nolly042: bro from the analysis i just did on gold, the weekly pivot is around the 50% fibo level and you know it is not a major reversal level. price is likely to see the high of july

break of the weekly pivot area 1311.24 will send price
to 1339 which is around the high of july at 1347 area...

Gold is current going up...
After the break of 1283.37 which price having to test the level before heading back upward..
that to me is a valid sign of upward movement...
Am expecting price to reach 1311 once 1293.41 is successfully broken...

that swallowed my stop on the buy from 1297...
which brings us to the current price on gold...
price is now below the monthly pivot and if you read my analysis on sunday,
i said if 1297 area is broken then price will likely head down to 1270 area

Still holding a long position from 1290.71 though (SL 1286.68). I reckon we'll see above 1300.xx but let's see what the US Trade balance numbers would be.

Well, thats also part of the reason why i took a sell earlier around the monthly pivot because i see it getting down to 1283.xx after which if broken, then down it goes...
Thats why i used 40pips stop which is just above the range high after the long sell candle on the 1hr

and i might be wrong....

My Analysis on Gold for this week...

Fridays daily candle closed with a nice pin bar formation
which suggest a move up in Gold.
So what i will be looking will be a retracement down to the 50-61% fib level
of the pin bar before the up move start which is where my entry for the buy will be
these level are 1297-1300 area.
once price makes the level, i will be taking a buy and price should move up to
1322 area of whic if broken, price will continue its up movement, price will be heading
up to 1355 area.

a break of 1297 will lead gold to the downside of at least 1270 area...
so watch out for this level...
