracle. The divination was shocking, they were heading to a planet that had become backward and primitive.

Two Earth hours to arrival within Earth's orbit, Mina decided to do an operations check of their weapons. She had tight curly hair unlike Duduyumi who had naturally straight hair and a much darker complexion. Nene was assigned to the Wardrobe to perform an integrity test on the Space suits. Duduyumi perfomed a systems check on the life support systems. She spotted a fault in the Recycler software and inserted the relevant code to correct the flaw.
Orunmila stroked his beared softly and was a bit worried at the picture on the Holovisor at the center of the Flight Room. Would they be able to fly through the blue atmosphere?
In 40 Earth minutes time, he would have to switch of the Gravity Thrusters and decelerate to the speed of sound before activating the retro rockets.
He had marked their landing location using the Holo Magnifier. They were to land in a forest region. They would damage only a few trees if he was very careful.
On Ile-Ife, the scout had not yet returned to the village. It had been observed that a large object hanging on a rope was coming closer to the ground. In the distance
he saw a big hut coming down from the sky on a rope that streched down from the heavens.
As the big hut was climbing down the rope, it vomited thunder and lightning.
"There must be witches and wizards at work!"
Orunmila checked the signals coming in from the sensors. The atmosphere was okay but the biochemical analysis would take 3 days to come through. It was a nice opportunity to meditate. After 3 days, Nene fitted everybody into their space suits. As Orunmila slowly turned open the outer air-lock his heart began to beat faster.
The scout began to sweat, "At last they have finished feeding on intestines and liver".
He saw four people emerge from the hut.
